But, yeaaah...I did a short contract position for a small newspaper in my area (thanks sooo much to Kasumi for getting me that gig, every little bit helps ), but the problem is, I won't get the check from that til October 1st, and my car insurance has already sorta claimed it >.> I really need new shoes before that The ones I have are 2+ years old and the fact that they just started ripping now is a miracle (but I'm nice to my shoes ).

I'm now taking preorders for MatsuriCon~! Urd-chan and I will be there, in Artist Alley, at our pink table-clothed table like usual >.> But, with that said, I will be taking preorders up until August 20th! I'll be printing stuff out on the 21st.

OTAKON PREORDER INFORMATION

Well, like usual, I'll be at Otakon coming up July 17th-19th. As of yet, I do NOT have an Artist Alley table, but that does not however mean you have to miss a chance to get some art. So, please place your orders with me via note on here or e-mail, and I'll get them ready to go before the con. You MUST pay in advance! Also, if you have it, please provide a cell phone number so we can work out meeting up. I will be dressed as Albel (Star Ocean 3) on Friday, Nami Skypeia version (One Piece) on Saturday, and Nami Enies Lobby version (One Piece) on Sunday. There should also be a Luffy cosplayer with me each of those days, pretty much matching my costume. I will also give you my cell number when you place an order, so it can be sure to get picked up.

Volume 2 of Zos Kias is now available! Unfortunately, I won't have any of them directly done for ACen, though I'll have a copy on hand if ya wanna see it. My test copy just came in today...*shakes head* I went through though and set it all up for sale. Sorry, it's a slightly different size than the first edition of volume 1, and it's a bit more pricy, but volume 1 will be rereleased under the same format when I sell outta my stock. Alright, I need some beta testers for the first portion of my senior project. Basically, it's a Zos Kias flash game, in the style of a Japanese simulation. Anyone who would like to test it out will basically be looking for any mistakes still in it, and then also filling out a short questionaire so that I can get their opinion on it. Currently, only the game itself is done (not the gallery section or the sound are installed yet). I want to work the kinks out at this stage before I go any further.

Well, there is some good news and some bad news! The good news is that thanks to the money I made at YoumaCon and the fact that I saved so much on my car, I was able to preorder KoR~! It comes out Nov 11 (no dah), just in time for my birthday I also get new tires this weekend, too. And, I have two more commissions still to finish (they were offsite) and I commissioned a girl to draw Megumi and Ryouga for me, my first art of them~! I'm pretty happy right now.

There IS a bad side though...so, last Monday, I went in and had to have blood drawn so that they could get me tested to see if I matched my father (he needs a bone marrow transplant cause the chemo isn't working for him anymore). Well, first they tried my left arm and they couldn't get the vein, but after a shooting pain, they decided to do my right arm instead. Well, my arm is STILL hurting from that. I have such limited movement right now. I went to the doctor's yesterday, and guess what the doctor said...>.> He basically told me they "irritated" (ie, punctured) some of my muscles and nerves in the area, and just to keep it warm and bear with it. My mother and I decided though that if it doesn't get better in a few days, we are gonna go and talk to them again and possibly go see a different doctor. I use my left arm for a lot, so it's really troublesome. It's hard to drive and even shower >< Bah!

But aside from that...XD I'm pretty happy, ahahha~! As long as I don't move my arm too much, I'm great!

Alright, back from Geekkon where we did surprisingly well in regards to AA but, there is also some other news...for all of you who didn't know, Ohkami Mineko's new work Strawberry Palace started in Wings this month. Well, I got it and started translating it in cahoots with PROJECT Kurai Ryu but we need an editor! If you're interested, please let me know~! It's a pretty interesting story ^^ There's also anotehr new PKR project by another already famous mangaka, but since I wanna surprise a good friend of mine who watches my DA page, that will remain a secret til it gets uploaded this weekend ^.- (already translated and scanned, Urd-chan is editing it right now, lol, but it's loooong)

Dudes, I'm back. Miss me? Too tired for anything else...so , who got my 50k kiriban, anyways?

Well, it's official XD I'm heading back to Japan for a month. I'll be leaving the 24th (this Tuesday) and be getting back the morning of July 21st. Last year, I didn't have much internet connection, so I'm not expecting it this year, either. So, chances are, I'll be inactive for this upcoming month. Well, I want to thank everyone for wishing me a happy birthday and making sure I was alright after my car got hit (on my bday, go figure >.>. But, Alviss ended up getting totaled ;_; I didn't get enough from insurance on him, though I did manage to buy a new Alviss (still a 98 eclipse, red, lol), but now I'm even more broke than before >.> I'll be out of my job over xmas break too. Part of me is looking forward to it though for the sake of relaxing...it's been a crazy month >.>

Weee~! I leave for Japan next Saturday...Waku waku suru ne~! I'm sooo excited, and soo nervous! I've already started packing things...and making a list of allt he souvenoirs I need to bring back..ahaha XD but, I've got a few thigns to finish up still before I go...

So, today was sooo much fun! I went up to Chicago with ~Sakura85 to meet with *madmen ....FINALLY! XD We did a lot of walkign and wandering, but it was lots of fun and I was so excited I got to meet her X3 I also got to take a peek through her sketchbook! hee hee XD She'll be sharing tables with ~Ranefea at ACen, so i think it will be prety cool! X3

And, on anotehr totally random note...I did a pin-up for a webcomic called America Jr. Very amusing, read it if you haven't! Well, it's this weekend's pinup! Okay, so I'm really REALLY excited right now..XD But, Ushicon got in contact with me a while back and wanted me to submit something, so I submitted my princess tu tu pic: [link] and then a letter in Japanese, and then Sakura submitted two of her cosplay pics of her as Tutu and Ahiru. But anywyas, here is the response from Itoh-sensei after she got back to Japan and got the scrapbook at the con. The first part I'm not copying into this cause it's for all the contributor's but I'm floating on air:

Thank you very much for the illustration, picture and message in Japanese. I really appreciate your long support from 2004 up to now. I'm also so glad to hear that you liked all characters. Is Shaina-san in the picture younger sister? Does "Forty Forte" mean Odile's Grand Fouette' en tournant? I think it's a very difficult technique, but I hope you would try it someday in the future. Cosplay of Tutu and Ahiru. Your poses are very beautiful as you learn ballet. Ahiru is cute also! Her smile is lovely. I have no opportunity to draw ballet illustrations after I finished jobs regarding Tutu, but I want to draw ballet pose very much when I see those cosplayers and I'm spurred on that. The layout of Fawn-san's Pas de Deux illustration of Tutu & Mythos is excellent! The supporting Mythos facial expression is soft, calm and gentle, on the contrary the tense atmosphere surrounding Tutu's strained muscle, those fusion makes the illustration finished good. I guess you're good at synthesizing with the fantastic background."

back from Jafax...and so tired I have no idea how I'ms till awake! @_@ but, we did better than I had thought we would at our table~! My loveless print in both sizes went over the best of my stuff~! but my Death note lil print sold out O.O surprised meh actually I really didn't sell too mcuh print wise by myself...but himecchi and my collab black cat pic went well overall ^^ twas on cups, big and small rpints! hee hee! as far as my cups went...both designs 2 and 4 sold out..really wuickly O.O in fact..so quickly...they were there for about only the first 3 hours or so of our table O.o but, now I know what to make more of! lol~! One of the thigns that surprised meh most was that the first visor to sell (yes, I made visors XD) sold within the first hour of us setting up and was Sora from KH! O.O that one was made at the spur of the moment! while Sakura was listing off different charcters, she saw my Sukisho! cup and made the comment "well, if Sora was more well known..." and then I thought OMG! KH! even though I knew what she meatn heh. I sold several visors though so I'm happy! my happiest moment though..? I got my first commission ! So, I'm off to work~! X3 mwa ha ha~! thanks ya all for supporting my art and any of you who bought for buying it~!

Beyond the Dancing Flames
In a world of magic, the land has fallen to chaos and war. At the head of the chaos ride the Dragon and Phoenix empires, mercilessly fighting over conrtol of the land. The war has laster far too long, but the end is near. The Dragon is about to stumble. In a desperate attempt to avoid their eminent defeat, they reach out to find a replacement for their heir, a young desert boy named Shima. 6 weird things about me :

I .- I absolutely love head accessories..XD So, I wear a Naruto headband and am often mistaken for a narutard (and called Naruto-chan by the japanese peeps up at Mitsuwa) but I'm not actually THAT big into Naruto...I lvoe it, but I'm not obsessed O.o Currently, I'm actually wearing a bandana (and got called Winry earlier )

II.- A lot of B'z songs make meh cry...I loooove their stuff, especially their ballads, and even though the words are more hopeful than anything...I still get choked up

III.- Riko I lived for more than a year but passed away about a year ago...but sicne I'm strange..he's still withered away up on my piano O.o I got a Riko II, but I don't intend to bury the first til I get a cowboy hat for him X3 hee hee.

IV.- I name things..everything! my slippers are Ryosuke and keisuke III, my PS2 is Momiji, my GC is Chrno, dog cage Tenka, big tv Zeus, car Shuichi, and tons of notebooks! but, it does help meh remeber...I spent a lot of the morning yesterday looking for Ed cause I thought he had the sequel to my novel in him (i started writing that before I finished my first XD ) but then I saw Sasuke and realized it was in him..XD hee hee.

V.- My longest story I ever written was with my friend Satori...and it was about 3 notebooks long plus tons of looseleaf O.o and some of it was written in gel pen..>.> but anyways, it was all about an insane dog and his cat caretaker (who dispappeared later just cause XD) and his trip into space O.o it was soo random and written in 4th and 5th grade..my persnal fave part was the spanish singing dogs who could only say "We're not a , we're dogs in spanish!" The end of everything.. "el perro in espanol~!" XD hee hee.

VI.- hm..one more...I'm just an all around strange person..but let meh try to think of one more..oh! I've got two...I have some of the strangest jokes with my friends XD one is that I'm a man whore (male prostitue) named Zazie on weekends (i used to have a sheepdog named Vashi-puu, too XD ) and the other is that my brain is a little boy in a puppy dog suit named Jounouchi (remember the duel against Otogi in YuGiOh...? XD lol~!) and he likes to take coffee breaks...but he doesn't drink coffee XD he just makes it! we have lots of weird things like that XD he ehee.

Okay, well I did a little more work on nanashi and doroshi, but it was ut on hold when out of the blue, today in Biology, the guiy next to me asked me if I could draw a pictrue of him and his boyfriend anime style ^^.
