Family Life and Management are pretty much in the bag as is, but I'm only just starting on Cit. in the Wold. Thankfully my friend's dad is the counselor for that particular badge so hopefully it's a piece of cake... Mmmmm cake...

On top of that, I need to build a gate/fence and a raised platform to put stuff on. That includes planning a fund raiser and going through with the project in the first place.

I'm sorry if my work gets in the way of contacting you guys so... yea... tough.

Yea, we all have our likes dislikes. Some play for the mayhem you can make, some play to create something beautiful.
Some play for the thrill, some for the story. Some make you laugh, and some make you downright burst into tears.
Some have you favorite and lovable characters, some have your mortal enemies and monsters.
Some are lighthearted and funny while others are dark and serious.
Sometimes the music is the driving force of emotion of the game, sometimes it's all about the music.

My point of all this is I've noticed a loss of story to some games.
Games of the past used to be like a storybook. THE STORY ENRAPTURED PEOPLE. That's what made them great.
But now all I'm seeing are a bunch of games that are all about pointless destruction, post-apocalyptic cities, and random killing of innocents. What I also notice is these are hardly a STORY. It's about revenge on a character or society you are thrust into at the beginning. What happened to establishing a grudge or any feeling at all?

Now lets see some prime examples of games that made me awestruck.

-The .hack// series-
Platform: Play Station/ PS2
A game and animated series that fueled the inner rage of every gamer. In .hack//G.U., the character Haseo is a self-absorbed player in a game called 'The World', obsessed with the revenge of a fellow player who was sent into a coma by illegal mods from a character called 'tri-edge'. In the end, this game had one of the most gut wrenching plot twists I've ever known. Superior animation, okay cinematics and inspiring music. Two thumbs up. Hope they still make an import for Wii.

-Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles series-
Platform: Game Cube/ Nintendo DS
A most breath taking game series involving beautiful design and graphics, soothing music that pulls at your heartstrings, and a journey of epic proportions. A complete lack of character development leaves creating your character's attitude entirely up to yourself. By the end, you realize it's you yourself who has developed. You untimely make the world you live in. In spite of impossible odds, each year your character becomes stronger and more confident in the road ahead. A self written story of courage. This game never got the credit it should have gotten, thank the gods Crystal Bearers is in the works to back 'em up. One of the other games, Echoes of Time also deserves an honorable mention for it's supporting characters and plot development. The game's platform might be for Nintendo DS but the story's ending made me burst into tears! That's the power of a solid story... or I'm just a sucker...

-Shadow of the Colossus-
Platform: PS2
Much like a mix of Crystal Chronicles and Legend of Zelda blended together, this game itself was waaay ahead of it's time.
Stunning graphic design, heartbreaking music, and one impossible mission. Slaying the 16 giant creatures that lay hidden in the forbidden land. In my opinion, they should make a friggin' move about this. The environment is what made the game the award winner it is. The massive expanse of land that is open to you is an astounding example of of why the game was so critically acclaimed and hailed as an absolutely beautiful game. Yet again, they need to make an import for Wii on this one for sure or I'm going to start choking people.

-Megaman Zero series-
Platform: GBA
Although this game's main platform is the GBA, that didn't stop Capcom and Nintendo from giving us the redemption story of a lifetime. At the beginning of your journey to the end of world, Zero's legendary exploits (more like yours) inspire all the people he meets. Zero might seem a little coldhearted on the outside, but on the inside he's always trying to save as many people as he can however insecure he might feel about his mission. Smart gameplay and rockin' music make this series one-of-a-kind. Yet again, another game that made me tear up! SUCH EPIC-NESS!

Alright, I don't want to bore you any further.
I know I'm forgetting some honorable games here...
Well you guys can continue this then. Put up games that deserve an honorable mention and all the aspects that make it GREAT.
Remember, some storys can change your life, these story have struck a chord with me.
Don't take my word for it, go play these games yourselves!

Disappearing with no communication for that long is tough...

Deep inside I feel as if I've become more in touch with myself, as if I have tapped into a new source of energy. Oddly enough I feel almost powerful in spite of the exhausting state I'm in.

Okay, enough of that...
Today I came across a small crystal I found amongst some of my old belongings. I had the brilliant idea of crafting it into a necklace. It took me almost all day but with a few of my father's tools and some jeweler's glue, I completed the crystal's chain. It looks like a prop from Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles!

A few days before school got out, I was walking with buddy in the school parking lot. Suddenly, I beak away 'cuz I thought I saw something odd on the ground.
"What the? A wallet!?"
Sure enough, someone had dropped their wallet! I took a quick trip to the front office to turn it in. They asked for my name and ID, so I wrote it down and left.
This is the awesome part.
The next day during my science final, the office rang me up to see the admin. office lady person... thing...
She handed me an envelope and said it was a letter from the mother of the guy who lost the wallet.
I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST GONNA BE A NICE THANK YOU CARD BUT NOOOOOOO WAY...

The letter starts out...

Kevin,
Your honesty is an amazing trait. You are a very nice young man & my son is grateful all his GRADUATION MONEY was still there. My son is ----------- & he is autistic. What a great lesson on being a good man you have shown him. Please accept this small gift as a huge thank you! I know your parents are proud of you!

In other news...
I got a haircut today! It's a bit shorter than usual but just as fluffy as always.

Anyone out there ever play a game called Shadow of the Colossus? I recently ran across it in a YouTube movie I saw and I'm... baffled by it. Immediately I looked for the soundtrack and managed to get a few pieces of it. Absolutely breathtaking... This game looks amazing... Too bad it's a PS2 game, or I'd look for it myself at Bust-A-Game or something. I must play this game!!

I've started my online driver's-ed course today. It's seems pretty easy to me. Some questions are harder than others. At least they let you re-take it if you fail at it. So far, I haven't failed even once! I hope all goes well!

As for Project Re:Mastered, I'm working as much as I can to get at least the first game done before school is out. This game is no easy task! If someone knows how to get cheats for me, much appreciated! It would help me so much to speed things up a bit!

Why has my life recently turned so blank recently? Every day for like, the past month was somewhat... dull...
It's almost as if I'm missing some interaction with the world in a way. I'm not looking for any sympathy either, because I know already perhaps what people would ask me. Life has become... predictable... and I hate it. It bothers me how every day is just like the others in terms of what little or how much something happens. It's not depressing just... not right. I'm under the impression that I'm not living or taking action. It's very puzzling...

I kinda see why they put an easy mode in later games...
It's hard work but I've started to try dubbing in voices and things are looking great.
Of course, I still need to re-install Adobe Premiere Pro, but that's not problem as long as I back up all my super valuable files.

While I was out hiking, father went and attempted to re-install the Operating System.
In the process, the ONLY thing he managed to do, was delete a MONTH'S worth of data.
You guessed it... My entire enemy database for Rockman Zero is gone. Thank goodness I backed up the entire remixed soundtrack on my Fuze.
In short, project Re:Mastered is in need of repairs... big time...
The video program, Adobe Premiere Pro has also disappeared into thin air... My only way to properly capture my videos... Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I suddenly though to myself, "There never was an English dub version of Rockman Zero"
(here in America, we know him as Megaman Zero)
So, why not make one??? I got all the tracks from the the very beginning to end.
All I need is captured video of parts of the game, a complete script from the game,(I'll be able to write it by hand or type it) a few hours of free editing time and YOU!
Thats right, YOU! I might not know enough people alone who are willing to commit to the time and dedication for recording scripts.

I need some help with someone who knows how to capture (record) video from a GBA emulator for a computer. Share the knowledge yo! =3

Obviously hes a guy, some kinda reploid sword-wielding dude...
He's got elemental powers that range to dominion over the wind and the power to control certain properties of levitation and magnetism so he can throw his weapons and objects around him. Being of reploid nature, he is some form of MegaMan. If you've ever played Megaman ZX or ZXA, you get the basic idea he can megamerge with the power of Biometal, probably with Model K.
I'm thinking of a design for his Biometal as I write this...
and..... That's all I have at this time.

I woke up extra early today to get a head start on a news clip for the BBN (our school news) and worked tirelessly to get it done before the end of 5th period. In short, I failed at the last possible moment...
I spent all afternoon the previous day filming the girl's water polo game and almost missed that too because I forgot the tape to my camera!
So this week's mission status: Failed...
Well, I just tuned on some music to calm the nerves...
