Hello Devart.

its been almost a year since i updated this thing. everything around me has changed but i have not. I go to college now, and i live in a different place. luckily my drawings skills have improved somewhat.

were on the fast track to th it list. i wish. I'd argue were more on the way to becoming disappointed with our own short comings. i haven't allot to say here. really. maybe just that i plan to draw more, make my drawings better and worship Imagec0rrupt3d. shes the best!

hello deviant art. i like to draw. it kills time and produces something i can almost be proud of. i like to draw in pre-calculus. i hate that class. i also hate when people dont call me which is all the time.

prom is 5 days away and i dont have a date, been rejected several times. and the one girl i want to ask more then anything in the whole world absolutely despises me . and my eye itches. i guess its not so bad. i will go with some people i enjoy and i will ask some girls to dance and in the end it will be bearable

good lord CCR is the greatest band ever. why are they soo good? i dont know. CCR CCR CCR CCR CCR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank god there are things like ccr in this world

OLOL insert Rant space Here </title <Body> <h1> LOL Deviant Art Journal LOL </h1> okay so i haven't updated this journal thing in a while so i figure now i s a good time. I just posted a SS of my interface which is pretty decent compared to the crap Ive seen out there on curse gaming... people with like a million raid bars and such. I hate it when people mod off the original blizzard bars and insert a million addon and cant see there screen any more. I wanted nothing to do with my interface and have it smooth and elegant. You can see the Perl unit frames really add a nice touch to the whole thing along with the improved mini map called clean mini map. I also go the ct bars from the ct mod which is my most highly recommended mod. Apparently people in my guild really like this vendetta mod. Probably because there all DPS warriors and don't know when they pull agro. Any ways i got that and its really cool. Lots of boss timer mods and it works seamlessly. Ive noticed a general improvement in my average FPS since i got it. I don't know if it has anything to do with that or if i just updated the right driver. Oh hopefully this rant is some what legible. I wrote it in my open office program so i could use the spell checker and stuff. I feel a certain awe about it. As if man and machine have become one entity and are going together among server to blow the holy hell out of each other's brains. You have to hear and experience it you have to live it. It has become my life for the past month. Since I opened the Half-Life 2 box on Christmas day. You have to marvel at something that can keep one occupied for so long. I feel as if it is proportional to how much time the creators spent working on it and developing new engines and such. The job of a computer programmer is really never done. Because the audience is so incredibly vast you can never create the perfect game. And due to a specific type of audience (particularly the hackers) you're going to have to update and keep on the edge so that the game can stay fair enough. As well with the next edition or installment of each game once you finish one version technology has improved again once more to enable better graphics and such to keep you occupied for the next one. I myself have become quite aware of the task at hand after downloading the Source SDK tools and construction sets. I am now able to create maps of my own and develop new concepts in the world of counter-strike. Sitting in a dark room only seeing by the reflected light from my case and the white glow of the monitor I can waste several hours in front of my computer trying to build the perfect map. I loose track of time as if I were lost in a cave. But in a way I am, I am lost in a cave of technology where I see faint glimmers of the perfect map and the perfect idea or concept. These ideas or concepts are the light leading my way out of the Source SDK cave. I will never know them however because I am far too new at the construction of games and programming in general. When I say "perfect map" what does this imply? How is one multi player map different from another? Why does every one play the Blood Gulch and remember the awesome wart hog flips they did while playing a game of multi player Halo. What makes Halo so great? The Master Chief runs like a sloth and turns like the hands of a clock. But these very elements combined create one of the most awesome gaming experiences of a lifetime. I believe that the greatness of a game comes from the users interpretation. By this I mean it isnt the programmers fault if people think its a bad game it is the person. I say this because in the game the person really only controls one element and that IS the controls. Some games work because you feel a certain connection with the game as if there is no controller in the way, like Halo. When I have played halo in the past the energy literally flow from my mind in to the console. I was never very good but there was no resistance from the controller. When I moved just the right amount... I saw the Chief's gun move across the screen precisely as I intended it. I rarely was so pissed at the game I wanted to smash the controller for insulting my gaming skills. Not like I have done in so many other games. I used to get so mad at Grand Theft Auto because of its weak controls. And SCREW ALL RPG'S because there is absolutely nothing their except controllers. The entire game is base on picking move and selecting things, like shifting through files on your computer. It was the most inane thing I have ever done. I hate Final Fantasy so much it hurts. I really only drew those pictures because I thought about the game more than I played it. I had to convince my self I like to play it and that I liked to use the stupid turn based fighting. After I realized I really couldn't use controllers for console games at all. I happened to stop by my friend Kyle's house. He had just purchased a new Dell computer and a copy of Unreal Tournament 2003. While he punched away at buttons on his PS2, I tried out this interesting game. I was immediately thrown back by the incredible speed of the game. I soon learned proper controlling techniques of the mouse and keyboard. After about an hour I got to the rank of "Newbie" but the experience would change my perception a games for a lifetime. Almost a year later I finally purchased my very own gaming computer in September of 2004. I had to play Red faction at first because I dont have any games but I wasnt complaining. The mouse was not a stick and the keyboard although buttons worked for some reason. There was absolutely no resistance what so ever. There were so many buttons but I knew them all. I have started drawing again (mainly because I am not so lazy anymore) I just finished a really nice picture of this girl that goes to my churchI would like to add a background but I cant seem to find anything thats fits well enough to match the style of the picture. I might post it some time soon if I get a hold of my friends scanner. But I dont know My new computer is coming soon sometime(well actually I dont know). I have quite a bit of money saved up (over $400). But I have soon since decided to hold back and wait until my birthday is over in order to get the most out of it. I plan to spend a little over $500 instead of the original planned $450. It all depends on what is on special when I go to Frys. If I really feel special and consistent of monetary goodness I might even get a new monitor and speakers. Oh yeah and a cool keyboard so I can 937 |\/|3y3 l337 G4|\/|3 0|\|. I want to be Able to play ALL ZE GAMEZ which is more of an anti-metaphor for what I really plan on. Mainly Unreal Tournament and Halo will be my top choices. In reality I dont knows what I want to get but apart from the games my computer will be well equipped for any thing I want to run on. One of the main reasons for getting this computer is that I have had nothing but utter crap for all my previous systems. I still remember the old days of my Pentium 133mhz and its incredible lagging capabilities. I remember the feeble days where I once had to restart to shutdown. I soon destroyed it after my futile attempt to over clock it. The next system was not much of an improvement. Still a Pentium but this time at a death defying 150mhz incased in the most insufficient of machines a laptop (which I still have). This raged machine even too small to type on served my purpose for only a month until I couldnt even stand to look at it. I think the most I ever accomplished on it was a game of solitaire in 160 seconds. I had brought it to school on a few occasions and was what I gave my final power point presentation for world geography on. Unfortunately it could not even last to do that as it cut off the last two slides and moved my grade down 8 points. I never imagined that computers made mistakes and syntax errors even in their own language until I go my laptop. After the terrors of the crap top I recently inherited a newly challenged piece of machinery that I am currently typing to you on. The 266 as I like to call it is exactly what it sounds. 266mhz of mind bending speed I often say. I do not consider the least adequate for the tasks in which I peruse with it. With only the power of a low Pentium 2 and 98 MB of memory I cannot seem to be able to run Adobe Illustrator and the Internet at the same time. Or Photo shop none the less, I find its ATI rage pro 8 MB ill equipped to process 3d rendering or the least some quality Photo shop digital material. I built this one myself and it only cost me $15. BAMM! and now with my wallet busting at the seems with over $600...the OMG!!! WTF!!! FINAL THIS IS THE END DATE!!! for my computer is on september 19 2004 And now through the perils of computer history I present to you the next step in my personal machine history (mind you it does not exist yet) BRENTS L33T COMP 1. ABIT KD7A KT400A motherboard. This one was not my first choice mainly because it looks weird and its red. I dont like red much but with the price I cant complain 2. AMD Athlon XP 2800. I was originally only going to go for the 2400 but then I figured out I actually needed to have something that communicated the worth the motherboard at 333 mhz so I opted a bit extreme so I could get extra performance... to bad though for only $200 I might be in the price range for a AMD 64 FX with 1600 FSB mhz. oh well 3. So I guess that time is now! I must over come some of what you might say lack of "rantage". Not to change the original lay out of "stuff but I guess I need to update all the things that I need and dont need...oh yeah and all the crap that I just kinda threw together. This thing is just going to get longer and longer. BUT THERES NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!! Off topic for a while last night or rather this morning I went through a rather old collection of art I made back in my crap days...well I take that back.
