It is crazy to think how in the matter of hours life can make a total 180 flip. A friend of mine died last Friday from what is pretty much a bizarre health accident. There is no offical word yet other than that there wasn't evidence of 'foul play'.
What hit me the most was that not even two years ago Jenna was holding my hand in Mr Huff's 6th hour telling me that Christy was going to be ok...and that it was ok to cry. She was the only student who really knew what to say to me while my best friend lay on the brink of death in the hospital. Now I was holding Christy's hand telling her that Jenna was in a better place.

Life is crazy, and if there is one thing I have learned than it is to expect the unexpected.

Be grateful of those around you!

Since joining dA my writing has grown. I am proud of what I it has turned into. I concentrate mainly on poetry, some short stories, and lately i have been into essays.
My poetry is usually bitter and satirical. I love to use politics, society, and stupid people for these sorts of pieces. I also venture into religious pieces that can either be heavenly and uplifting or once again satrical. My inspiration comes from personal experiances and that of others.
My short stories are either really short or really long. I tend you keep them under around three to four pages. My stories are usually writen to get a point across and each have at least one (if not more) moral themes in them.
Essays have become a nice way for me to express my anger with people and the world. I love to use the freedoms that come with essays, you can use first person and comedy! I try to make my essays have a point, no matter how random the topic seems to be.

I got this great idea for a story, but the plots are so complicated and the characters have so much depth that it would easily be 200+ pages. I just dont have the time to do such a project. BUT I LOVE THE IDEA, so I am turning it into a play. I have always loved how plays give the actor so much control over the character and the writter doesnt have to go into detail about the surroundings and feelings (bcuz i usually overdo that part).
So i am proud to announce that my currently untilled play will be released in Scenes via deviant art. It will be a 3 act play with 12 scenes in all. It is a satir about love, family, acceptance, sexuality, and the illusion of perfection.
Im done with three scenes but scene one will most likely be re-wrote.
Please watch for my play to start coming out...it is going to be one of my proudest pieces.

The day started at Coach's to eat with our long time friends for lunch. After we frantically searched for a parking spot near the theater. We finally got there to find the Civic Center full of eager people waiting for this broadway musical to get underway. After a quick stop at the OZDUST Gift Station we made our way to the fantastic seats my mom was able to get.

The stage was the first was thing to take my breath. A giant map of the land of OZ was the curtain. The frame around the stage looked as if a masive clock with a Dragon coming out of the top (what is called the clock-work dragon in the novel and play).

The curtain began and the first note gave me goosebumps. The rest is just FANTASTIC! The music throughout the entire musical gave me goosebumps and the songs are still running laps across my mind. The humor had everyone falling out of their seats and the ending almost brought tears to my eyes. The cast was fantastic, the costums were fantastic, the sets were amazing, and the plot twists and Wizard of Oz tie-in were fun.

Everything was fantastic, just wow! Me and my friend Chantel (who will most likely be on broadway herself one day) both got programs and were left breathless. I was so speechless at the end. WOW. WOW. WOW. I say that if you ever get the chance you should (no must) see it!!!

I have also decided that today...June 1st will be the start of my 30 Days of Poetry project. I have several poems that I have written but not yet published and if i make a goal to release one poem a day then I will actually make myself do so. Hopefully i will be able to do this!

I really think I will like it.
As for my writing...who knows? Now that school it out I can hopefully pull myself out of my long lasting writers block. I should. I am working on an urban satire and several inspirational poems.

I havent been able to find myself, what style i like or what I want to write about. I start a theme then the inspiration dies 1/2 way thru the first piece. SO I am proud to announce that I shall launch a new me, a revitalized me. New inspiration and new poems. This will be soon, for I think I have finally found myself.
I WANT THIS NEW COMING to be BIG!!!!!!!!! I am working on something that I fell will be good enough to start this new me that will bring great work and awarness to the problems of the world.

I yelled, "Dad, I think we have a tornado!" He came running, looked and yelled "RUN!"
Quickly we ran to the celler, located outside. My mother was at work and my two brothers raced out infront of me. The pull of the tornado tried to clam us as it tore across the field we call our backyard. As my dad shut the celler door, the tornado was less that 100 yards away from us. Loud sounds followed. 3 minutes later the tornado sirens went off.
We emerged later, for it had passed, no damage was done to my house, just every power line was snapped in half and laying in my backyard.
We had no warning........and my worst nightmare came true.

As for my writing: A new series that will be the Tomorrow series has begun. THe first is Strength: The Struggle of Tomorrows Heroine, the next is HEADLINES OF TOMORROW. As of right now none of these stories go hand and hand w/ each other. Actually they all are diffrent events that couldn't go together.

My long awaited Bio and other ideas: I have had this longing for and Autobiography. THen I had an idea of my friends life as i would think what was going on. But i also had my inevitable death that i started (which was a cry for poetic knowledge). So they are all going to be put into one super story......i really love the idea i got.

1st I would like to thank Sneaky-Snake and Marina Sky for telling me about this wonderful site. Without them I may have never grown into what I am now.

2nd I would like to tell you what is to come writing wise. There will be some more meaniful poems about human struggles. (ie-one night stands, addictions, love) They will be somewhat like Listen Now. I would like to tell say that my story idea for a fictional bio about myself is still underway.

I have really missed her while she was gone. Her eyes are the same, her attitude is the same, and the silky touch of her skin is still the same. She is still the same Christy I love.
Before I knew it our stomachs were aching....it was 5:00. We had talked for five hours: we had beem laughing, Christy had talked about the wreck and showed pictures, I didn't like it that much. We tried not to bring up Chris or the wreck...but she did. It helped her deal with it.
Me and Sherry ran to McDonalds and grabbed something than hurried back to Christy.
The teachers had painted her room pink and purple with lime green polka-dots (doesn't sound like Christy...but she loves it). The homec. teacher took donations and made her a quilt, and she loves it. Christy is learning to live with her injuries. She can role out of bed and she has mastered her cane. She is doing fantastic.
Finally, after 6 and 1/2 hours with her, we said our goodbyes. I hugged her one last time; the touch of her warm skin made me thankful enough that she is alive.

The unforgiving Oklahoma weather once more changed drastically from what it had been five minutes ago. The icy wind blew into my unprotected face as I frantically ran into the hell we called school. The bell echoed throughout the halls, mindless faces pushed pass me as they went began another day of pointless learning, and the jokes got ready for their naps.
I on the other hand loved the experiences of knowledge, I loved it so much that the councilors questioned my determination. So as another began, I prepared for the next obstacle life would give me. Life wasn’t the nicest to me, but others suffered more. I wasn’t Mr. Popularity but I was the pimp that everyone liked and disliked at the same time.
