Dima. He's strict but fair. Fun, but serious. He's older and knows where the line between parental caretaker and confidant should be drawn. As in, he knows when to stop being his child's friend and knows when to be the parent.

10) Which of your OCs do you think will most likely be put in jail?
Isaak. In America, he'd be locked away for possession, possession with attempt to sell (or whatever the hell it's called), DUI, attempted murder. (to say his character changed drastically between the first drafts of 2008 is the year's understatement.)

11) The eighth of your OCs was put into the future! What will their job be?!?
Hitman for the Russian mafia.............in space.

Isaak--"Heh...boobs." *squish* He'd probably freak out because this is the cleanest he's been in thirteen years.

It helps me not think about being stuck in Hawaii. It helps me sort of get away from the moment. And fuck, going to the Hetalia comm is like erasing a whole month's worth of shitty guilty feelings Amy, you and I have to talk. I understand you a lot better now for a few moments, because then I start to feel guilty about being online for so long.

But, I digress. The meaning for this journal is to warn you all that IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!! Another art dump from Sarah M. Woooo-freaking-hoo!! XD So, what to expect this time? More Hetalia? Better sketches of Red Stuff? And ohmigod did I find my stylus??

The answer to all the above is a simple, nyet and for those of you playing along at home, that would be "no" in Russian.

I guess you can call it a spin off, and you've seen this before, but I'm kind of taking it seriously now. Don't get me wrong, I'm still poking at Red which has a real title now, thank you JESUS! Anyway, I started doodling Hetalia-like characters for America's various military departments: the Army, Navy, AF and Coast Guard (but I haven't really drawn little Anne yet.) Most of this is just doodles. Just straight up doodles and meant as careless, stupid fun.

Since I can't fucking stand military history (it's everything I hate about history; dates and names and battles and death tolls. I like history told as a never ending series of causes-and-effects and ideas and..../tangent) I'm just going to doodle current events and stuff that I observe about the various armed forces. Oh, and every once and a while, I'll draw some Hetalia folks. I'm treating this as a spin-off, but I may throw in my own America character just to give it that touch of originality.

The series/doodles/sketches title is the Department of Defects. No offense meant to anyone. None at all.

A~~nd because I like getting comments and page views, I'm going to x-post to the nationslash LJ comm where posting origianl characters and spinoffs is cool; unlike the main Hetalia comm where the mods delete your post faster than you can say "America the Beautiful." haha, bad analogy is bad. XD

Still outlining, but I'm pretty happy with the direction its going. Maybe one of these days I'll actually begin writing it again. Ha! >.<


My fanfiction? Well, since my computer is still at Geek Squad, they've been vegitating for some time. I've got an FMA fic ready to go, two Psych fics that are WIPs and.......an Avatar fic that may or may not be a WIP. Or I'll just ditch it since its too much like my book. Lol.

No, I'm not dead. Nor have I been kidnapped. My computer's been on the fritz, but it's ok now. So...what happened?

I'm on Christmas break, that's what! Chee-hoo. Now maybe I can actually upload all those pics I've been telling you guys about! I know you're dying to see them.

Hell, I might even upload Youso and Red on here for you all to read, what do you think about that? Or I'll upload it to fictionpress.com. Neh, depends on my mood.

Big change in style. Well, not really. I'm going a little more mature, but that's been a common running theme for a while. As you can see, 2/3 of my new deviations have warnings on them. They're not *that* bad, but I put them on just in case. ^_^

Oh, I want you to give a big welcome to Youso's newest character, Alessandra (who doesn't have a last name yet, but will soon.) I explain a little bit about her in "Baby It's Cold Outside." But in case you're too lazy to click there (but you should and leave me a comment, because I like comments), here's a short background. Alessandra is racially mixed and she met Dmitri at CoffeeBean (Russia's Starbucks). Because she's mixed (moreso than Dmitri), their relationship once they start dating is socially criticized. You know, gotta keep the Russian bloodline pure or whatever. Alessandra's just like Dmitri, wicked cunning, smart as hell. Although the two don't exist in each other's universes, Alessandra is Rebecca's (Isaak's love interest in Red) foil.

More to come once her profile gets up here. I should probably make one for eveyone else then, huh? I guess....>_> If you really want it, Kazu. (since she's probably the only one that cares.)

But this wasn't petty "mauka" showers kine rain. I swear to you, we had a mini hurricane. The wind was at 40 mph, rain just kept coming and coming in sheets. It was pretty badass, if I do say so myself.

The only bad thing is, we still have JROTC today. But when I told Mom, she said I'm staying home. Oh, darn...*snaps finger*

I promise you, I'm still alive! I've got sketches, it's just a pain in the ass to get up and scan them. I should probably try to color in at least a few of the sketch dumps. >_> Neh, anyways....

I've got an essay to write, physics to complete and an econ test to study for. ...and that's pretty much it! ^_^

So, twas the last race and "senior day/night" for the team. We ran the race at MidPac. I HATE running at MidPac. It's uphill for freaking 2 miles. Well, not quite, but there's a nasty hill that we have to run up twice. Anyway, I ran my personal best!! 30:32. I finally broke into the 30 minute marker. XD

Anyway--so that wasn't the best part. Coach threw a potluck thing at her house. And it was SO MUCH FUN!! The food was awesome and we were all just screwing around like we usually do. There was a talent show thing, a variety show, if you will. Marnie and Mellisa did a lip synching thing to "Ain't No Mountain High Enough." I read the prolouge to Red 21. And it was awesome because Mellisa and Jessica Porter acted out the scenes. The Prolouge was long, so I think that kept people interested. I fear what would have happened if they didn't think about that. Urhg...Then Marnie, Amanda Porter, Mellisa and I acted/lipsynced/sang to "Build Me Up Buttercup." Haha, so funny. Finally, the night was closed with Maya and Tiffany dancing to "Maya the Bee." :3 It was cute.

Apparently Sarah Hirata looks like Mulan. Haha. Marnie kept saying "Fa Mulan" in the wierd voice of the matchmaker. I wanted to do a song from Mulan in the "variety show" because of it, but we ran out of time. I've got the soundtrack on my iPod.

Melissa is the klutziest person I've ever met. She fell down the stairs twice. The first time, she would have kept going down the stairs if Marnie hadn't been there to break her fall. Then she fell AGAIN! And I knew it because I heard a soft thunk and an even softer "fuck." Then she almost dropped her food and tried to break several artifacts around coach's house. Coach's husband does sculpture stuff on the side, so the house is filled with sculptures. It's crazy coz a lot of them are nudes... >_> Haha! If she had broken one of the many sculptures of a butt, a gluteus maximus, if you will, it would have had a butt crack.

Yes, I laugh at my own jokes.

The food was awesome, the night was a blast, and come August next year, I'm going to miss getting hyped up for races on Saturday.

Next week is the championships and like I said, I'm not going to be racing in it. T_T But, I'll be there in spirit coz next weekend is the ACT...T_T I have to score a 25-28 on the science part and get a 10/12 on the writing part. That should solidify my application.

Scholarship Gala Color Guard practice. Have to learn how to use the damn rifle in two weeks.

Model UN Mondays and Thursdays after school from 2:45-3:25.

Piano lessons on Thursday from 7:00-7:30.

Civil Air Patrol on Fridays from 6:00-9:00.

So, no new updates for a while. Maybe when there's a four day break (I think there's one in October...) I'll update Youso and Red 21. I started doodling some character profiles of Dmitri in Physics. And I've got this odd addiction of drawing Isaak x Rebecca pics, *despite* the fact that a) they never become a couple in the novel, and b) certain characters don't make it to the end of the novel! Ugh...curse my romantic mind.

I've got a squad leader job, which basically means it's my duty to train new cadets to go on to the next stage. And today, paired up with Kai from Kam, I think I--we--did a pretty good job with teaching our cadets drill. It got irritating when the upper staff kept walking around and asking us what we were doing. It takes time to teach cadets drill movements--and they're not going to be perfect the first time around.

I will not tolerate the type of slack there was last year. So they're going to learn the drill movements, and they're going to do them properlly. No more of this "oh, it's good enough," bull shit of which I hate.

So, now I'm gonna start my homework and down my Coke--hoping to God there's enough caffiene in the drink to keep me awake long enough to finish. I don't think I have a lot tonight....

Hey--keep your eyes peeled for my FMA fic which I'm working on. It's gonna be tight!

Oh...and Red. I've hit a dead end and can't recover. And I'm busy like hell so I'm prolly not gonna get around to updating any of it....or drawing any new stuff. Though I seriously think I need to stop drawing--my work is hideous. T_T

Youso...maybe I'll actually write something this weekend. Hopefully, if nothing abnormal pops up on Sunday.

So on this site, among others, I'd heard a lot about this anime called: "Full Metal Alchemist." And I saw a couple clips on YouTube...

...and I'm totally hooked. I love the characters and the plot line. It's wonderful, great, absolutely can't get enough of it. In fact, I just watched 13 episodes straight (why I'm still up @ 1:30 in the morning.) I don't want to sleep, but I must before my daddy gets mad at me. What's really good about Full Metal is, unlike Naruto, it's a pretty short story line. Now, while Naruto looks pretty intersting, it's a bit too long (like Inuyasha). So FMA is a series complete and as far as I know, it's pretty short.

So that's my new obsession. ^_^ I still would like to know how Mr. Roy Mustang, who looks no older than twenty? Twenty-six max? I want to know how he's a colonel. Seriously, wtfh people? haha. But they got a twelve year old runnin' around wtih the big kids, so it's all good. Mustang is badass and Edward is just simply adorable. And Alphonse is soooo cute! Haha. Bad fan girl, bad! *beats inner fan girl*

Red 21? I should have more stuff up soon. I'm working on the character profiles now. Uh...Isaak's arm never wants to get drawn. T^T

Youso? Uh...Kazu's got a tablet, so comics may be up soon. Oh! But I should probbaly draw my character out for ya, huh? Welp, maybe later.

Developed my style a bit more. Started to make my hideous figures look more like human beings. Thought I was doing pretty good.
But I wasn't.
I've tried anime and have failed miserably. So I made my own drawing style. A little more realistic than anime. Thought I was doing well.
But I wasn't.
So now I'm going to try something else. I'm going to try that really really cartoony style. Maybe I'll find some refuge there. But then again, I tried a bit last night and they suck.
Ah...maybe I should just stick to writing. >.> It kinda saddens me.
All I want is to be able to draw my Red 21 (the Russia Story) characters and my Youso character (singular). That's about...eight to ten characters. That's it. That's all I want. Maybe from there I can turn Red 21 into a psuedo comic book thingy. *gazes into far future* Yeah. I think that'd be a fun project. Last thing I do as a senior before I go off and join the military.

Oh yes. The loveable land which has brought the world vodka and way to many problems to even begin to count, has now attacked my brain! Ahh! Get the KGB out of my head!!!! DX

Well, anyway. I'm trying to work on a comic, key word here is "trying." At this moment of time, it's a few frames with a story line on it. It's a fast-passed...thing, in whence our main character, Dmitri, has provoked an old rival, now a cop. Dmitri has challeneged whether or not this cop would be able to understand what Dmitri does as a proffession, which, in a nutshell is to overthrow the Russian government with the help of Americans and Brits. Haha. Good stuff. Now that the cop has been pressured into finding out what exactly this former classmate does for a job, a can-o-worms open, as Dmitri now has to play dirty to keep his secret. And of course, this all has to happen as he and his collegues are inches away from finding Russia's weak point, ready to strike up a rebellion even the Bolshieviks couldn't dream of!

It's a story of Action! Drama! Romance! (yes, Dmitri has a lady friend and I'm still wondering about the cop....) And it's comin' to a computer near you! Haha. Hope you enjoy!
