In an effort to be more "present" where my online presence is concerned...I will be uploading all of the things that I intended to share here when I joined dA, as well as the many things I have been terribly slack about adding here over the last year, hopefully by the end of the weekend.

Latest News for Forever Scorched -- September 2009

We attended the Central NC Pagan Pride Day festival last weekend in Raleigh, Sept. 19th & 20th...we've been in previous years but this year we were there as vendors rather than just attendees!!!
It was great, we met some really wonderful people and received terrific response and interest, both for my work and the Dream gongs we offered. I sold a couple of pieces, bartered with my neighbor vendor for another and gave out tons of brochures to folks interested in custom work.
The festival itself was a success for the event's organizers, over the two days there were 1800 attendees, plus they donated $550 and 2092 pounds of food to the Food Bank of NC!!! Way to go NC pagan community and supporters!!!

I wanna also offer up a big thank you to the CNCPPD organizers as well as our neighbor vendors on the Boulevard, who were all wonderfully nice...and to Jinni and Frost at The Natural Grove, and Steve and Anitra with The Church of the Earth especially....considering we occasionally annoyed the piss out of them with the loudness of gongs!

I also want to make note that I am currently, as always, accepting commission work for pyrography, graphics and anything else. I am a stay at home mom of two (three counting my work at home hubby) and I also home school them so being mom, cook, chauffeur and teacher from dawn til well after dusk does keep me tied up a good bit of the time. Aside from that there is the steady income making freelance gig I have...which requires my attention as well.
However....I am always open to creating with anyone who is interested so don't hestitate to send me a note or an email if you have need of my services.
At times it may seem that I haven't been commenting or loading deviations as much as others...but I am still here and always checking in so if you send me a note, you will get a response.

Well, I think that covers it for now. Love and Light to all!
