Well this summer has been PACKED, so be ready cuz I have SO MUCH to say!

I'll start with the sports. I'm captain of two teams: dragonboating and tennis.
Tennis has been really fun. There's a lot of potential this year, and meeting all the new members has been great. The only bad thing is that practice is at 6 AM from Mon-Fri, so I never really get to sleep in. = n = So tired... One thing we accomplished so far is UNIFORMS! We got these adorable pleated skirts that a gaillion times better than last year. pwahaha. x)

I also do dragonboating, which is..amazing. (for those that don't know, dragonboating is basically like crew. There are 20 people on a boat, two rows, one caller/drummer and one steersman.) The practices are INTENSE, and sometimes I just want to go home and drop dead for a couple of hours, but it alright because I love, love, LOVE my team. <33333 Almost twenty new people joined this year, and all of them are just awesome. Our team got bigger and stronger, and I think we can totally win...or at least improve our time. But best of all we have tons of fun. Hopefully we'll have a bonfire and another movie night before I leave...

for EUROPE! So this summer I'm going on a three-week tour of Europe!! I forget the details, but I know forsure that we'll hit up Paris, London, Rome, and any place in-between. (If anyone is actually reading this and has any tips for where we should go or what I should bring, feel free to tell me! Any suggestions are welcome. ) Anyways, I'll be leaving July 31, so I'll try REALLY HARD to get some of my drawings up by then (I have like...a whole notebook full =__=; )

hmm. What ELSE have I done? OH. I went to a college writing workshop that my school offers, and my head is STILL reeling. All that introspection over such a short amount of time cannot be healthy. But in the last hour of the very last day...I realized I could be an artist. It's never really been an option for me before, since I'm asian and all my parents want me to do is go to med school and become a doctor, but I'm honestly considering it now. It'll be hard, considering the fact that I don't have a portfolio and I've never taken an art class in my life, but I know I have the passion to do it. I dunno, it's just a thought--a dream, really--right now, but maybe I'll get lucky, right? > u > Again, if anyone has any tips for me, please share! Thanks.

Haha that was so much. x) I'm sure I'm missing something in there, but I think that sums up my summer pretty well..for the most part. I hope all your summers are fantastic as well, and will continue to be!

The weather is chilly and cold in the morning...
I can see my breath come out in cute little puffs...
I get to wear my big poofy jacket and warm fuzzy boots...

Too bad it only lasts for a few hours. -___-

Then the sun comes out and we get a high of like..70 degrees.
No more jackets. No more boots.
Or the sky decides to make us miserable with random bouts of rain that threaten the internet connection at our school.

ohmdear.

It is possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life. No. Wait. It's so much more than that.

It's also rather sad.

And it makes me tingly. Hee.

So basically the stroy is about a piemaker named Ned. He is the most adorable thing on TV. Now I'm really not lying. He's a delightful mix of shyness, awkwardness, and boyishness that makes you want to squeal every time he smiles. ~~~~♥ So Ned has the power to bring the dead back to life! There are three rules that come with this power:
1. He can only bring them back for 60 seconds.
2. If he keeps them alive for more than a minute, something/someone else must die in their place.
3. If he touches them again, they die forever.

Now...the PLOT really thickens when he revives his childhood sweetheart. This is where the story gets heartwrenchingly sad -- they are obviously in love...but...if he touches her again...

she'll die.

The storylines for the past few episodes have been great. The dialogue is FANTASTIC. It's really smart..and random? and funny and cute and just incredibly fun to listen to. I REALLY REALLY think you should start watching.

If you havent already...you're missing out.

6:00 wake up (nyuuurrhghh. so early.)
6:45 get to school. see people. greet/wave/hug/glomp/molest. >___>

7:00 FIRST PERIOD OF THE DAY and by god 7 in the morning is an ungodly hour to study history. T__T APUS here i come. so we meeet....mr. bohanon! wooooOOooOOo. he's a pretty cool guy. cracks some decent jokes. isnt a totally senile old fart. i think i'll like him. ...except for the fact that we have a test tomorrow. ALREADY. man. luckily i thought i was today so i already studied. -___- go me. and it's like...REALLY FAST PACED college style class and TOTALLY independent study (or so i've heard) so it's like...a college class. basically. i'm excited to see how i do.

8:00 SECOND PERIOD. APLanguage. OH. MY. WOW. i cannot begin to describe how much i like the teacher for this class. she is the zaniest thing i have ever seen. i think i laughed the most in this class which is why i like it so much. mrs. hall is like...hahah. she's eccentric. i'll say that about her. and i've heard such wonderful stories about her class. i'm so PUMPED for her class this year. she's definitely a teacher i want to ge tthe know better, so i'll be like -RAISES HAND FOR WHOLE PERIOD- o U o heheh. she's just so darn funny. wow. C: i cant wait.

9:00 THIRD PERIOD. nnn. it's so wierd to have three classes before snack. i felt so disoriented because i went to my locker...and...everyone else was still moving. -___- it took me a full minute to realize what i was doing wrong, then i rushed to MR. MUSTILLO's class. CLS babyy. chemistry of living sciences. yeah i know it sounds bad. but it's like..labs. all year. and the teacher seems really...friendly. and nice. he's more of a friend helpin you out than teacher. by now i've noticed that all of my teachers have been telling me how hard their classes are. =___= just a side note. anyways, CLS is like...a must-have if you're gonna go into bio/med...which....i'm goin into. whuddahyahknow. i'm not too happy about this like..three month chem review, but we're gonna CLONE our DNA. which sounds so awesome. and we're gonna make stuff GLOOOWWW by putting JELLYFISH GENES into them. = U = how cool does that sound. i say. VERY. forreals.

10:25 FOURTH PERIOD. French 3. I like how, since this is the same teacher we've had for two years now, we all saunter into her class all familiar with each other and we're rowdy and loud and happy. it's like...not the first day of school anymore because we're so USED to eachother. xD so madame tells us how hard her class will be this year..and judging by the two workbooks and textbook we got it looks like she isnt lying. T____T and she has this new policy (that probably wont last very long at all) that we have to speak FRENCH. all period. NE PARLER PAS ANGLAIS. you know how hard that is. = n = so yeah. this will be quite an interesting experience. OH. and one of my veryvery god friends is the TA for the class. yaaay c: heheh i got connections now...

11:25 FIFTH. Physics. humhum. the teacher for this class is Mr. Ziolkowski. what a cool name. hahah. so anyways. he's really nice. i already know him from last year when i borrowed his video camera for a project (he's also the contemporary media teacher here). so he's real cool and all. i heard his class was aiite. hard if you dont study -__- but okay if you pay attention and do hw. generic class, eh? not much to say about it yet. >__>

LUNCHTIMESSSS. finally. LOL our distirct decided to be ASSES this year and totally KILL our payment system. so appartenly we now have to put money on our ID cards in order to buy food from the hutch(our name for the mini-cafeteria..food...place) ...WHUT. i really dont think that idea's gonna fly, but WHATEVER. they do what they want and we have to deal with it. go figure. anywaysss...we're juniors noooow. so you know what THAT means! JUNIOR PIIIITT! woot. it's not really a pit, though. it's more like a tree. and benches. xD but it's OURS. and it's COOL. and i feel kinda old and mature and like...TOP of the food chain yaknowhatamsayin? x] it was tight. and we had cupcakes. C: i love our class.

OKAY rest of the day really fast sort of.
sixth period was MATH. aw man i just know it's gonna be boring this year. calc honors. uuughhnhngnnghn. :C i do not look forward to math. the teacher's all ...strict. = n = it's cuz she's new. bah. sux.

and then SEVENTH. ooooh man. this made me maad.
okay. so it turns out. that i cant have seven classes and do a sport at the same time. if i did, i wouldnt be able to go to my away games, which is totally stupid, in my opinion, but that's how they wanna play. >C but wanna know what this means for ME?

I've decided to write in you tonight because I just realized that I am very very screwed.

I've got about 200 Calculus problems to do.
I've got to read Catcher in the Rye and find quotes and write paragraphs about them.
Then i must memorize all the presidents and their party and what year they served.

And that, Journal, is why I am writing. I think I'll go cry myself to sleep and get up early to start this crapload of homework.
