People are FAVING the club's submissions when the club's rules specifically states that no one should be faving the club's submissions! DO I HAVE TO REPEAT MYSELF?! This is a CLUB!!!! =lilly-peacecraft is back to say that I've updated|revamped the Members's Journal with all the new member's since December 2008. There are 15 new member's and 2 new Affiliates.

Come and join =lilly-peacecraft for an overview LazyTown the newest kids show that's currently airing on NickJr with highlights include clips from the show, a bit of merchandise information and there will be time for an question/answer period at the end of the panel. All Ages

--A Full Description About The Panel:
LazyTown is a children's TV show which airs on Nick Jr and Noggin (both owned by Viacom) in the United States, the BBC and Nick Jr in the United Kingdom, YTV in Canada, and RÚV in Iceland (where the show originates). It was created by Magnús Scheving, an aerobics champion and CEO of LazyTown Entertainment, who also stars in the show. LazyTown features a cast and crew from both the United States and Iceland (where it is known as Latibaer). There will be time for a question/answer period at the end of the panel.

All you have to do is send us a note with the subject line saying "Join" then link the club's icon to your journal and dewatch us.

~lazyscout123- Hi everyone - new to the club but wanted to share the exciting news that LazyTown episodes are now on iTunes! First they just had Spanish, but now they have 18 episodes in English as well - just bought the whole season!

About Lazy Town
LazyTown is an Icelandic children's television program (where it is known as Latibær) that features a cast and crew from Iceland, the United Kingdom and the United States. It has aired on Nick Jr, Noggin, YTV, BBC One, CBeebies, RTP2, ABC1, Super RTL, Sjónvarpið, Discovery Kids, V-me and Ketnet, among other television networks. It was created by Magnús Scheving, a gymnastics champion and CEO of LazyTown Entertainment, who also stars in the show. The show has been highly successful, airing in over 100 countries, and more than a dozen languages.[1] Marathon Media Group distributed the French dubbed version.

The series first appeared in the U.S. on Nick Jr. on August 16, 2004; the series' second season debuted in the U.S. on Nick Jr. on May 15, 2006. It aired again in the U.S. on CBS from September 18, 2004 to September 9, 2006.

A total of 52 episodes of LazyTown have been produced.

As of 2009, LazyTown continues to generate spin-off projects, including LazyTown Live! (stage productions touring in the UK, Ireland & Australia) and a TV series for younger children called LazyTown Extra.

The Beginning of Latibaer!
We all know that Lazytown had first started in Iceland during the 90's. So, what would the songs sound like in Icelandic? This link here will answer that xD! http://www.krakkabanki.is/utvarp/utvarp.swf

Also, I want to point of the translation of what is Latibaer? Well, of course it means Lazytown in Icelandic. Icelandic is a wonderful language that I wish I could learn more about it. But here is what I pick up when translating the characters names..

Latibaer = Lazytown
Ithrottaalfurinn = Sportacus (aka The Sports Elf!)
Solla = Stephanie
Glanni = Robbie Rotten
Siggi = Ziggy
Nenni = Stingy
Halla = Trixie
Goggi = Pixel
Stina = Bessybody
Stjori = Milford the Mayor

Also I like to add, there are 3 other characters that is not mention for the Lazytown we know and love in America. One happens to be a police officer, another kid that seems to have a strength weakness, and a Duck xD! LOL, I think the Duck or Goose is Sportacus's buddy.

*Julianna Rose Mauriello: She was born in 1991. When she was around 8 she began her acting career in high school plays. Later she got her first part on a Broadway play as lil' Titch in "Oklahoma!" after this she was on "Gypsy". Soon after that, she got her part on "Lazytown". Everyone in all ages love her and the show!

*Magnus Scheving: The creator and spirit of LazyTown. He is a world class athlete, entrepreneur, writer and producer. He has been host and producer of popular health-related children´s television shows in his native Iceland and is a well-known comedian and entertainer in his home country.

*Stefan Karl: A gifted actor and musician, Stefan Karl has worked extensively on television, film, theater, radio and stand-up comedy in his native Iceland. A member of the National Theater of Iceland, he has appeared in many productions including Cyrano de Bergerac and Little Shop of Horrors.

Movie Summary
Originally aired: Monday August 15, 2005 on Nickelodeon then the next date on August 16, 2005 the dvd was release! ^.^ The show's soundtrack album was also available on Aug. 16, 2005!

LazyTown has a new superhero and her name is SportaStephanie! In this special one-hour episode, Sportacus takes a vacation and leaves LazyTown in the hands of his good friend Stephanie. As SportaStephanie, she faces her first big challenge when Robbie unleashes a hero-hating machine called Robo-Dog.
