We got our 30D body in today, which is so awesome. It doesn't mean that I will be using it, but it means I will be getting to use the 10D a lot more.

About 150-175 Mini Coopers showed up, and we all had a lot of fun. We were having a poker ride - where you go get beans (and you turn in the beans for cards and such) - and I was the navigator, its hard not to get car sick going 70 or so on country roads and trying to read

I know I had fun, and I'm pretty sure my dad- just by the look on his face- and I think my mom enjoyed it, she got a little cranky towards the end.

So, I put up the Mini Cooper series - CooperS # - in honor of my favorite car, and all of these were taken this weekend. I also put up another photo of the back of a school house - the one my great grandmother went to. Pretty cool, seeing where my great grandmother went to school, out in the middle of the country side.

Anyways, you might be getting more Mini Cooper pictures... Not sure if I want to upoad more, or take better ones first

My mom told me today (while I was trying to redo the Buzz pic) that instead of taking photographs of the backyard, why not actually help out and trim the weeds and all this junk. The way she said it, was like don't touch my camera again type attitude. And frankly, I still have a lot of good ideas to take pics of, but I don't want to anymore. And it really pisses me off, because this is something I really enjoy, and when I take pictures, I'm proud of them, even if they are shitty (like my mom thinks they are, and its only because she is "better" since she is a photography teacher) and you know what, now I feel like shit and dont want to take any more pictures, because she is always so bitchy to me about my pictures. And you know, I might become a photographer when I get out of HS, it's one of my options... but I think my mom just ruined it for me....

I'm so freaking pissed off right now. I've had the shittiest day ever so far, and I've only been away for 3 hours... Damnit... ]]> ~kingphilip
