No, I'm not dead. Just horribly busy and lacking a scanner. I've been drawing a bit, nothing too crash hot but drawing none the less. My anatomy seems to be improving, so that's a plus.

There's been a fair bit of work going on at the RP Comm I co-run with . Glitch events are always busy. The End is Blip, or just Blip, is a multi-fandom lj-based role play of random, crack, awesome and win. If anyone is interested, check us out over here!

My machine for work is currently down the for the count so, given that I have a bit of time to spare, I thought I might as well update here.

Life's been pretty busy. Work's been hectic, sleep has been lacking and over the past weekend, much alcohol has been consumed. (Seriously, Grey Goose is the best vodka I've ever drank @__@)

I haven't really been doing much in the art department, save for a few sketches when I get bored at work. There's a good chance I'd be making more time for drawing only my desktop is currently dead and my scanner doesn't get along with my laptop. I'm working on it though. There's a few pics I'd like to upload. :3

Here I am with yet another somewhat pointless entry explaining why I haven't been/won't be updating any time soon. Yes. I fail. FAAAAAAAAIL.

For starters, work has been busy. Training and stuff for my new job. It's taken nearly two months, but things are finally starting to settle down. And I even started drawing again. Nothing big, just a few sketches and scribbles and random stuff like that.

Here I was thinking I was all good and ready to start updating again, and then my internet got cut. I say this is a most suckfull thing! Or something! Yeah!

Should have it up and running again by next week... I hope.

Sup Journal.

Once again I'm writing an entry stating that in the past few days, the following things have happened.

1. Computer (Kompii) died on me, am looking into repairs.
2. Lappy (Matisse) has started randomly shutting himself off, overheating and making a really horrible crackling noise.
3. The back window of my car got smashed by some random delinquents. >__>;
4. So, I bought a new car the very next day. xD
5. Internet will be cut in the next 3-5 days. Have to wait for it to be cut to be able to set up new connection. Also need to wait for new modem and such to arrive as my brother is kidnapping the one I have now. (It was his from before he moved out)
6. I'm tired.
7. No Rly.

I still have internet at work, but a lot of sites are restricted/not allowed.

So.

Fuck.

It's 11:48pm. The police just left my house a few minutes ago. Just before 10pm, a car drove past my house, threw something out the window... and shattered the back windscreen of my car. As I was inside and vehicles drive by my house all the time, the car was long gone before I got outside. I heard it drive past though. Sounded pretty standard to me. I'm thinking 4 cylinder, some little piece of shit car with a passenger overload of deliquent drunken 13 year olds out to play tough.

So now I'm without a vehicle, given that while the glass is still within the back frame at the moment, it may shatter at any time. I've managed to get a work mate of mine to give me a ride to work tomorrow. Cops are coming back here tomorrow afternoon to take photo's and search the yard for 'evidence'. The officer assigned to the job tonight is guessing a small bullet or a pellet. I say fan-fucking-tastic. Just what I need to hear when I'm home alone.

Hah.

I need to be up in 5 hours. Some how I just can't see myself sleeping tonight.

So, now I'm being trained for AA (no Keri, not Alcoholics Anonymous XD), and ASV to go with my CS-200, UV, HPLC and whatever other lab machines I've worked with over the years. I'm on the road to becoming one of those over-qualified technicians that make a crap load of money because of they're l33t skillz0rz and ability to do... everything. Bwahahaa! It feels weird to flail over them though... considering they're all pretty much younger than me... cept for the bass player... but... nah. Not my type. Tom is oddly cute though. Oh. Yeah. My interwebs? will be dying off for a few days sometime in the next week or two. I have no idea how long it'll take for it to kick back in. I'm guessing a week at the most. I've been playing MGS3 a fair bit this past 24 hours. I'm currently in total love with the camo gear and the ability to knife, strangle, knock out, threaten, hold knife to throat like a sneaky ninja and interrogate and then to drag the body off into the scrub or throw it off a random cliff.

Video games make me feel like a sick, sick person.

Yo!

Sorry for vanishing again everyone. Life just doesn't want to give me a break.

This year alone I've been sick 4 times, been in a car accident, got a new job, and am now in the process of finding a new place to live before the 25th (I love how they give us notice >__>. To make things even more hectic I'm working 5-6 days a week and am getting around 3-5 hours of sleep a night.

Oh! And on Monday? My lovely car (hate that stupid thing >__> decided to be a royal pain and break down on me... while I was stopped at the traffic lights of a busy intersection... at lunch time. AAHAHHAHAHAHAAA... yeah. XD;;;

So now my car is at the mechanic and I've borrowed my parents ute to get to work and back so that I don't die or anything. lol.

Bwaha!

Just a quick update to say that I am still very much alive and will hopefully be back to posting stuff in the next week or so.

Shift work is finally over for 2007 and won't be kicking in again until mid 08. My computer is being a pain in the arse and positively dying on me, but my brother Adam and I are going to fix it up in the next few days. I'll -finally- get to use my tablet properly. Can't freaking wait! XD For the record, I'm on Adam's computer at the moment. yeah.

Bwee. I moved house yesterday. I've gone from living in a little house in the middle of the country where your closest neighbor is a good kilometer away, to suddenly having houses all around, neighbors all around, cars driving past all the time and the odd plane flying overhead. Noisy as it may be, I really like it here. My housemates are awesome. :3

Alright! I'm gonna go check out the progress of my car. I tell you what, living with two guys who work at Repco is awesome. Staff Discount and free maintenance! Haha, nah they're good fella's. Ellyse will be back in a few weeks so I'll have a girl to team up with too.

Whoever thought sleep could make you feel so good. 10 hours of interrupted sleep. I haven't had that in... well, ages. I've been averaging 4 hours of sleep a night and living on a diet of coffee, green apples (cause red ones are crap ), breakfast bars and when I can manage it microwave vegetables. Work's still eating my soul. Today is my first day off in about 2 weeks, though I'll be back at work in 5 hours time and then up for 3 night shifts. Lovely eh?

Yeaaah.

Anyway, now that I've had my whine about work and it's evilness, I'll get to the point of this entry.

Music makes me want to draw. Whatever music is playing effects what I draw, the style of the drawing and my whole mood overall. Guess you could say it inspires me.

So, once work calms down and I'm back to working only my own shifts and no longer EVERYONE else's as well as my own, I want to start picking out a line from a song and drawing something for that particular verse. And rather than just the quick scribbles that I seem to have filled this gallery with, I want to make it something... worthwhile. So, anyone out there with awesome songs or verses or anything or even anyone that wants to join in, gimme a yell and we'll go from there.

We've reached the stretch of the year where I seem to have no time for anything save work and sleep (and even that is lacking). I've been working 12 hour days and 12 hour nights for a past month or two and haven't really been getting my proper rostered days off. However! It's been a while since I've updated... with... well... anything so I figured I'd post simply for the sake of posting. XD

Health wise I haven't been going too well. This year alone I've had tonsilitis 3 times, Ross River Fever and Shingles. Fantastic eh? >_> Other than that I've been working looooong hours and 5 or 6 days a week so I haven't really had much time to draw.

I have however developed an unhealthy addiction to the movie Labyrinth. ZOMG. DAVID BOWIE AND HIS TIGHT TIGHT PAAANTS. XDD That movie makes me smile from start to end... which brings me to my next topic.

2007 it would seem has brought out a sudden wave of incredibly stupid people. Esspecially on the forums. I shouldn't let it bug me, but it does. Yesterday I had 3 near misses while driving from one side of town to the other. Town literally takes about 2 minutes to cross, if that. All 3 cases were people just pulling out in front of me or reversing out of a park onto the road. Also, I heard a story the other day that 8 dutch tourists ignored signs saying: "Crocodiles. DO NOT SWIM." and went swimming anyway. Why? Because it looked like a pretty place to swim with all the water lillies and such. Meanwhile, there are no waterlillies in that creek. Just hyacinth... which spreads like a net and strangles the fish. Perfect place for a lurking croc to hide.

Humanity is getting stupider by the minute.

By the way, I got my blood test results. It said I'm fine but the doc is adamant that I still have Ross River Fever. Eh. I'm starting to feel better. I can actually move my wrists now and am typing without cringing. That's a good thing. Yes.

Ah... I've started writing again. Oddly enough I'm starting in the middle of the book. But once I get this part sorted I can work with the lead up and then the end. Should have it completed by 2026. XD

Not a lot happening on the art front... though there should be cause I have a massive list of commissions for people that I haven't really got to... Blah. Might get some done tonight. Or tomorrow. Yeah.

I spent over three hours at the doctor today. It was evil. Waiting rooms, stupid doctors, receptionist leaving my file on her desk instead of giving it to the doc, urine test, blood tests, stupid questions and a doctor continuously grabbing, poking and prodding my wrists to see if they hurt. Which they did. A lot.

Anyway. I'm being tested for immune system disordery things and ross river fever. Friday the lab will send the results back though I've been warned the test could say negative even if I have it. Blah. They won't start treating me until they get a result. So for the next few days I'm on nurofen plus and panadol. yaaay.

I found out today that I'm officially back to work on the 10th. I'll be back in the equipment store. Yay! And I'll be in charge of it too! WOOO.

Movement has improved significantly throughout the day. I've taken to drawing in short bursts (10 minutes here, 5 minutes there) and holding off on computer use, gaming, weights and gardening. n_n;

My car is potentially fried. My hard drive is steadily degrading. My phone has decided to randomly cut out, turn itself off and stop reading the sim card. And. Everytime I turn the tv on to watch some random crappy show just to take my mind off things, a character dies suddenly and tragically.

Anyway, here's a quick rundown of my week away.

Wednesday, 14th:
Haircut, colour and minigolf. I never knew mini golf was a contact sport. XD

Thursday, 15th:
6.10am fly out, Welcome to college, Indro, and a kiss.

Friday, 16th:
City, Heineken, Bundy Rum and an Ugly Party.

I honestly can't remember the past few days. I can't recall conversations nor what I've really been doing. The doc put me on a rather high dose of penicillin and a rather high dose of Parcetamol... along with some other cough medicine stuff. Truth be told I think I've been high for the past few days. And sleeping a lot too. Apparently I've played through 2 seasons on harvest moon and didn't realise until I picked it up today. o_o;

3 meetings tomorrow about mine work. Depending on how they go I might be off to Brisbane on thursday and staying at college with Kriss for about 5 or so days. That way I'll be down there for St Patty's Day on the saturday and Kriss's birthday on the sunday. I'll get to see the group from new years aswell.

I still can't draw. It's driving me nuts. Hopefully when and if I go to Brissy I'll pick up a copy of photoshop. And hopefully that'll inspire me to not only start but actually finish something.

I've got something wrong with my chest and throat. I can hardly talk and I'm feeling like crap. So I haven't exactly been in much of a drawing mood. Then again I haven't drawn anything I've actually been happy with for a loooong while.

Which sucks. A lot.

I got myself a siamese fighter fish the other day. He's black and blue and awesomely... awesome? XD His name is Hiro Ryuuzaki. (Hiro after the dude on Heroes... he's so cute. And Ryuuzaki after L in Death Note. Cause L is Love.)

I've been stuffing around with my guitar a lot lately. I can almost play Someday the Dream will end by Nobuo Uetmatsu. I've worked it all out myself which makes me feel all... yay. XD

I've got a few pics in the works. And they are actually coloured!

Updating just to get rid of the rather depressing last post on my main page. So prepare yourself for the usual random crap that I write in this here journal thing.

And yes, there are bugs on the screen. And the Keyboard... and the mouse... Oh and my hand aswell. And I have established that clicking on the bugs does not make them miraculously disappear.

I've got a lot of work happening at the moment. The problem is that it's all rubbish and the majority of it is only half done. There are a lot of pics I want to colour but lack the tools to colour it the way I want to. And then there is the stupid painting series that I'm half way through which I hate with a passion but as it is a commission for my boss I kinda HAVE to finish it.

Blah.

Erm... I don't think I'm improving at all. I don't think my block has quite left me yet either. Bugger eh?

I had a pretty normal day up until 3pm this afternoon. My Mum and I were driving to T'sville to drop off a ute to my brother. Mum was in the XR6, I was in my laser. We got about 20km south of town when we found ourselves at the end of a long line up of cars.

We pulled up, waited and after about 15 minutes an ambulance drove past. As the ambo passed my car the driver called out, "it'll be about 2 hours mate." I sat, stunned. Another ambulance followed close behind the first. Both drivers looked pretty grim. We asked a truckie who was a few vehicles ahead of me if he'd heard anything on the two way. He told us that about 300m ahead, just around a bend there'd been a head on collusion between a camper van and a car. And so we waited. The line up behind us got longer and longer and we started talking to the other people waiting around us. We heard that two people had died at the scene.

2 hours later we were still waiting. Fire engines, police and ambulances came and went. A rescue chopper took off from the crash scene. And then a fire rescue car came past. A man within called out to us that "another ones just died."

After 3 hours of waiting we were on our way again. We later heard that it'd been stated on the news that a camper van and a silver station wagon, coincidently exactly the same as the one parked in my garage, had been in the accident. The station wagon had apparently pulled out infront of the van. The station wagon had then erupted into flames, trapping and killing 2 of the passengers. A woman who was passenger in the van had been airlifted to hospital but had died not long after.

The home phone was going crazy. People feared it was our car and the 3 dead were my parents and I. We dropped the ute off to Adam and came home. What should have been a 3 hour trip there and back had mutated into an 8 hour hell.

The people who died in the station wagon were locals. We don't know who they are yet. All I can say is that it will be someone I know. I live in a small community. Everyone knows everyone. So now we wait to hear who.

I feel numb.

... I feel sick.

Names were released this morning. 3 of the deceased were from brissy, 1 was a local lady. I feel horrible to say that I'm relieved that it wasn't anyone I know. But still, 4 people are dead and another fights for his life.

Really bored.

For the past 5 days I've been trapped in my house due to heavy rain and flood water. I spent my day playing scrabble and monopoly with my Mum and digging up old gaming systems for entertainment purposes.

The rain stopped for a few hours today. Stupidly, I got my hopes up. And then it started pissing down once again. It hasn't stopped for going on 8 hours. Don't get me wrong, I like the rain. I just... want to get out of this house. o_o;

I've started playing Dirge of Cerberus properly and I must say I'm really enjoying it. It's nice to finally know a bit more about Vincent. The problem is, it's making me want to draw. Only I'm having a drawing block at the moment. Thus everything I draw is absolute crap. As is... crappier than usual. n_n;

My new Derwent Pencils are finally getting a decent test run. For once I'll be doing a DECENT picture, not just a quick scribble that I'm way to lazy to try on and post anyway.

I go away for a week and have the time of my life only to return to a place I hate and find that I've lost my ability to draw. No matter how hard I try I just can't get anything done. I want to draw. I really feel like drawing. But I just can't do anything decent.
