PIT rehearsals for our school musical have been taking over my life, we have them twice or three times a week for 2 1/2 hours or more...curses chamber O!!

I'm going to see my friend's school's production of The Secret Garden (the same musical my school is doing) on thursday. Hopefully it'll clue me in on what the musical is supposed to look like...

And last but not least I'm going to a Dispatch/State Radio concert Nov 29th!

yesterday was sprachfest! me, =spazzticartist, ~Bobiscool411, ~Chibisaturn39, ~defyingravity989, and ~indo-d-sian gathered together at 6:45, traveled to garden city (with all the other german students), and did german related things. or at least..most of us did. we started a new trend of signing eachother's sprachfest shirts, and we got money for playing music in the hallway xD. awesome, really. Ward Melville won tons of events, =spazzticartist won 3rd in scrabble (group), ~Bobiscool411 won 3rd in the gingerbread house competition, and 1st in the music competition, ~defyingravity989 won 3rd in the baking competition, ~indo-d-sian won 3rd in Superdeutsch, 3rd in scrabble (group) and i won 1st in the music competition (group).

really, we owned.

next, me, ~GinOokami, and ~Jesus-is-My-Homeboy went to an art show in south hampton, where they were displaying one of ~GinOokami's works, to be precise, [link] . that was super fun and super cool, we saw a lot of great works there (and we pigged out on the fingerfood). After that we went back to her house, stopping by ~Red-Walrus' house but as he didnt do his chores he couldnt come, and played BRAWL. it's pretty hard to play when her dog ruby is mauling you xDD

all in all, it was pretty damn fun.

this orchestra must have been 10 x better than last year's division.

during the concert, they had some kind of fan blower thing going on backstage so EVERYBODYS MUSIC KEPT FLYING EVERYWHERE.
our conductor had to wait for like 10 min before starting carmen because our music was flying xD!

my music must have flew off at least 7 times during carmen, 2 times during jupiter, but none during pirates because that music was original and on heavy paper. oh, and a couple of times the star spangled banner sheet flew away!!

hoorah! i have a violin hickey now because of excessive playing of the violin (5 hrs last saturday, 5 hrs friday, 5 hrs this morning and the concert) and i have a concert on wednesday (even more fun, me and my friend have the solo parts in the concert....), plus a performance in tri-M (music honors society) and a performance this saturday at Sprachfest! to top it all off, NYSSMA is coming in 5 weeks, and im going to have to be ready for all-state. BRING IT ON.

still, its wrong to be at school at like 7 am on a saturday D:

JUPITER is actually FUN now because we play it...well...better xD its really fast and everybody plays in tune, and the wind players are awesome 8D

CARMEN is a lot of fun too, and it sounds really good >.o' this year's division is just so much better than last year, the song sounds really professional

PIRATES is <333 the crooked waltz is really funny, it sounds like the part where jack is drunk xD and then it has this amazing cello solo (played by kyle foley >_> haha) like in the beginning of fogbound and then everybody comes in with that melody, it just sounds amazing o.o i was like spazzing the first time we played it xD

uhhh auditions were rough, i played everything pretty much okay'ly, but there was a part in pirates 175- the end, and i didnt even look at it before i came there soo...i made everything up and played it horribly xDDDD! (sheesh i bet if i didnt mess up so badly there i would have scored 5 seats higher)

me jenny and anita is this little group towards the back (somewhere around 7/8th stand, theyres 11 stands all together) while jong wong and allison sit in like....2/4 seat haha *laughs* its hilarious

hmmm when i really think about it the night was a blur.
mabye we all to drunk and passed out or something :]
so ill recite all the things i remember

soo, when we first got there we were all taking pictures with Jie's awesome camera.

after that...we had a really weird figure studies workshop, guess what!? i can draw better with my left hand. can't draw with my feet thou, too bad. i got pwn3d.

deepa was glued to the pottery wheel, because it was just too much fun. that thing really is a lot of fun *makes it spin really fast* ZOMG UR SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL!!

then we heard the ice cream call and all went running down the hall to get ice cream (and cake and brownies and chips and dip lol.) Jie : THEY'RE TRYING TO FATTEN US UP! THEY'RE GOING TO EAT US!!

so then, i worked on that stupid bitch of a drawing (the violin one) for about 5 hours, and i still didnt finish it. i seriously dont think i should be let near a pencil at 4 am.

and basically after that its all a blur, we walked around the school and saw lots of people sleeping in weird places (near the school store door three people were squished in there sleeping. how do u squish into a place like that? WHY where they in a place like that? mabye they were trying to break in

recently, ive started composing music (and its really fun :]), and paying much more attention to my violin, quite fun actually.

i havent really drawn all that much, but i really dont have a huge art block, so expect more updates (just very slowly).

im doing the Draw-A-Thon at my school, which is when a bunch of art geeks stay overnight in the school and draw for like 4 hrs straight, watch art related movies at midnight, and do art related events, and all that jazzz...its going to be a ton of fun and the money we raise goes to New Orleans and Senior Art Scholarships (so you'll probably be seeing an update on that).

currently, im in a state of delirious happy-hyperness. there was lots of gift giving at my school today so everybody was radiating like happy auras lol xD

and a special gift from a special someone made me very happy : )
