In the mean time, I hope to use photography to provide me an outlet among my journaling and poetry. I welcome any supportive thoughts you have and I hope everybody is doing well in their own lives.

I came up with this quote last week and it truly feels like my reality: "Death does not frighten me, only living on after those loved so dearly pass."

Life is short. People are here and then gone the next. I feel like I've squandered much of my life playing video games, fiddling on the internet and watching tv. I want to do something meaningful with my life and find purpose beyond laziness and lack of luster for life.

Truly as Spock would say, "Live long and prosper".

You know the funny thing is that me and my husband along with one other guy were the oldest people there. I think the problem is that those people at the party had no control. I at least tried to eat something before drinking and I stuck to my limits (for the most part) and drank lots of water in-between drinks. The whole get drunk thing is not appealing to me. That's for immature teeny boppers. To me I like enjoying a few drinks, yes, getting a little buzzed but doing it rarely and with people who I know are not going to take advantage of me and/or push me to do things just because they think I should. Peer pressure has taken its strike yet again I don't plan on letting it get the best of me next time.

My limit is one drink and only if I've eaten something substantial and to stick by my hubbie's side in a party where I don't know people. That may seem or rather scream "Loner!" but I'm married and if I want to hang out with somebody I'll seek them out and chat so no worries. That way in the future I don't disrespect myself and I don't have to feel bad about stuff that happened to me.

Its been a wild month with drama, hives, allergies, school related stress and boredom. Just when I thought it was safe to relax I got thrust into a drama central laced situation with a couple separating and my difficulties with my allergies and getting stuck babysitting a two-year-old who...just wears me out. Nothing against the kid, she's sweet, but honestly I don't like anything under the age of 6 because their plain annoying, disgusting, and noisy. I love kids I just don't like really young kids.

I'm still debating on whether I will continue the whole babysitting thing because frankly its just not my thing. I'd be working at the library or even at a dinner rather than watching a kid for almost 8 hours only to get 20 bucks in the end. I think its a toss up right now. I care about the couple and know their having issues but this is just too much for me.

Well aside from my whinning about the babysitting thing lol I'm doing much better than I have in a long time. Me and my husband's relationship is at a high point and it feels good. We still do have squabbles but their just little things and we don't get too invested in arguing about something small.

My cats are doing well. However my one cat managed to somehow squeeze himself out the door before bed one night. I didn't check for him and it doesn't help he's an all black cat. So the next morning around 5:45 am I hear a screechy meow and I wonder what the heck that was. My husband checked and there was Scribbles right outside the window. He was all dirty. So now I finally gave in and put on the reflective collar we got him (it has his information on a gold tag with a gold bell). We call him jiggle boy right now.

I feel bad to make him wear it because I can imagine it can get bothersome for a cat to wear it still I can't have him running out the door. I now have to check every night to make certain he's in and when I open the door I have to be careful. He use to be the type of cat that dashes out the door but I managed to curb that desire. He will still try to get out though as is evident of his late night escape.

I'm just thanking god that he's okay and didn't get run over and that we found him.

I posted a few new pictures/creations in the past week. I plan to post more pictures in the next few days. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to improve my photography because frankly I just do what feels good for my photographs. I'm thinking I might go find a book on photography. I'd really love to take a class but my college courses don't allot for it. I need to take care of the necessary classes first.

I think that is basically all that is going on right now. Hope everybody is doing well as usual and go treat yourself to something nice!

Finally got my new computer built. There is a few things missing like a better sound card, keyboard, the mouse I want and maybe another video card but all in all I think I did fairly well. I'll try and post some pictures and the specs when I get a chance in the next couple of days. Also I got my game F.E.A.R. 2. Yays!

Hmm...what else? I got a Victoria Secret Pink purse. It's a little small but I had a gift card with $20 bucks on it so that's what I got. I already have enough Lingerie and stuff from VS. It's one of the stores I like and I'm very good at finding sales. I think even if you have enough money to afford VS prices its better to go when there is a sale.

I also got a plushie pillow from Brookstone. I just love it. Hm...got two necklaces from Spencer's.

That's my extent of buying spree. I haven't done it in awhile but now I have to save again. Man that shot of Scotch-Whiskey is giving me a frontal headache. Yikes. I've never tried Scotch-Whiskey before maybe that's why... anyways lol

No I'm not drunk I swear! It was just one shot and after dinner at that. I'm a light weight heh. What couldn't tell by my photos?! lol

Well I have a google profile account now and its official it's easy to find me by typing my pen name 'Lady Valmar' into google's search engine. Whooo-Hoooo!

I don't know how or when exactly I'll make a break in acting or publishing my book but I'm determined and I know people so I hope something good happens. If nothing else I have my hubbie and some nice peeps online to chat with.

Well I'm not really sure why I'm typing any of this but I'd thought I'm over do for an update since I've been on dA a lot and posting photos often.

Well my husband had to go to the North Island Base for training for three weeks. He's still there at the moment. I ended up coming down for a short while, I would have stayed longer but we have cats and nobody to babysit them, so I came down. We ended up going to Seaworld and I had a blast.

Despite the fun I had at Seaworld and down in North Island, right now I'm dealing with some distressing skin issues.

I don't know if its something I'm coming into contact with that I'm allergic to or if its a condition like Eczema. All I know is it happens every Spring/summer and it affects the palms of my hands, the bottom of my feet, my scalp, my eyelids, my ears, my nose, my lips and sometimes a few other places but usually its just there. Typically I get inflammation, its kind of oily but it could be sweat lol, it tingles, mostly its tender but it sometimes itches and the rash looks like marble. Sometimes little red bumps form and red circles. Heat makes it worse and my nose is stuffed up. So maybe its just like a hay fever or something??

Who knows what the hell it is? I give up trying to self diagnose. I'm going to get a blood test done for allergens to see if its Pollen or pet dander (I hope I'm not allergic to my cats!). For now I'm trying to stay cool and I take Bendrayl when it bothers me too much. If the test doesn't help then its time to see a dermatologist.

Sigh...I hate Spring.

Anyways aside from the whole allergy mess I'm currently into Fallout 3 which I've been playing on and off. I'm also been getting into Photography quite a bit lately. I just enjoy taking Macro shots. I might just have to break down and save for a good camera later.

I almost forgot...at Seaworld I saw something that just blew my mind away...cats performing tricks. I knew you could train a cat but I didn't think you could train them to do so many different things! It was freaking awesome!

So now that I'm back home I might get a book and try and train my cats. Who knows...it would be cool if I could get my cat to jump through a hoop or something. If I manage to teach either one of them a trick I'll get video of it and post it on youtube I swear. lol

Well there really isn't much else to say. So I'm going to wrap up this entry. Hope all my viewers are doing okay and to those of you with seasonal allergies...trust me I feel your pain!

I ended up going to urgent care where I learned it was indeed a pulled muscle. lol Now I have vicodin, a muscle relaxant and aleve. It will get better in a week. lol Adventures and talk about crazy accidents.

Anyways there is a club called Sanrio for Sanrio characters/art. I was thrilled when I discovered such an animal. Yea so I'm a little kiddish. At least I'm having fun right? lol

And my mom has put up some pictures on her Picasa web albums of the dress I'm going to wear to my cousin's wedding. I think its quaint like a Sunday school dress. Its decent enough so I'm happy with it. Usually I'm very picky about what I wear and typically buy my own clothing but...since she got it...and I've seen what it looks like I'm okay with it.

It has recently come to my attention that MGM, SCI-FI and the producers of my ultimate favorite show "Stargate Atlantis" have decided to cancel the show in lieu of the stupid spin-off called Stargate Universe.

Help rally support to show to these big wigs that we don't want a side bar, we don't want movies we want more Seasons of Stargate Atlantis!!!

These are just two of many websites dedicated to saving our beloved show!

September 12th as it says on the bottom website is the last and final day of shooting! If you can get to Vancouver and protest outside of Bridge Studios DO IT! I would but I don't have a passport yet! SIGH!!!!! If you already live there and enjoy this show as much as me GO FOR IT!

The only reason I watched the Sci-fi channel in the first place was for Farscape then Firefly and now Stargate Atlantis. I refuse to be bought off by a spin off that will not include those main characters we love and enjoy so much on Stargate Atlantis. I was fine when S.g.1 finally went. It was time and they gave us plenty of stuff in return for a fan base.

But with SGA we aren't getting what we want. Why not leave the show running? Its gotten several awards and clearly there is a huge loyal fan base. MGM, Sci-Fi and the producers are screwing themselves over if they think we will accept a new show in place of SGA.

Unless they get their act together. I am tempted to boycott SCI-FI channel for now!

Anyways lol have you ever gotten a weird note from some non-existent deviant member or banned member saying they love your work? I just got a note from somebody who apparently is no longer a member of deviant art saying they thought my comment was hot or something and to check out their nude photographs?!

Okay I'm an adult and I can handle this kind of thing but seriously...I mean its ridculous! I know I know...I probably shouldn't have but I thought what the hell my computer has got a military version firewall and such plus all this anti-virus crap and such.

So I followed the link they sent me. I'll admit not most smartest move but I mean I was curious... So it took me to some dating site (Rated M for mature!) LOL

I just clicked off the page as it was more information than I needed. Seriously I'm sick and tired of notes like this. I mean I love a compliment but when it comes from a questionable person who is either blacklisted from dA, left dA or is on restriction I just don't know what to think.

I'm also tired of the dating advertisments I'm getting in my emails. I got one from a dA user who surprise surprise is no longer a deviant art member and the others were on my yahoo email.

Hello! I'm not interested in meeting new people to date or do it with. I'm married and while I'm happy to watch my favorite actors and check them out and fantasize...I got married for a reason because I was done with looking and fell in love.

True sometimes, as well all do, I get a little like man why did I get married anyways...but ultimately I'm happy with my choice so get lost eHarmony and those other stupid dating websites.

Sigh...

One last rant...grief sucks by the way. I'm trying to deal with the aftermath factor and all the emotions but seriously I am hating this. I don't know what is gunna happen next and everybody around me right now is a little caught up in the whirlwind that is me.

I finally caved and got a Grief guide book as silly as that sounds. Supposedly from the reviews it should help me with working through my feelings and getting back to me. I dunno it seemed ludicrous to me to even consider purchasing it but I kind of feel like I'm stuck in a runt. Like I'm just trudging through the mud.

Hopefully it will help with my situation. So for those who actually read this thing...how are all of you doing anyways? I hope well.

Other news? My cats have discovered that sticky taped windowsill and kitty paws do not mix! Heh.

I find that the week of rain we have had in CA sucks. I wish we had more rain and less sunshine. I'm not saying that caz of the grief I just love rain and thunderstorms too. Honestly! I mean sunny days gets old eventually.

I've seen a total of three rainbows this year and I have broken a cat litter box and the little plastic thingie that holds my keyboard up out of anger. Which is a new thing for me apparently...to break shit when I'm angry. lol I don't plan on making a habit but it was certainly startling.

Lastly, my husband destroyed his hard drive by partitioning it for Linux Ubuntu far too many times. So basically it won't load windows anymore and Linux is barely working. He thinks he can still get my data off his hard drive by making it a secondary or turning it into an external but who knows. The first thing I said was where is McKay when you need him? lol

Hm wait yes I think there is one more tad bit of news before I go...

Hemp lotion is made from weed or at least thats what my husband tells me. Burning marshmellows on a gas stove or fireplace and kill you from what my husband's family claims...I think its hogwash but whatever. And...to get speakers to work with my computer I had to update sound card drivers and then later video card drivers for half life 2. All in a days work I guess.

Oh yea my male cat (though neutered) thinks he needs a female so he's been yowling at every window in the house at night. Sigh...I've found clapping works or throwing a box of pennies near him also works.

So that's my news for the week, month, last year whatever. Hope you'll be so kind as to comment and remember...don't mix bad wine and Jaemefer it just doesn't work. Trust me.

I am currently reading through my novel and making grammar/spelling checks over it. My next plan is to go to PCC and see if there is anything I can find about agents there. I am currently playing Guild Wars, I am Guild leader until my husband, Tokra, can return from sea duty.

I am also getting back to reading the stack of books I've purchased. I have about 14 books I've purchased but haven't read. The stack is starting to go down.

I am planning on getting to my fanfiction I just have been busy with Medical, dental and some other stuff.

Can you believe my dentist found five cavities? Ugh... I still need to remove my two bottom wisdom teeth. They are bothering me.

So that is why I haven't done too much on any of my websites. From now on I will not be responding to thank you's for faving of any art/writing on dA. If its more than a thank you for the fav kind of thing I will try to respond. Personal notes and/or comments on art/writing will still be responded to.

I will probably not be updating this journal for a long time after this depending on what is going on. I am still continuing with my fanfiction when I can squeeze it in.

My novel is currently been put to the side until I can take care of the family and my homework.

I have a series of dark photos I will be posting in the next week I hope.

I am busy or rather trying to stay busy so I don't think about it so much. I am working on an online class, working on my novel, calling friends, hanging out with friends, watching tv and playing video games. I've also made a few projects for myself like making a furry pillow (once I finish it I'll put up photos of it), making a punch design with floss (I don't remember what the name of this thing is) and creating photo displays for our bedroom.

I plan on staying busy so I will probably be uploading photos at least a few times per week depending on my schedule. lol

By the way I would really appreciate getting feedback on this deployment or getting a good job, something like that really makes a difference in my morale.

Some things that have happened in the past month. I have since stopped playing Elder Scrolls Oblivion as my top got me into Guild Wars Nightfall heavily. Its funny kind of because I originally refused to play it. I thought it was gay and stupid and now I can't get enough of the game. I have also purchased Guild Wars Prophesay game of the year edition.

I still want to buy the collector's edition of Factions and then Eye of the North expansion but I won't get ahead of myself right now.

I will post some more GW pics when I have a chance.

Oh I have a new collar that my top loves so I will post a photo of it on dA soon. I can't think of anything else really...

Well there is Thanksgiving dinner but what can I say it was pleasant. Even though we had to ditch our Turkey for a brown sugar ham, because I didn't know you are suppose to defrost Turkey for 2-3 days prior to dinner, it was still enjoyable. It was my first time cooking Turkey...as least I didn't try to fry the Turkey on a skillet or something. LOL.

Other than that, there is little else to update on. So expect some photos soon and some new fanfiction if you are waiting for Lover Redeemed, Dreams Night Sweats and my Sheppard Darkfic 'Burden'. If you do not know what I'm talking about simply check out my fanfiction links for more information.

I would go on more but I'm planning on posting a more complete review kind of thing on Lover Unbound.

More news is Stargate Atlantis is back. I've just been so busy as of late, I didn't have a chance to write up a journal entry screaming out my joy! YAYYY YAYYYY YAYYY STARGATE ATLANTIS YAYYYYY!!! Okay all done.

Seriously I almost cried on the last episode. I won't spoil it for those of you who didn't see it. Shame on you!!! But wow is all I can say. Some things I worry about and make me grumpy - I'm totally cool with Sam being in charge because I know Weir is still on the show she just won't be a regular but as long as she's still got a job I'm happy. Hey I have low requirements for happiness so what?

However, one thing that makes me really pist is any indication that their might be some pairing hinting at Sheppard and Sam. I have to say is that flirting is a given, come on their only human but I don't want Sheppard kissing her or something like that. I'm strongly against any kind of a thing with these two. Now Rodney on the other hand... hm... I would find it more humorous than anything. So I suppose I would okay if he tried to kiss Sam. As long as they keep it realistic I'd be okay with it.

Another thing that made me grumpy was that the whole thing between John and Elizabeth felt more shippy than just friends. It could be that it was such an emotional time and they were really close as friends but it just bothered me a little. I won't say more cause I don't want to ruin it for peeps who haven't seen it yet.

Other than getting my book or seeing Stargate Atlantis eps theres not much else to talk about. More in depth stuff about my awesome weekend will be posted at Live Journal. Oh yes my husband just recently had his birthday. Yay!

Also...

I heard news that this week and next or something the people in charge of Stargate Atlantis will determine through viewers whether to keep the show going another season or to cancel it. I'm not sure where I heard this rumor but I pray and hope they keep the show going. Its the only thing I watch in earnest and am a huge fan of.

Well as for my art and fanfiction. Love Redeemed will be posted when I have time tomorrow. I've had writer's block for it among the devotion of time to my novel and of course my crazy addition to Elder Scrolls Oblivion. I'm even thinking of buying Morrowind for my laptop because I play Oblivion on my husband's (or rather our) big desktop computer.

I've even gone as far as to download mods for Oblivion such as hair, nude with pantie mod, furniture mod, some clothing mods, a keychain mod, a vampire no wrinkles mod, blood potions, a arcane summoning mod etc.

Anyways I have a bunch of new photos and one art to post. Will do probably tomorrow. Thanks for being patient and devoted visitors etc.

The sketch I planned to post is of my husband, now keep in mind its not exact and I've only drawn human beings like that once or twice. It was completely sketchy without guides like circle blurbs underneath.

I also made a colored version but it kind of came out weird. Oh well. Whatever.

I'm still working on a cg picture of Evil Althena from Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete. Its a Working Designs game on the Playstation 2 but originally it was on Sega Saturn or something.

Some other things..

Once again in case you didn't catch it in the last entry: Lover Redeemed - I'm working on it but its going to take a little longer to post because I haven't finished the end of the chapter. Why? I'm typing up chapters 5 and 6 for my novel. Its been so long since I've had such an ease to writing it that I don't want to stop yet for fanfiction. I will post LR this week or next monday/tuesday for sure regardless of my novel.

I recently finished Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer, the Turning by Armintrout and Embraced by Darkness by Keri Arthur. Whew! I pre-ordered Eclipse and Embraced by Darkness. Eclipse I finished in two days after I got it in the mail and it was the same for Embraced by Darkness. Then this past weekend I found the Turning and read through that in one day.

I'm a book monster seriously. I read through all of them too easily. Thankfully there is one series that I take slow and that's the 'Firekeeper' series by Jane Linskold. I go through it slowly and don't eat through it so quickly. As for Meyer's series I tend to read that one at least three times.

Yeah I'm a book worm so what?

Well not much else to say. Oh my birthday was fine. It will be much better when we get back to Cali and I have all my good friends for my next birthday. At least my husband was able to cheer me up and stuff.

Lover Redeemed - I'm working on it but its going to take a little longer to post because I haven't finished the end of the chapter. Why? I'm typing up chapters 5 and 6 for my novel. Its been so long since I've had such an ease to writing it that I don't want to stop yet for fanfiction.

I will post LR this week or next monday/tuesday for sure regardless of my novel.

That pretty much sums up things happening. Well since its my birthday I'm going to go play Oblivion and eat junk food. Laterz dA peeps!

I took so many photos its crazy but I only posted the key ones I thought were beautiful.

Then this last weekend we went back down to my husbandÂs grandmotherÂs house to go to a Senior Hawaiian Party which was a little cheesy but in the second half of the party a hip hop group called Capital Funk showed up and were shaking their butts and gyrating their crotches it was pretty funny to see all these old Chinese peopleÂs shocked expressions.

IÂm still debating on whether I will post the videos of the event at youtube. I think I might. Anyways the song they were teaching the audience after they had finished their dance show was called The Way I Are by Timbaland.

I also got photos of this event as well. I have put some new links in the below portion of this journal post. Before I forget Lover Redeemed is being worked on but just be patient IÂve got a lot of behind fanfiction, art and my own novel to work on.

Lastly, thank you all for the kind comments, watches, friends and what not. I try to keep up with the thank yous but in case I didnÂt reach you thank you! Well IÂm going to get back to my fanfiction and my novel. Hopefully at least I can finish one thing today like my Evil Althena (from Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete) will be finished today and I can post it.

Okay feeling good today. I'm working on cging anothe picture of myself. I'm also working on a fanfic and my novel. I finally (YES) got the anime series 'Crest of the Stars'. Yeah its a little kiddish but I love it.

I can't wait till August my birthday. Husband says he is going to get me Harry Potter's next book and I will probably be getting my pre-ordered book - 'Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer' as well. YAY!

I'm thinking about posting some more textures and I've got one Stargate Atlantis fanfic I'm going to post.

I am still working on the drawing of Payne. Not sure when I will be done.

If you noticed I went a little stamp crazy lately. I will do the female characters in J.D. Ward's books but can't get to it until tomorrow. My top wants the rest of the day with me.

I am also doing a few stamps for people on fiction, fanfiction and here on deviantart that I think rock. I know stamps is so over done but eh... its fun its own way.

I am doing a few more of these types of drawings. I have a Illyria one I've been working on. Illyria is from Angel. I'm not a huge fan of the show but I loved Illyria so...

I am still working on Payne and looks like I'm getting better at the whole cg thing now. I also have some more photos to post but I might wait on them.

Other random news - I'm finishing up chapter 3 of my novel 'After Tonight'. In case you didn't know or I forgot to mention earlier, I writing a vampire romance novel and will hopefully publish by the end of this year or middle of next year. Who knows maybe it will do good but I'm not going to get my hopes up too high so that way I can't be disappointed.

On my fiction/fanfiction - I am almost finished with Bound To Happen, two more chapters to go. As for Pinch Me Please and some of the other ones your just going to have to be patient. If you don't know what I'm talking about, visit the sites below and you'll understand.

In case you don't know what I'm talking about: They are one of the best vampire books I've read in a long time. The first in the series is Dark Lover by J.R. Ward. I didn't like it all that much but the second and third book got me hooked on the series.

The vampires are living vampires but they do have problems with the sun. They got some abilities like dematerializing etc. I think the best thing about these books is how she gets you into the characters mindset/scene and I liked how she portrayed the vampires in a animalisitic/realistic light.

Yeah I know I need to work on my vocabulary. Whatever.So I highly recommend this series.

There is also - Keri Arthur's Riley Jenson guardian series. The first book is Full Moon Rising. It doesn't have 'magic' pursay but it does dabble in all sorts of possible realms. I liked it because it was gritty and even though there was ghosts etc it was okay with me.

Normally I hate magic, witch stuff or demon stories but this book settled okay with me and the sex in the book was hot. There were no witches as far as I've read in this series. Demons yes but their sort of background noise and show up in the third book. Some people say its too overloaded with sex but I say so what? I liked it anyways. The female lead Riley is dhampire - so half vampire half werewolf.

Last one to recommend that isn't a vampire series but is very interesting in its BDSM realm is Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel series. The first book is Kushiel's Dart. Its a first person that deals with a young woman who deals in pleasure and pain. Carey messes some myths and religions together to create an amazing world with characters that are intriguing. There are some issues with the series but its worth the read at any rate.

One thing I will mention is that it is a little slow sometimes so you just have to be patient and hang with it. If your under age I will say this book isn't for you. Meant for adult as are the other two I mentioned.

-I have about four stories posted. They are not complete. Two of them, "Pinch Me Please" and "Deciphering the Truth" are love stories centralized on characters in high school. "Pinch Me Please" involves a mystery love story. Deciphering the Truth involves a angst love story. The third of them 'Clarion' and is a vampire love story that has action and science fiction in it. The fourth is a preview of the story I'm going to publish called 'After Tonight'. It is a love story with vampires in it that also has angst, whumping, science fiction, action etc.

I'm a huge of Stargate Atlantis. I write fanfiction, do art, watch fan vids, watch flash animation, play video games, hiss at things in a cat like fashion and I find I really like Peach Schaupps. Well that and Saki, Rum and possibly Vodka.

I'm into all sorts of music but I really like exotic, werid non-mainstream music sometimes mainstream depending. I also find I'm highly addicted to Indian music for some reason.

I'm always writing a Sci-fi novel that could be considered in several genres. Lastly, I'm also working on a fanfiction series for Stargate Atlantis that is named Descendent of Iskaezo.
