Melodies… Lyrics… These are what make a song. It supposed to be full of feeling, but what words could express them… My feelings… I can hear them buried in my heart, and yet I cannot write them down. Why do I sing? Why do I want to be with them? Why is it so important to me? Why…?

OPENING SCENE - TAISUKE'S BEDROOM

Taisuke lies in bed, staring at the ceiling with a blank expression across his face. The back of his hand is over his forehead as he is lost in his thoughts.

-Taisuke-
It's morning already…?

Taisuke glances to his night post with tired eyes where a pile of music sheets lay beside his alarm clock.

-Taisuke-
Oh yeah… My brother is dragging me into another music session. Damn, Tatsuya…!

Taisuke gets out of bed and senselessly gazed at the floor.

-Taisuke-
Tch, why can't he find someone else to do his dirty work?

Taisuke begins to change his clothes. The music sheets beside his bed catches his eye once again.

-Taisuke-
Why do I bother…? Why do I even bother putting up with this every week? Chiksou!

A/N: Chiksou means 'damn it' in Japanese. It just sounds better than using the English equivalent.
Taisuke leaves his room incredibly furious with his head lowered.

SCENE 01 - SUGIYAMA RESIDENCE - LIVING ROOM

Taisuke enters the living room, seeing Tatsuya lay back in the sofa. Tatsuya notice his little brother's presence and gestured to him.

-Tatsuya-
'Sup, sleepyhead!

Tatsuya gives a happy grin to Taisuke as he stood up. Taisuke turns his head to the side, ignoring his brother.

-Taisuke-
Stop smiling at me like some freakin' idiot. Let's get this stupid music session over with…

Tatsuya gives Taisuke an irritated look, rubbing the back of his head.

-Tatsuya-
Geez, what's up with that attitude of yours? And this early of the day too…!

-Taisuke-
It's because I woke up and the first thing I see every weekend is a dumbass.

Tatsuya twitches in response to Taisuke's cold insult.

-Tatsuya-
Dumbass…?!

Tatsuya becomes enraged. He shakes it off and gives another grin, disturbing Taisuke's moment of glory.

-Tatsuya-
Heh, save that energy for singing. Come on, let's go.

-Taisuke-
Fine by me… As long as you leave me alone afterwards…

-Tatsuya-
Fine, fine… Have it your way.

The two leave the apartment complex, Tatsuya locking the door from behind. Taisuke walks ahead of his brother with his hands in his pocket. Tatsuya stares at him from behind with a serious expression spread across his face.

-Tatsuya-
Taisuke, you really don't like singing, do you? Then why…? Why do you allow yourself to continue? What's going through your head, Taisuke?

SCENE 02 - SEIJUU HIGH SCHOOL - MUSIC STUDIO

-Chiharu-
Good morning, Tatsuya-san…Taisuke-kun…!

Chiharu waves to Tatsuya and Taisuke as they approach the entrance of the school's music studio. Tatsuya returns the gesture as Taisuke has an annoyed look upon his face. Taisuke notices Chiharu dressed up Visual-Kei style.

-Tatsuya-
'Morning! You're energetic today, Chiharu.

-Chiharu-
And you're all happy today, as usual.

Tatsuya and Chiharu (chibi-SD form) both smile as Taisuke stares at him, sweat-dropped.

-Taisuke-
Two guys with idiotic grins… How come that doesn't reassure me?

-Chiharu-
Ryuhei-sempai is already in the studio. Come on in so we can get started!

-Tatsuya-
Alright! Let's go!

Excited, Chiharu and Tatsuya head in the music studio first as Taisuke trails from behind.

-Taisuke-
How can they be so happy about this…? About music…? I don't understand this at all.

Taisuke enters the music studio; his face drained and depress. He notices Tatsuya and Chiharu gets prepare as Ryuhei approaches him.

-Ryuhei-
Taisuke-kun…

-Taisuke-
