The computer is so sluggish, it took me 30 minutes to get to this journal update page. Ain't that a bitch?

Anyway, my mom will be losing her job within the next year so we're going to have to live on my dad's paycheck until she can get a new one or until she retires(2 years). So it's up to me to earn money while I'm in school.

I need more commissions. I need them BAD. However, I can't go back to those dirtcheap commissions I did a few months ago because it drove me crazy. So please guys, can you spread the word about my commissions? I still have quite a few to do so it'll be quite a while before I get to new ones.

I just need some help.

Anyways. I'm flat broke now cause of the trip and I got myself a nice ipod classic with 80gigs (my poor wallet). Other than that, I had a really great time. I met my art idols/friends/heroes there along with some cool cosplayers. (Captain falcon guy was AWESOME)

Spending time at my bf's house was really cool too. That house makes me feel so poor cause it's all clean and stuff. He says they're not rich (even though they have lawn workers and a cleaning lady). Yeah, uh huh. Either way, I had fun. <3

My bf will be here for the next month with me and it'll be great. :>

I've been doing really well lately though. ;v; I'm trying to improve on anatomy a little (meaning I'm trying to get my girly men to look manly) and it's slowly working out. School's a bitch as usual, but I'm working through it. Just gotta keep on keepin' on. Been rather clingy to my friends lately too. I luff thems.

Oh! And I'll be at comicon this year. (Woah really? You're on the east coast! Why are you going to California?!) DeeHedgehog: The note told my brother to do it, so I didn't bother with it. So she proceeds to call me lazy and tells me how useless I am. My brother gets home and I thank him sarcastically for making me have to listen to my mom's bitching. -He- never gets yelled at for not taking the initiative.
DeeHedgehog: I'm my mom's only fucking target here and I'm sick of it.
DeeHedgehog: Right now, my mom's at that point where she's talking to someone in a room where I'm in and she makes little comments that I can hear that are directly referred to me. She knows I'll get upset and fuss so she yells at me saying that she was just saying and not directing anything towards me.

Okay. Was I wrong to be upset? Was I wrong to feel bad about myself when my mom chooses to yell at me rather than the person who had -all day- to do something she asked? She got home an -hour- after I did. :/

1. In the cold, I put my stomach fat on my hands to keep them warm. ;~;

2. I can -not- look at someone dead in the eye when I talk to them. It's.. creepy..

3. I tend to narrate what's going on when I drive when my friends are in the car.

4. I like to sing different parts of broadway music. Usually, it's comical broadway.

5. I have no shame in adjusting my bra in public.

6. I set my best friend Josh on a pedestal every time I'm around him. I constantly compliment him, do things for him, and I feel horrible when he yells or fusses at me.

So yeah. I'm really busy working on senior project stuff and rping with some buddies. I'll probably start sketching some more stuff though because that sketch has really got me wanting to doodle. XD

Anyways.. um.. How are the holidays for you? Mine's goin' okay, minus the senior project junk. But it's all cool. It'll be done by the 19th, and my Christmas will be stress free~

I'm probably gonna do little sketchies for some close friends, but that's really all I have time for.. Sorry guys, but it's hard. ;~; And in February, I may start doing commissions for real since I'll be 18 and allowed to have a checking account. ~_~

I am currently in a long distance relationship. I have been for two years and ten months. Now.. a friend of mine the other was stressing me about how I could handle life without having contact with him. I thought about it, and honestly, I don't know.

I've been thinking about my life.. and it kinda hurts. Today, I went to a weekly meeting that some friends and I go to. But.. Josh was driving and his boyfriend was in the passenger seat. I was in the back. I just sat back there and watched them talk and I felt kinda bad because they have someone they can be near. I don't have that. All I have is a phone call and an IM. It really saddens me that I have to be satisfied with just that.

I really do love him, but I don't know if I can go on like this. It's really been depressing me and I just want it to stop..

Also, while my friend Cammy was spending the night over the weekend, I heard her talking to someone from school on the phone. She told him that she was staying over at my house. She paused for a minute after that and the one thing she said that stuck out was "You can't say somebody is ugly." .. Ouch.

I was almost to the point where I liked my appearance. But eh. Now that it's dropped down once again, I dunno if I can stand back up on my feet. It hurts when people talk about you when you're right there. I guess it means that they also talk about me when my back is turned. Whatever.

I'll stop being emo now. K?

Oh yeah. I'm still working on pictures that I really need to buckle down and get done.

Apparently, TD died due to being allergic to a pain killer during surgery he was going through. There -better- be some justice behind this.

TD was one of my best friends. I can't believe he's gone now.

1) The character Wynter has rounded eyes like mine, yet they're tall and a bit rectuangular like hers. I mixed in both our styles.

2) She did the background on the Wynters pic and she redid the coloring on the picture of Ves and Dee. So, most of those pictures were done by her.

I'm royally pissed about how people are treated on this website. What the fuck, do people actually have nothing better to do in their lives than to rant and bitch about other people's artstyles and preferences? Who the HELL do you think you are that gives you the right to put down other people because of what YOU want?

I usually don't rant about stupid shit like this, but I'm getting to the point where I can't help it. If you don't like someone's work, then don't fucking look at it. How the fuck does it help anyone if all you're gonna do is fucking whine about how 'unoriginal' or 'cartoony' or what the fuck ever you bitch about? Think people.

Yeah, yeah, I sound like a fan that's trying to protect their friends. Whatever. Anyone who is being flamed for whatever reason shouldn't be. Why the hell can't people keep their negative opinions to themselves? And if it's the so called 'constructive criticism', why the fuck is it so hard to say it in a way that's doesn't insult?
