It was my second lesson ever and the horse flipped out when somebody slammed their car door. I rode a few big bucks and then bailed. I didn't know that you weren't supposed to bail.

Never trotted over poles.

Lol, I have to admit I watch The Saddle Club sometimes.

No.

On Bo, once. Not for long, didn't really do much.

I ride wherever I need to. Arena, round pen, in the open, on the trail...

No.

Oh yeah.

48. Ever had your foot stepped on by a horse?
Yes. Last May Gus the belgian stepped on my right foot. I lost feeling of a small section on top of my foot because he crushed some nerves, and I just got the feeling back about a month ago. My foot is still slightly discolored from that event also.

It's a cool story though.

I try to.

No, it would be fun though.

I'm still riding at Doringcourt as much as possible. Now that I have a car horses are my life. You can probably see from my gallery that they are my one and only true love.

Go ahead, browse through my gallery, you know you waaaant tooooo. Lol. I enjoy equine photography more than any other type of photography, and my favorite pictures are always the surreal and abstract ones. Some people look at my pictures and think that i'm a 6 year old with an expensive camera. But some look at my pictures and understand.

I'm also a part-time semi-professional horse braider. Yeah that's right WUTUP. I go to dressage shows and stay up for over 24 hours straight, you're jeeeeeealous.

So, i'm up to date on submissions, finally! Actually, almost, because I went to the zoo yesterday and got some great shots, but whatever.

Let's just say that i'm up to date!!

Anyway, my most recent 5 billion submitions were from Big Bend National Park. My family went there for a long weekend and went sight-seeing and hiking. What a great place! I have a feeling that we're going to go back every year.

I got some great shots while I was there, maybe not as spectacular as I hoped, but still pretty good! I may end up scrapping some of the boring ones at a later date. You'll have to keep in mind that landscapes aren't really my thing, but I enjoyed capturing the photos anyway.

Of course, I had to throw in some of my usual and weird close-ups, like the grass and such. My family looks at me like i'm mental when I squat down to take pictures of weeds, but i'm happy with the shots I got of them.

For those of you that faithfully watch me and actually read my boring journals, thank you!

I would also like to take an informal poll:

I am debating on whether or not I should include a border around my photos when I submit them. I always felt that a border "completed" the image, in a sense, and so i've stuck with it. But, after creating my new signature, I realized that some of the images look just as great, if not better without a border!

Here's an example:

You send me a picture of your horse. Ex: :thumb37935845:

I draw it, so that it ends up like this. (no color) Ex: :thumb40342283:
It's drawn on an 8.5 x 11 (approximately) inch sheet of thick, white paper, with a black felt tip marker.
I ship it to you.

I'm thinking that the price would be around $5 per drawing; that includes shipping. I beleive that's a fairly reasonable price for a high quality, realistic drawing of your horse(s).

The one thing that might hold back customers is the fact that my drawing will have to be identical to the picture they provide. Unfortuanately, i'm not yet skilled enough to attempt to draw the horse in a realistic manner in my own original pose. Also, I can only draw horses.

I just need to know if you would be willing to pay 5 bucks for something like this, and if you think other people would be interested. Thanks!

I'm so sad, he was the sweetest cat in the world and i'm really going to miss him.
His name was Tinker, he was black, fluffy, and fat. He was almost 10 years old. I loved him so much.
