okay, everyone is soo happy over Obama being declared president (and so am i) but this completely brought me down.

they passed proposition 8....i cant BELIEVE it passed! We were making such progress, and now, THIS?!?!

prop 8 was the ban on gay marriage in the state of california, fyi. I heard about it, but i figured that because they made same-sex marriages legal in june....but now this.

Thankfully, marriages already done with are still legal (for NOW at least)

Guys, wev'e gone through this at least 2 times before. Once with Black Rights, and once with Women Rights. And ill be damned to see this one fail.
Argue all you want, but that IS what this is. This is OUR generation's civil rights movement. And its just wrong to deny the same rights to gays as to everyone else.

sorry for the rant, but this is just one thing that really gets underneath my skin. Please tell mr what you think and if you agree.

Elephant Man. My first show. My first speaking role. My LIFE since August 25. and its gone, done, just like that.

It was the most incredible experience of my life so far. I was so proud of the show, and its over......but sweet jesus it was SOOO worth it!!!!!!!!!!!

i have OFFICIALLY caught the theater bug!!!!!!!! And i wallowed today, (after all, this show was my baby) but im done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOW......ONTO THE WHIZ AUDITIONS! COUNTDOWN = 22 DAYS!!!!!

okay, i do not have time to BREATH right now. Its effing rediculous! I am in the first production of the year at my school
9it is called THE ELEPHANT MAN) and im a semi-lead in the production (i have lines, and a very significant scene)

on top of all that excitement -for gods sake, i got it out of 8 upperclassmen girls that are REALLY REALLY good- its my first production ever. I mean my FIRST. Like, im a virgin actor (okay that came out wrong... ) which is virtually unheard of in the theater department. And we open on THURSDAY. And i mean THIS thursday. so i had a rehersal until 10;30 last night, which was all light cues....soooo boring. and i went in for 4 hours today to learn how to do old-person stage makeup...... and next week is going to be the worst yet. I can just feel it in my bones.

plus, the stage has multiple levels, and in my scene i see the elephant man (a grossly disfigured -but still brilliant and kind hearted-man that the play is about) and run in terror down a flight of stairs.

let me give you a little math equation...
Chloe + stairs + running / high heels = mortification in front of a whole theater of people
........people are putting bets on how bad i beef it.

but in light of all that, I love theater dearly and i am a lot closer to my cast, and i truly am starting to feel loved and part of the department. Even though i feel so fatigued and sick of rehersal until its dark out, i want to keep doing it for a long time.

im not angsty, im quite happy, actually. My mood thing's not working...

i just rewatched Mulan after a long time.And i had forgoten about my first husband. And that would be Ling. I was in love with him when i was little because all the other princes seemed so boring. My mom raised me to really believe that a boy's personality is more important than his face(and might i say well done mom?) and ling was....well...Ling.

and i also rewatched Lion King 2 and Lilo and Stitch (which made me cry, as always)

to tell the truth, i cant believe how tormented im feeling. Avatar has been in my life since i was in the 6th grade, but i never expected to be so sad.....

but as AnimantX said in his brilliant journal, this isnt the end, but the beginning....SO ENOGH PITY-PARTING ON MY PART!!!!!!!!!

ok, my friend michelle ( [link] ) and i were talking last night during a commercial break about what was going to happen in the epic-ness that was "Sozin's Comet". I said that i had a bad feeling that someone BIG was going to die, like Sokka (for i would be crushed inside if he did).

She said -and i quote- "I dunno....i think zuko's going to die for some wierd reason. Or Aang"

just then the show came back on, and what happens? Well....Zuko gets "killed" by Azula's lightning and Aang gets "killed" by the fire lord.

bad news

oh my god oh my effing god...

i just got the worst news ever today...

my mom is sending me to boarding school.

..........

she says that she thinks i am doing drugs and having sex. she swears she's caught me sneaking in, and that she doesnt trust me anymore.

it all has to do with last night.

my friend (i wont say his name) knocks at my window at 9 friggen o clock. He was TOTALLY sloshed out of his mind and he knocks on my window and starts going on and on about how hes always liked me and such and how georgeous i am.
i doubt this cause i was currently wearing no makeup and my hair was all smushed and poofy. So being the reasonable person i am, i pretty much go, "what the hell are you DOING here???" then he just looks at me with the stupidist grin, and leans over and trys to kiss me.

i have never been kissed, and i wasnt gonna start with a drunk friend i barly knew last year. so i jerked back and he fell forward and we ended up in an....awkward position when my mom came in. she saw him on top of me and smelled alchohol, so she flipped out and threw him out and started packing my bgs.

i am leaving wednesday for california, where im going to stay with realitives until next year where my mom will enrol me in some boot camp-boarding school.

your probably wondering why im so calm. ive cried enough already, and i feel nothing now.

okay, the following is a rant...

ive failed this test in french, like, twice, and my teacher let me retake it today at lunch. And after i found out i only got THREE right. it was out of ten, sure, but still, THREE???? so i was like, all sad anyway.

so, my mom picks me up from school, saying that she got an e-mail from mr H that i cheated on my exam.

ok, WHAT?????????

first off, i dont cheat. i just DONT. sure im lazy, and gluttoness, and lie sometimes, but i dont cheat. ever.

second, in the chance i DID cheat, dont you think i would have gotten a better grade???????

it hurt because mr hoffman said he trusted me, and hes one of my favorite teachers, so now i dont think he respects or trusts me anymore.

im angry and depressed.

have you ever been so tierd that you start thinking about random things? Like your mind is in a haze?
Well, i was in English, listening the teacher tell us a story out loud, and i was supposed to be reading along, but i wasnt. Instead i was thinking about disney characters. Oh no, not the characters themselves, just how the whole wide world of disney is sort of screwed up

Ill analyze Whinnie the Pooh first.
Ok, im not even kidding, they all have some kind of problems. Im serious! a friend brought it up, and i totally agree with her. Ill make a list.

Eyore: Ok easiest example, no contest. depression, plain and simple. seriously, that donkey needs some zoloft.

Rabbit: OCD about cleaning. Oh, and im pretty sure hes in a sexual identity crises.

Whinnie: A serious addiction to honey. Can anyone say 'Betty Ford'?

Tigger: Another easy example. ADD. Or ADHD. and his lisp too.

Owl: He has like no social skills. Hes up there with his books all day, every day.AND hes a complete snob.

Piglet: Phobia of EVERYTHING

Kanga: Ethier widower, divorcey, or had a deadbeat boyfriend. Ethier way, shes a single mother with relationship issues who has separation anxiety from roo.

something is very very wrong here...

i looked up pictures of Chogi a minute ago. heactually is one of my FAVORITE characters, i like him just because i relate to him.
(also, he actually is cute when he does his jutsu to become skinny, but i like him ethier way)

Oh My Fricken GAWD!!! the funniest damn thing happened!

ok, i was driving to dance class (well, technically, my MOM was driving since i cant get my permit until next year) and i look up, and....the guy's licence plate in front of me said, i kid you not...

i found myself muffling my slight laughter with my arm. my mom asked what was so funny, and i said that it was nothing. i mean, it was slightly humorous, but not THAT funny..

i swear on Yondaime's grave that this is true... not 2 minutes later, a car pulled in front of us that had THIS licence plate..

i couldnt controll myself, and i was laughing so hard that i almost split in half.

i then tried 2 explain to my mom how fuuny/ironic it was because seme and uke are clssifications to determine in relationships who's the dominet one, and determining the nicknme (ex: Gaanaru or Narugaa) in manga and anime, especially with same-gender couples, and how it was ironic because right after i saw the license plate that had SEME on it, i saw the one with UKE...but i think it was lost on her because when i turned to her again, her face was totally blank.

thats a problem cause my mother's face in NEVER blank.

have you ever had something happen 2 u, that u thought meant sonething bigger, higher...like a premonition or something???

Well, on friday, something happened 2 me. Something that got me thinking on a spiritual level, or something.

strangely enough, this didnt envole out-of-body experiences or meditating near a babbling brook....

it happened in a k-mart parking lot.

Now before u start laughing, im totally being serious, and quite frankly... being this mellow frightens me.(since i usually act like i just snorted 20 pixie sticks...but I degress...)

im auditioning for CATZ at my school, and in the audition, we need 2 sing a song from said musical.

so, my mom takes me 2 kmart 2 get the CD, but the parking lot is JAMM PACKED, so she drops me off at the curb so she can find a parking spot.

only... its that curb BEFORE the entrance, so its like another little street u have to cross before u get to the door. (oh, i dont know if im making any sense, so please bear w/ me)

So, im going to run across the little street, and im halfway there when i hear a long (and VERY loud) honk to the left of me. i turn to look, and i see a SUV barraling at about 40 mpr toward me.

I pannick but im frozen, quite literally, like a deer in the headlights. the person slams on there brakes at the last minute, and stops (not even joking) about a foot away from me.

i was totally frozen and after getting after the complete horror, ran like a terrified squirrel into the store, where my knees buckled under me, and i had to babble to myself to keep from fainting.

Maybe to someone else, this sounds like nothing. but i really do feel like right then, it was very very possible that i was supposed to die, and it was dumb luck that the lady in the SUV put on her brakes at the last minute. but, i may just be over reacting.

And now, frankly, knowing the fact that my number just might have been up that day in the k-mart parking lot.... ive gotton a wake-up call.

lately, ive been wrapped up in negativity and such, that i really havent taken a good look around me, enjoyed life.

so now im going to tell every one of my friends tomorrow that i love them, and give them a huge hug.

its funny how looking in the face of death (or maybe being just SERIOUSLY injured) can open up someones eyes.

Its cool cause , as basically everyone knows, Las Vegas is snuggled in in the FREAKIN BLAZIN HOT DESERT!!!! so, all the rides stay cool in the summer, and warm in the winter. (yes, contrary to popular belief, it DOES get cold in the desert)

anyhoo, around halloween every year, theres this thing called the fright dome. its basically circus circus, exept its :at night, all the rides are pitch black, there are 7 haunted houses, its foggy walking around, and REALLY good actors as creepy things like bloody doctors and punk clowns (dont laugh, YOU would have been scared 2) creep up behind you and scare you. it was so freakin fun!!!! I went with my best friends. they are x0xkarix0x and pina-colada. (who needs to get a deviantart. YES, im talkin 2 YOU!!!)

Funny story. ok, so, its like 10:00 and were standing in line to get food. And ive had a long week, and my sugar rush was wearing off, and i was starting to get veeeerryy sllleeepppyy. x0xkarix0x says somrthing 2 me that i think has something 2 do with soda. of course i aggree forcefully. it probably came out like, "yeah..sure, sounds great *yawn*" so im noddind off, that is untill i hear a verry creepy, husky voice say in my ear"sleeeepy???" I jump, oh i dont know, 10 feet in the air and scream at the top of my lungs. theres this fat dirty clown in front of me. Waaay 2 close to my face. he says"u shouldnt fall asleep waiting for snacks. its.....DANGEROUS" the look on my face must be funny, because he laughs evilily and honks a horn in my ear. He leaves, and my friends are laughing hysterically. Apparently, x0xkarix0x had asked me if i wanted her to get somone to wake me up. not if i wanted soda. that earned both of the an impromptu smack upside the head. *sigh* good times, goood times.

Oops, apparently i was supposed 2 set the table. OOOOh yay!!! were having CHINA A GO GO!! er.. yah. now my dad is asking me what im doing. i just told him im on deviantart and ill be there in a sec.

He just asked what deviantart is.

Ok im more tierd right now than ive been in a long time... i ushered for my school last night and it took a lot out of me.... i got home @ 10:00 and i STUPIDLY didnt do my hw bfore so, i got 2 bed at around 12:30. oh, and i wake up at around 4:00 every god-forsaken morning! *sigh* anyway, other than the fatigue, it was really fun! it was challenging because we had a full house and 40 extra people that were challenging because thy wanted 2 get in. But b4 the show, 1 of the guys was playing songs on the sound system, and suddenly, he changed it 2 Avenue Q songs.(btw Avenue Q is a broadway musical w/ real people and puppets. sort of like an adulterated version of Sesame Street) Anyway... he put it on the song "if u were gay" and he started mouthing the lyrics. it was already funny, but then another guy got on stage and started playing the other guy's part and acting it out and stuff, omfg it was sooooooo funny!!!
By the way... my schol is the wildly renowned LAS VEGAS ACADEMY SCHOOL OF INTERNATIONAL STUDIES, PREFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS!!!! those of u who dont know this school, its a magnet school thats really famous for all of the stuff we do. its a highschool for all the art freaks, theatergeeks and banddweebs in the las vegas area. it has 2 be the best school for outcasts with talent in the country, if not the world... and im a theater major!! any way bai bai 4 now!

O M F G *sqeeeeee!!!!* ok... i should probably explain my joy. up until recently, i

was a diehard gaalee fangirl. Many of my friends are diehard gaanaru

fangirls. so obviously there was some tension..and arguing, and

debating and progectile fights(dont ask...) finally, just to please my

friends, i told them that id check out gaanaru. id hate it...but ill do it

just 4 them. Well i checked it out and O M F G (like i said @ the

beginning) i love it!!!!!!! I am now a diehard gaanaru fangirl!!!! but
