Hmm lets put it this way it all started last year after a long road trip to Chicago. It was decided that we'd do another trip this year and set things in motion to go to Florida so we could ya know see Disney and stuff. So it was decided then that's what we were gonna do then some friends couldn't go there were changes to places we'd go up until earlier this week when I realized that at the last idea that was a quick tour of Nova Scotia for a few places would actually be almost the same cost as going to Florida like we had originally planned. So now me and my buddy are DRIVING to Florida for an Anime Convention!! Sooo tomorrow we leave after maybe 3 days of planning for a 4000 KM drive each way. Ah soo much fun to be had

So now I'm just gonna save for my vacation this summer *Which is on thin ice now* Not only did we loose one friend that was going with us the other two now might not be able to go which means it might be a complete bust! DAMN!! No Disney for me this year and no meeting of My City of Heroes friends. It sucks right.

Oh well I'll just have to see how things run out now. Wish me luck!! I'll need it.

I still can't draw much though. Every time I try it seems like the thought of what I'm about to draw goes away and I can't seem to do anything. It really sucks. Though a lot of the stuff I think of I don't have the skills to draw yet either. hell even the pic that I drew and posted wasn't quite what it was supposed to look like but it does look alright. Well I suppose I'll figure out some way of getting myself back into it eventually.

I also just realized that this is worse than I really figured. Now I have to use the money that I've been saving for a trip this coming summer to go towards my computer. Which also puts me behind in being prepared for the trip to the US. Now I have to be extra frugal (as if I wasn't before ) the rest of the year just to be able to have money to take the trip. Oh man when it Rains it pours!

OK I'll need to explain that won't I. The story is from the AD&D campaign I'm running for them. Each character in the story is each of their characters that they play. THe game has been running for well over a year now and I decided to write the adventure from the point of view of one of the NPC's ( Umm Non Player Character for those who haven't read it previously ) The NPC is a Gnome with a tendancy to draw and write down almost everything he sees and does. It's basically a journal of the adventure. Unfourtunately I'm having problems chapterizing it at this point. I'm not totally sure how long I should make them and if I can easily seperate what I have now into chapters. It's a little aggrivating. Eventually I hope to make a little web page with chapters of the story with some illustrations in it. That's not going to be easy. It was too bad one of the people that went was sick for most of the time but hey you can't have everything perfect. But it was close. About the only bad things that happened were that I lost my sunglasses and my friend being sick. She recovered fast which was good.

I actually sat down and drew once on the weekend. It turned out pretty good but it's not complete yet either. I still am trying to get the hands drawn on him. Yea you read right him. It's actually my first male character and it looks half decent. I'll post it here when I actually finish it. I soooooo hate drawing hands. They're always a pain to get done. But I will get them done.

I actually have been wanting to write for a long time and now was a good chance to start doing it again. But the worse thing about writing is now I want to add illustrations to the story and they're difficult ones to do. Well difficult for me. I'm not exactly a pro here. I'm far from it. Now I know I've been drawing for 2 and a half years but in that time I really haven't done a whole lot. Maybe 75 pics all together. So I can hardly be considered a pro at this.

Back to the writing. It's a long story from an AD&D ( Advanced Dungeons and Dragons ) adventure that I've been running for almost a year and a half now. It's been a long game but really fun that's one of the reasons I'm writing it. Besides when I added a new NPC ( That's a Non Player Character for those who don't know. ) that had a tendancy to write in a journal all the time, I got the idea to write the story from his point of view. I thought it would be an interesting way to go about looking at the other players from a newcommers point of view. The big problem with it now is getting threw the long history that the players have gone threw over the last while. It's all in their point of view and commented on by the Gnomish NPC that is listening to it all. The big thing now is also trying to make it into chapters that make sense. I've got a few ideas for that so I may start editing it for that.

I really want to get some illustrations for this story though. I've had a lot of pictures pop into my head as I've been writing and it's really bad when you can't draw what you see in your mind. Also when the NPC tends to sketch a lot in his journal so he can keep remembering his adventure and you want to add his take on people and things it kinda makes it hard.
