2) Blood tests (ugh.. this one time I had a strange attack of some sort while on holiday... and I was taken to hospital and a trainee tried to take my blood in this weird 3cm needle with a cup on the end.. basically you put the needle into the vein and the cup fills up... well the trainee stuck the needle in to my wrist about 7 times before giving up and handing it over to a trained nurse >_<

One day, you walk past a cake shop and lo and behold! A beautiful slice of chocolate cake catches your eye. It is absolute heaven; luscious chocolate fudge filling, moist brown cake, sparkling icing and a juicy strawberry on top... It is just perfect. Your mouth begins to water, and you can't take your eyes off it. You just want to sink your teeth into it! So off you walk into the cake shop, and pluck up enough courage to buy a slice of aforesaid chocolate cake from the girl behind the counter. You eat it, and it is so good, it leaves you begging for more. So, the next day, you go and buy another slice of heavenly chocolate perfection. It is so amazing, you can't even find a single fault with it. After a while of merely enjoying it slice by slice, you begin to wonder what it would be like if you bought a whole cake.. and eventually, you decide to take a plunge and buy the entire cake. Once you finish it, you think to yourself 'I don't care if I never eat another cake in my life! This is the cake for me!' and go to buy another whole choccie cake. The cake is starting to taste a little off... but you hardly notice it. Slowly you realize you're starting to wear off the whole chocolate cake craze... it was just a passing faze. You stow away the cake in the back of your fridge and wander off to occupy your mind elsewhere. On the way back from the pub, you happen to pass that cake shop again and surprise! A beautiful fruit cake catches your eye! It is exotic... low fat yet still creamy and exciting... You must have it! Your mouth waters as you buy the cake from the cake girl... and after a while of buying slice by slice, you feel as if THIS is the cake for you and buy the whole thing. You are about to sink your teeth into the whole cake, when you suddenly notice the chocolate heaven cake sitting forlornly at the back of your fridge. D'oh! you think to yourself... How could you EVER have forgotten the chocolate beauty? You toss the exotic fruit cake into the dumpster and return to the delectable comfort of the chocolate cake. I love you, little chocolate cake! I'll never leave you for another type of cake again! However... after a while... you begin to grow weary of chocolate cake once more... and return to drown your sorrows in the pub. Passing the cake shop on your way home once more, another new cake catches your eye. Beautiful Treasure Island Cheesecake... Simple, yet elegant and more important, oh so delicious looking! Those waters begin to race once more in your mouth and you go to the counter to the cake girl to buy the cheesecake.
Love is when you realize that the cake girl is who you really have been after all along... that all those times you went to buy those cakes was just a mask... to hide the fact that you can't drag yourself away from her.
