My life has been kinda hectic the last few months. Not only have I been living in one of the most (or maybe THE most) fantastic cities in the world, but I have also been studying a lot. AND working my ass of to get into a photography school in Oslo. And guess what? I did it! I'll be moving to Oslo very soon, I'm talking about a couple of months or maybe even sooner. Depends on when I'll get an apartment! Anyway, I'm very exited to finally start on my education. Hopefully I'll get good on this, so that I can work and live of my passion.

Oh, and btw - I'm going to use the summer to practice (with my new lovely Nikon D300 bought at B&H New York - amazing store!), so hopefully I'll manage to post some more new stuff here soon!

But the whole deal costs a lot of money, so even though I earned a lot on the boat, I'm broke now. But still... I want a new camera so fucking badly! My good old D50 has been a good friend for many years, but then again... it has 6 mega pixels, so has my mobile phone's camera. And if I get in to the school I want to attend next fall, I'll need at least 8. And there is so many other things with the D50 that just don't work for me anymore. I hope I'll find a solution to my problem soon.

I'll try to shoot more and submit more. I have been very bad on the photography the last months! I shot a new self-portrait yesterday, and even though it's not stunning or anything, it felt good just to use the camera again

School is out (ended early in may actually) and the vacation has been a very exciting period in my life. I have been out travelling across Europe for 5 weeks. It was really amazing!

When I got home several nice suprises was waiting for me. One of my pictures taken at last years Storås Festival made the front page picture of this years festial news paper. Kind of fun (especially since I did'nt reconize it at first ^^) I also got a request from a writer to shoot two front page pictures for her new poetry books.
One of the pictures is a new and improved verson of Closure, wich can be viewed in my gallery.

Also feeling creative at the moment. The teachers no longer give us any art assignments at school (despite the fact that I'm actually in an art class!), so I've started to paint at home even though I don't really have the time. Working on a painting now, but you will most likely never get the chance to see it, because I'm very sensitive to criticism when it comes to my paintings. I guess it's easier for me to hide behind the camera.

I'm also going to decide which school I'm going to attend next year this week. It's a hard choise to make, because it's so many good schools around the country. I'm really looking forward to next year, to get some proper education in photography, and to travel to new parts of the world.

But before that I'm going to see Gogol Bordello at the Storås Festival in Norway this july! I'm happyhappyhappy <3

Also got to mention that the last times I've been out drinking, it has been the best times ever. Prom in Meråker and Bulwark+Bloody Heels at UFFA, and not to forget all the late nights at 3B with my lovely friends. Tomorrow it's new years eve, and I'm going to spend it with some close friends. Since I'm very allergic to animals, it's not to good for my health to spend time inside the stable brushing hairy horses and shuffeling dirt and dusty sawdust.. So I have gotten sick.
I thought getting some air would do me good, so today I've been wisiting the horses I usually ride (islandics). They are so cute, and I love them all very much. I have also taken my own horse (an arabian mare) for a walk, and taken some pictures. I hope to submit some of them very soon
