We also went to Macau for two days and one night with my extended family (aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, et cetera.) It's pretty much like a Las Vegas but in Asia. Lots of hotels with casinos and stuff. It's only about an hour away from Hong Kong. The hotel we stayed in was the Hard Rock Hotel, which is like the cafe, but in hotel forme. It was really nice, but the service wasn't that great. You know how when you ask for something, they come annoyingly quick? (Well for me it's annoying.) The people came like half an hour later...

So back in Hong Kong, I met up with ~normallyabnormal and we went to Ocean Park! I've been there before but it was ~normallyabnormal's first time. There was a typhoon recently (which sounds really horrible, but it's just a lot of heavy rain.) so they closed pretty much all the rides. It was made up for in the end, though. There was this temporary thing to promote Ice Age 2, and it was all prehistoric themed. There was this pit and they sprayed foamy bubbles into it. You pretty much just slip around and throw bubbles at each other. Sounds stupid, but it's actually really fun. There was also this area with fountains and sprinklers to get wet because Hong Kong is really hot and humid and you feel sticky. We spent like an hour there.

You know for my AP Art homework we have to draw a page for every letter of the alphabet? (Well you probably don't know...) Anyway, my uncle spent a long time trying to think of things that wouldn't involve drawing like air and stuff. I can put up the list later, I don't have it right now. Yeah, my uncle is odd like that.

Recently, there's this Vacation Bible School at my church that I'm a helper in. There isn't much we do, but I am so tired after the day is done. Man those kids wear me out! We're also planning a Graduation Banquet for the people graduating (no duh!). There's a skit and we sing songs and stuff. It's been slightly stressful because ~normallyabnormal, ~writingfreak93, and I are all working on the decorations and there's so much we have planned... the banquet's on Friday so wish me luck!

Hey all! So yesterday we took a flight to... Hong Kong! (As the title implies.) So today my sister and I came to work with my parents and uncle and grandpa. We (My sister and I) are going to walk around and look at the shops and stuff. I love shopping here in Hong Kong. Everything's a pretty good price if you know where to look. And the stuff is cute too! (Hee hee.) Anyway, we're going to leave the office soon, and the battery is low on this laptop, so goodbye for now! I probably won't update as much as when I was in Japan. We don't do much here.

Yep yep, we walked around Shinjuku today. Not much stuff happened really, we just walked around and looked at the stuff in the stores. Well my uncle had told my dad about this music store, and my dad thought he said it was in Shinjuku, so we were walking all around looking for it. But it turned out that it was in a place about two hours away or something. My sister and I were disappointed. But that's okay, we had tempura for lunch, at the same place we ate when we came here last. We got asparagus tempura, but it was so expensive... Who knew? Anyway, we came back to Shibuya and ate dinner at the same Korean barbeque place as yesterday... Yeah, it was really THAT good. So now I'm packing, because we're leaving tomorrow, and I'm sad we couldn't stay longer, but at least we got to come here! So I'll let you know what's going on later today! See ya!

As the title implies, today we walked around Shibuya (Where our hotel is) and Harajuku. First we went to Tokyu Hands, a department store kinda thing... They had an art section, where they sold lots and lots of Copics! I didn't get any though. They also sold screentones which I wanted a lot but I don't really know how to use them anyway and my dad didn't let me get any so it doesn't really matter anyway. I did get these highlighters, but here's the catch: they're not flourescent. So pretty much they're light coloured markers. But still cool. After, we went to Uni Qlo, a store that I really like. They sell basic clothing in like 50 different colours. I'm a very basic kinda person, so that's why I like Uni Qlo so much. It was already lunch after (Well we walked around a lot but I can't really remember) so my dad went to eat noodles and the rest of us went to eat omlette rice. It's rice in an omlette with ketchup. It was really good. Then my brother and father went back to the hotel to drop off the stuff we bought. The rest of us went to this small side shop and I got these arm warmer thingys. They're really cool, but my parents don't understand why I like it. So we all went back to the hotel and rested for a bit, and then we headed out to Harajuku! We walked around but first we went to Kiddy Land, where they sold all kinds of toys and other cute little things. Then we went to the 100 Yen store (100 Yen is about equivalent to 1 US Dollar) and went crazy. But the things are still of good quality even though it's only 1 dollar. We just bought a bunch of random stuff and candy and whatnot. Then we walked around some more, and I bought a pair of Puma sneakers which were on sale. I really like them a lot and I can't wait to wear them! After we went to pick something up for my uncle at the MoMA store, which is kinda weird because the MoMA is in NYC. They had all kinds of modern artsy things in there (Not to mention expensive!). So after that we came back to the hotel and rested a bit before going out to dinner. We ate at this Korean barbeque, it was so good! We all just kept eating and eating. After, we went to HMV (A music store that sells CDs, DVDs, et cetera). I got a book with the tabs to songs by Nightmare (My favourite band at the moment). Not all the songs though, but a lot of the songs on there I want to play! I also got a CD by Last Alliance called Me and Your Borderline. I also really like Last Alliance. Their songs are pretty awesome. So now we're back at the hotel, and I'm still jet-lagged so I'm going to sleep now. Good night!

Japan! Yep, and I’m really excited! It took a while to get here, a long plane ride of 12.5 hours! It’s been a while since I’ve been here (Check one of my first journals...). We arrived pretty late in the afternoon, so we didn’t do much today. We walked around the area our hotel is, which is Shibuya (Yes, where The World Ends With You takes place). We even passed by the 104 Building in The World Ends With You, except it’s called the 109 Building. Haha. We found a nice small place where we ate ramen for dinner. They had this machine where you put in money and order your food on the machine like it was a vending machine. Then a ticket came out and you had to give it to the waiter dude so he could give it to the chef people to cook. It was pretty cool. I’ve never seen anything like it before. After that, we just walked around some more and looked at stuff. Now we’re back at the hotel. I’d like to put this up for y’all, but there’s something wrong with the internet. So I’m just typing it out before I forget. I’ll copy-paste when I get the chance. Anyway, I’m really excited to just walk around and buy stuff! We’re not spending much time here (Only 3.5 days and 4 nights) so I have to soak up as much as I can. Well, I’m going to go to sleep now… I’m so jetlagged.

Anyway, that was my journal for yesterday.

Sunday, 7/19/09, 8:38 P.M. (Local Time)

Today, we walked around a lot. First we ate breakfast at McDonald's (How ironic). Then we went to see a life-sized Gundam! It was pretty cool, it moved it's head around and spurted smoke. It was in honour of 30 years of Gundam or something. I got a Gundam t-shirt. After, there was a mall nearby so we walked around and there was a Jump Shop (Jump, as in Shounen Jump)! It was really awesome, and there was all kinds of merchandise. I got another t-shirt with these Naruto chibis on it, it's pretty cute. There was also this Akamaru stuffed animal, and my brother and I both wanted it! But my parents wouldn't let us. It was so cute and soft and fuzzy! Then we went back to around where McDonald's was (Ginza, I think?) and we walked around there. We had shabu-shabu for lunch, it was pretty good. We also went to this super-giant Muji, and bought more stuff... Then we went to this market place, because we needed to buy this horse oil(?) for my baby cousin. They also had this Hokkiaido ice cream, apparently the best ice cream in Japan or something... it was pretty good. There were only two flavours though. Milk and melon. I got the milk flavour and my sister got the melon flavour and then we shared with everyone. The milk one tasted like... milk. And I didn't taste the melon one, I don't like fruit flavoured ice cream. After, we went to shabu-shabu for dinner again... my dad really likes it. And now we're back at the hotel. My sister just came out of the shower, so I have to go now. Bye!

Today I went to the town pool with ~daydreamingh, ~normallyabnormal, and some other friends. It was pretty fun, but I saw all these other people from school and that totally freaked me out. After, we went to ~daydreamingh's house and watched a movie... Shanghai Knight I think it was? Anyway, Jackie Chan was in it and it was okay. All of this was to celebrate ~daydreamingh's birthday which in two weeks or so. So after all of this, I went over to ~normallyabnormal's house where we played This Sims.

If you don't know, The Sims is a simulation game where you can build houses and create people and control their lives.

Anyway, so I love this game and it's really addicting... and we played in a house and family that ~normallyabnormal already made (well there's only one person), a bachelorette named Dolly Lama (haha).

So first we changed her profession to pickpocketer (it was advertised in the newspaper!) and it was really funny as she got promoted and stuff to con man and whatnot.

But that's not the best part, this is (man I still laugh thinking about it). First we made Dolly a player and she had relationships with these three brothers Jesse Guys, George Guys (they're twins), and Nicky Guys. And then we got Dolly to marry Jesse Guys. But then, ~normallyabnormal was like, let's make him jealous. So we fenced him out in the front lawn with no escape with a fridge and a shower, and had Dolly invite George over to their house. We had them hug and kiss and stuff, but when we did that Jesse was sleeping on the grass or something. And we were like, "this isn't working!" But then, we made Dolly propose and HE ACCEPTED. Haha, it was great. And then we fenced him with his twin brother outside. Because Jesse's needs weren't really satisfied when he was fenced out there, he was very irritable. Meaning, Jesse and George started getting really angry and fighting and yelling at each other. So much that George divorced Dolly. So now George is fenced in, but he's a guest and guests in this game are not allowed to help themselves to the fridge. SO HE DIED. FROM STARVATION. Man, we were laughing so hard it hurt. I know it's mean, but, y'know... yeah. So we were like, okay, let's try and get the last brother (Nicky) to marry Dolly. But he was so particular and moody and rejected Dolly's proposals so we just gave up on him. After that, we let Jesse go, but then I had to leave. So yeah, that was my fantastic adventure.

Our next goal is to make them have kids. Heh heh heh...

So, how are you doing? I pulled my first all-nighter on the July 4th weekend! I was at a church retreat, and it was awesome! Yeah, I was against two of my other friends and I got second place! Not bad, but I'm going to win next year... The dude who got first place stayed up for 39.5 hours, I stayed up for 37.5 hours, and the last place... I don't remember. He fell asleep way earlier before us, haha.

Anyway, once again, please tell me how you're doing! I really don't put up journals or artwork that much, so there isn't that much communication.

Oh yeah, I will be leaving next week Friday on vacation, so I don't know how much I can be online. But if I can, I will! I'll give you reports from my secret locations (I will disclose them when I'm actually there. Or when I come back.).

Anyway, so how are you doing? It's ALMOST summer, I have to keep reminding myself. This week, next week, finals, then it's over! I really really really can't wait to sleep in. So what are you going to do over the summer? I have some traveling and stuff and I can't wait! But that won't be until late July.

Yeah, I probably should be doing my homework... actually I want to take a nap but then I'd probably wake up at one o'clock or something. The teachers are really piling in the projects and unnecessary work, and I somehow have to bring in a sample of bacteria tomorrow for bio. How am I supposed to do that? I mean it's all over the place, but you can't see it. Okay, sorry, I'm just rambling. Well, best of luck to all you people going through the tough end-of-school workload.

... I haven't been on in a while... before spring break I was just lazy, and during spring break I was on vacation. so yeah. oh yeah, on friday, I fell asleep at 6 pm, and then somehow I slept through the whole night and woke up a 6:30. 12 hours. and then I couldn't fall back asleep for a while, and I thought about nerf guns and DDR. then I did fall back asleep, and I woke up at 8:15 'cause I had to go to chinese school. yes, I go to chinese school. yeah, that's all for now... until next time. AND WHY DO YOU HAVE SO MANY JOURNAL ENTRIES ? every time I log in there are at least 5 from you. just wondering.
