I'm not going to go into details, but I have a friend that's had a bit of a rough time financially and is in need of assistance to help pay off some bills. Until further notice, I will be offering beaded jewelry commissions to raise money to help this friend. Price ranges are as follows:

Earrings: $5-15
Bracelets: $8-15
Anklets: $10-17
Necklaces: $12-30

I use primarily gemstone chip beads, as well as various shell and wooden beads. I also have access to a large selection of gemstones both raw and tumbled to wire-wrap for pendants.

Prices will vary depending on the beads used, number of strands, and (except for earrings) the type of clasp used. I will be charging a flat rate of $4 for shipping. I can accept payments by cash, check, money order, or PayPal, but be advised that if you pay by check I will not send your items until after your check clears. When your items are mailed, I will email you with the tracking number.

If you are interested, please email me at ladykaiyu@gmail.com or leave me a comment here. If you know anyone that might be interested in a commission, please feel free to pass along my email address. If anyone that reads this wants to copy and paste this entry to their own journal and/or link to this entry, please feel free. The more people that see this, the better the chances of being able to help my friend out...

Quick question: exactly what types of stuff are considered "oven safe"? I'm going to make a new sculpture (probably in a couple weeks, after my financial situation straightens out), and I already have a rough idea how I want to pose it. However, that particular pose means that I know that I'm going to have to support it in the oven so it doesn't collape while baking...hence my question

...and before anyone asks, the oven's going to be at 275 degrees fareinheit, and baking time will probably be about fifteen to twenty minutes

1) No, I haven't forgotten the origami. In fact, I have a few new pieces to take pictures of and post in the gallery. I'm planning on borrowing one of the digital cameras from the KSU prestech department, as mine absolutely HATES closerange (as you can probably tell from my last two sculptures...)

2) Speaking of the last two sculptures...I will be posting better pics of them when I post the new origami stuff.

3) The fanfics...I will be posting new chapters for both fanfics soon...at least, I'm hoping to do so. I promise, you won't see Samus at the BSL lab anymore...actually, you won't see Samus at all during the next chapter. What's going to happen? Well, I'm not saying, but I will reiterate that two certain beings should never be allowed to meet...also, the Chozo race will play a very important role in later chapters. In the Zelda fanfic, I will be introducing Hyrule as it is two years after events in Ocarina of Time in the next chapter, and will start introducing new characters, as well...however, everyone will have to wait a couple of chapters before we start getting to the really fun stuff *evil grin*

4) Back to the pics...I'm also hoping to be able to finally take a decent pic of my snowflake pendant...if I can, it'll be posted along with the other stuff

5) Yes, I've branched off yet again...this time into the world of drawing/digital painting. Heh...I know my drawings aren't that great, but I'm learning...slowly. Besides, as much as I prefer origami, drawing's a bit safer if you're sitting in the front of class...looks a little more like you're taking notes Anyway...I need to get at least one new picture scanned on Wednesday while I'm at my friend's house, and plan on getting it colored either that day or the next day, so you can expect a new picture, as well

That's all for now...heh, the entry doesn't seem that short, does it? Ah well...

However, I will have a new sculpture posted by the end of the weekend, and three new origami pics posted soon after.

One more thing...yes, I start summer term week after next...meaning you'll likely see some new stuff (mostly origami) over the summer, as I tend to do quite a bit of that during the three-hour torture sessions...er, classes....
