Well, this will be my last journal entry for a while, and "Why So Serious" will be my last deviation for a while. Following up with my previous journal entry, I need to take a break. Everything is spiraling downwards, and I'm feeling a little bit like I did a year ago -- and that's not good, as I thought I had those negative thoughts squashed.

I'm just going to take a break for a little while from forums and art, and see if I can clear my head -and my heart- so that I can stand to look at myself in the mirror.

I don't know what it is, lately, but I've been doing a lot of thinking - mainly about friends, and relationships in general. Maybe it's just me going into a kind of depressed funk (even though I've been really happy these past few days), but I'm starting to wonder about people, and love (not just the romantic kind either).

What is it about having friends that make people feel...what's the word? Fulfilled. I remember not having any friends in middle school, or through freshmen-junior years in high school, and feeling completely lost and miserable. Sure, I had the people I hung out with during break, and lunch, and sometimes even after school -- but I never truly "hung out" with my so-called friends.

It was depressing, really. But then, my senior year in high school, I re-met some people I had lost contact with years before, and I was happy.

Then I left. Again.

And it's not just friends, either.. but relationships with family members. Being brought up in such a religious home, I've had honor thy father and mother ingrained into my brain since I can remember. But, how valid is that commandment when it's like your mother and father couldn't care less about your feelings, or your thoughts? Everything was my fault. Even when it wasn't.

If you're reading this, sorry everything is all jumbled. My thoughts are all over the place, and it's hard to form a decent train of thought.

Anyway, back to friends. What is that defining point when your friends stop becoming just your friends and into something more? I've been telling people you "just know", but what if you find yourself regretting the choices made, after the initial happiness? Do you just keep plugging along, honoring your vows, despite the fact that you're miserable? Or do you ask for a break, even if temporary, despite knowing that such a request could cause the other person to break?

Anyway... I don't know; I'm a little bothered, upset, and confused at the moment, so apologies for the jumbled mess of a journal entry.

Two Days Later: So, I decided to tell him how I felt - how concerned I was about his attitude whenever we fought, how angry I was, how sad I felt...

And the shit hit the fan. The argument was explosive, and ended with him in tears and going to bed, me in tears and walking out the front door.

He told me I needed to grow up, and that maybe I wasn't mature enough to be his wife. He told me I needed to grow up!

I yelled at him and went over to a friend's house (thankfully, my friend was there for me at that hour...or ten hours, since we were talking between arguments I had with my husband, you know, so I could vent.)

I wound up going home several hours later, but I'm still extremely upset; I cried again last night, and I am sick of crying every night over some stupid thing or another.

But, I don't want to say anything any more, because I'm emotionally exhausted, and I can't take another fight...

So, I finally got my dA subscription again. Wewt! Makes me very, very happy. I've been looking for some journal CSS, but I'm pretty disappointed that there isn't anything that just gives the CSS code and says edit this, that, overthere, add image here.... I'd much prefer that, since I want to add my own images, and have an idea of sorts what I want it to look like.

Anyway - artist for hire. I've recently gotten into making website/forum graphics, and started my own little mini-business. Anne's Forum Layouts is the place ^-^. It's turned into a little mini-graphic community too, and I'm pretty pleased.

I got the idea when a friend of mine approached me about a commission for his boss & their company's website. It's my hobby anyway, so wth, let's make monies, ne?

So.. yeah. I dunno what else to write. I thought this was going to be a big long journal with my commission prices and such, but I changed my mind. And I have work in a bit and I've got to get ready.
