got injured again TT^TT
it's been a few days now but yeah... he had a wound on his hip. he needed to be stitched.
for a few days he couldn't get used to the protective collar so he had to be hand fed. he couldn't drink so he got water delivered by drip (like IV, just under skin) and he got some antibiotic shots.
he's recovering now but i wish i could be there for him. usually i'm the one who spends most time with our cats when they get sick. i even give them injections myself ;____;

this is a bit of a rant journal. i guess it might be viewed by some as slightly angsty. be warned.

life's been weird.
most of the last two months or so i've spent on writing my m.a. thesis, visiting various doctors and occasional working on commissions (yes, i'm still drawing those). i missed the last polish convention i really wanted to attend and it looks like i'll miss another one as well. any kind of social life is nonexistant. drawing just for fun is scarce. i cannot say i'm unhappy because that wouldn't be true. i am happy. i'm just a bit blank and a bit tired.

it's christmas eve again. it has always been the most magical time of a year for me. the smell of traditional food filling the house, the colourful christmas tree, the holy mass in the middle of the night... the family together. everyday problems forgotten for a while. peace and quiet and happiness.

okay, so i admit i'm not the kind to take care of my health properly. no matter what i say about living healthy i always put school above everything else. i usually eat junk food twice a day and sleep less than 6 hours, especially on school days. but now i'm thinking maybe it's not so wise after all (i'm a genius, i know;; )

guess what. tomorrow i'm going to korea;;;;; yes, again. yes, third time this year.
this time i'm going to stay there for two weeks (i'm coming back December 4th) and attend a course organised by Seoul National University ( http://www.snu.ac.kr/ ). SNU has made a new korean language textbook for overseas students and they invited some people to test it.
this time i'm not promising any devjournal/lj updates as i know it never really works unless you have your own laptop. which i have not. yet.

just wanted to say i'll be gone for about a month (at least till august 20th), i'm going to korea again tomorrow. this time i'm participating in a cultural program organized by the academy of korean studies ( http://www.aks.ac.kr/ ) in seongnam~

some of you already know what i mean (my close friends and those who were able to read my last journal) but for those who don't - tomorrow i'm going to korea! i couldn't possibly be much more happy now~ tho on the other hand, it still doesn't get to me. i just can't believe it. but i do get those funny stomach muscle clamps lol;; so nervoooouuuuus x__x;;
it's not a long stay, 11 days in seoul. i should be back around 18th. but the conclusion is - i'll be pretty much unavaliable till then. so if you have some questions/requests/etc, your messages probably won't be read until i'm back. please, be patient *bows*
