Also of note, I'm considering trying to do commissions again, but seeing as I'm pretty much a nobody on dA, I've got about a palm tree's chance in Siberia of being seen. 1) I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, but my first character came about in second grade. If you've gone through the disgusting filth that is my old work, you've probably seen Tyrone (and maybe Bullzock) a few times in my gallery.

2) I drew a bunch of comics back around that time too, as well as come up with new characters. My dickhead classmates used to make fun of me for doing so.

3) Nearly all of my work is self-taught and original creations for the most part. It was these same dickheads that thought that because they could draw Bugs Bunny as a gangsta they automatically had more skill and creativity with a pencil than I could.

4) I've been working on my style since around 7th grade. At first, I copied and borrowed styles from friends of mine as well as other places. I went through about three or four style changes before I settled on one. I look at my drawings from back then (managing not to vomit) and I notice there's a little Hanna-Barbera influence in it. I've taken on a more anime-influenced style these days, but I can somehow, some way still see the Hanna-Barbera in my characters.

5) I've just been pulling influences from everywhere. My biggest influence as of late has been Megatokyo. Not because of the art style, but because of the fact that a guy from Michigan could make a popular webcomic just doing pencilwork. This was why I took the route I did with RyuFox Legends and opted not to ink any of it, including the fact that I suck at inking.

6) Again, all I use these days are pencils. Back before I understood the magic of Photoshop, I used to color with colored pencils and markers. And it was nice...and juvenile. Then when I started working on RyuFox Legends, I started thinking I needed every drawing pencil under the sun to make a good comic. I later found out that I could get the same desired effect with a #2 pencil. However, since then, I've gone from wooden pencils to mechanicals.

7) People automatically think that because they like my anime-influenced style, that I should automatically be able to draw photorealistic human beings. This flawed theory has been proven false time and time again.

8) Also, many assholes tend to believe that because I draw with my preferred anime-influenced style that I must be some kind of anime-humping freak. Again, this is wrong, and those bigots need to throw their asses off a cliff. I'm not particularly fond of anime these days, though I have to admit, my girlfriend's tastes in anime are really on point, because she's found several good ones that I've drawn inspiration from as of late.

9) I usually draw whatever comes to mind. It's through this that I've come up with (at best) only three or four new characters in the past eight or so months. When I want to make a new character, I usually end up drawing one of my old ones.

10) I usually go straight to drawing the final image. No poses, models, etc. When I absolutely need a model, I go and find a body reference on the internet and work from there.

"What the hell," I think to myself, "It's fucking 4 AM."

I ignore the calls a couple of times...then I decide to answer one of them. They're coming from a company called CDYNE. Apparently, some kid wants a copy of RFLegends. That's all fine and well.

I ask for names and everything, he gives a name. He goes as far as asking why HE has to BUY a copy of RFLegends. Uh...I'm not necessarily drawing the books for charity. I'm drawing RyuFox Legends for the fun of it, but if I can score some cash on the side with the use of a developed skill, why not, right?

Apparently, this guy supposedly knows me on the internet. He says, "I thought you were cool, but I guess you're not." He's pissed off because he isn't getting a free copy of RFLegends. Oh well, no biggie.

For the next thirty minutes, I'm getting a steady stream of phone calls through this CDYNE service. I get pissed off to the point where I actually turn it off. I'm not answering the phone but I'm certainly not going to keep listening to the damn thing ring this early in the morning.

About an hour or so later, I turn the phone back on, and I'm greeted by several incriminating messages.

One is from a "concerned parent" who wants me to take RFLegends off the shelves and stop writing the series because their kids somehow imitated some of the violence in the book and injured each other. This "concerned parent" also went as far as saying this all happened because of this "piece of trash comic" I bought for their "son". Wow, someone's holding quite a grudge there.

I get two more messages saying I won't sleep tonight. Damn right I won't sleep tonight, you fucking woke me up at 4 in the morning, jackass. How the hell will I get back to sleep now?

I have no idea what the flying hell is going on, but at least I've gotten an IP out of this

The good news is, I've turned 21, my friend, bought me a 3-month subscription (I totally owe you for this, Rage), I had McDonalds late at night (though it's not healthy), my dad called me earlier yesterday evening, and my girlfriend should be calling me sometime later this evening to wish me a happy birthday (I'm smiling just thinking about it )

Now, here's where that smile turns into the look where I want to put my foot up someone's ass: I have a test in geography this afternoon, English 1102 is much harder than I recall it being plus I have an essay due next week, and Lulu dicked all of their global distribution owners over with price changes that'll run us out of the market like cats in a dogfight. As a result, all the GD books (even RyuFox Legends) got taken off the shelf until we pay the $80 to put it back on the shelves with the revised price.

Lulu can lick my nuts. I'm not paying $80 to put it back on the shelves with the new price. They fucked up on this one.

I removed all the games from my account. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, I removed the ones that somehow managed to slip under DA's radar.

But anyway, my biggest reason for removing those was to prevent future theft of the contents inside the games (as I've been robbed blind for the last two years). Anyway, they're down now and reuploaded to another server, so I'm within DA's TOS once again. Go me.

Jesus Christ, how many of you people are gonna bitch about the size of Kitsune's sword? I worked days on the sprite and all I hear anyone complain about is the fact that the sword is so fuckin' huge.

Is it really that big a deal? 1) It's my character, I can make the sword as big as a tree if I wanted to and 2) Kitsune's sword is supposed to be that large.

You people need to shut the hell up whining about the size of the sword and move on. When you make your characters, you can make the sword the size of a pencil for all I care. But quit riding on my ass about Kitsune's sword.

Well, I finally got the GDArcade thing taken care of. Now I've got a new problem. What the hell is up with people commenting only when I post ridiculous bullcrap in my gallery? I've posted like 10 or so pics I did in Photoshop and I only got about two comments on each, but when I post some crapass screen I edited in MSPaint, everyone suddenly throws a party.

What's really going on? I think the world has gone backward.

If any of you have paid attention and/or really cared within the past couple of days, I've kinda been crying wolf with the M&L2 download as it's been a bitch for me to get it working and uploaded. But now it's completely fixed (I swear!), so go get your demo copy of Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga 2!

Yes, the layout looks nice, but the interface is confusing as hell! No wonder no one can do shit on their pages!
