Today I ended up arriving at teh W.A.T.T. STUDIOS at 10am this morning and left tonight at midight. that 's right 14hrs straight of mixing 3 smoke breaks.

Anyways I find that to be pretty insane anywyas. Here is the scoop on what happened today in the Kia Bowsh mixing session.

I actually finished the first mix of "Prajna' by Kia Bowsh last week. This week I sat down and studied my ass off on everything I could learn about nuendo. So I decided today I would start the mix again from scratch and apply some new techniques I was shown.

So the fist thing I did today was re-import all of the tracks back into nuendo. The fist stage is to clean up all the audio trakcs which took about 14 hours today just to clean up. So what you want to do is go upto your audio file drop downa t the top of nuendo go to Advanced and click on delete silence. The Delete silnce window will now pop up and you can edit your open and close threshold to tell the program where exactly you want to assign there zones aroudn the audio you want to keep. After you ahve all your audio selected you hit process and it will automatically delete all the unwanted audio aprts from your track.

You don't just stop here though just because th edelte silence function deleted all your unwanted data you will stil ahve to zoom in and edit each sample by hand which meens some of the startand end points may have got chopped off and you will have to add either crossfade or a fade out tail on teh end of your samples to make it sound more smoothe.

The next step after you have gone through all your tracks and cleaned all the nosie out of the audio tracks you want to look at your audio peaks. You will see that theya re all over the place some are just ready to sclip wihich means distort and some are way to low. So now that we ahve all our silence deleted now we wil have to go back into our samples and cut each note from the samples which is just like cutting film in half we will sue our scissor tool to separate all our notes into regions.

Okay now all our notes are cut on every track, that took a while didn't it? haha now we look at the waveform the top of the waveform are called peaks it's the peak of the audio. What we want to do now is lower these peaks down to amtch the rest of the peaks. Why do we do this? To create consistency and also to save us alot of hard ache in reproduction. sometimes if peaks are to harsh and all over the place it's hard for your home stereo or even car stereo to handle these peaks and may even decide to distort thsoe waveforms. So lets go to our timeline in nuendo and if you click on a region or sample you will notice a line across your sample in blue with 2 arrow and a dot in the middle. take your selection tool teh pointer and move down the dot in the middle til you see the highest peak line up with the audio peak next to it from the other region. We also want to do this for all the track aswell. This is also a great way of doing a sort of natural compression I find that if you can hand edit as much effects or processing as possible you will get the best results.

Okay so now we have all our audio cut and the peaks of the entire songs dynamics have been cleaned up. Lets take a minute to go upto our first track solo this track and just listen to it. Is teh bass to high? Maybe it;s to low? is the treble to high or low? does teh track stil ahve noise coming into it from under the audio? try and pcik out what you can make better about the indivudal tracks and this is where you start your signal processing compression, eq, delay, noise gates, limiters, ect.

I will stop here for now for I just wanted to sahre a small portion of what I was doing today. I will talk more about signal processing on a later date.

So this is the exact process that I went through today. I will let you in on one more cool feature that nuendo and cubase has to offer. If you are in stacked recording mode and you set your region marker to lets say 2 bars. we record enable our audio track to record some audio. If we go into our transport window and put our track to paly on loop and hit record as we are recording our audio each full cycle that it loops through teh zone will create a separate lane(Audio Track) for our recording.

Why would we need this?

It is a mistake to believe that a science consists in nothing but conclusively proved propositions, and it is unjust to demand that it should. It is a demand only made by those who feel a craving for authority in some form and a need to replace the religious catechism by something else, even if it be a scientific one. Science in its catechism has but few apodictic precepts; it consists mainly of statements which it has developed to varying degrees of probability. The capacity to be content with these approximations to certainty and the ability to carry on constructive work despite the lack of final confirmation are actually a mark of the scientific habit of mind. -- Freud

Freud's story, like most people's stories, begins with others. In his case those others were his mentor and friend, Dr. Joseph Breuer, and Breuer's patient, called Anna O.
Anna O. was Joseph Breuer's patient from 1880 through 1882. Twenty one years old, Anna spent most of her time nursing her ailing father. She developed a bad cough that proved to have no physical basis. She developed some speech difficulties, then became mute, and then began speaking only in English, rather than her usual German.

When her father died she began to refuse food, and developed an unusual set of problems. She lost the feeling in her hands and feet, developed some paralysis, and began to have involuntary spasms. She also had visual hallucinations and tunnel vision. But when specialists were consulted, no physical causes for these problems could be found.

If all this weren't enough, she had fairy-tale fantasies, dramatic mood swings, and made several suicide attempts. Breuer's diagnosis was that she was suffering from what was then called hysteria (now called conversion disorder), which meant she had symptoms that appeared to be physical, but were not.

In the evenings, Anna would sink into states of what Breuer called "spontaneous hypnosis," or what Anna herself called "clouds." Breuer found that, during these trance-like states, she could explain her day-time fantasies and other experiences, and she felt better afterwards. Anna called these episodes "chimney sweeping" and "the talking cure."

Sometimes during "chimney sweeping," some emotional event was recalled that gave meaning to some particular symptom. The first example came soon after she had refused to drink for a while: She recalled seeing a woman drink from a glass that a dog had just drunk from. While recalling this, she experienced strong feelings of disgust...and then had a drink of water! In other words, her symptom -- an avoidance of water -- disappeared as soon as she remembered its root event, and experienced the strong emotion that would be appropriate to that event. Breuer called this catharsis, from the Greek word for cleansing.

It was eleven years later that Breuer and his assistant, Sigmund Freud, wrote a book on hysteria. In it they explained their theory: Every hysteria is the result of a traumatic experience, one that cannot be integrated into the person's understanding of the world. The emotions appropriate to the trauma are not expressed in any direct fashion, but do not simply evaporate: They express themselves in behaviors that in a weak, vague way offer a response to the trauma. These symptoms are, in other words, meaningful. When the client can be made aware of the meanings of his or her symptoms (through hypnosis, for example) then the unexpressed emotions are released and so no longer need to express themselves as symptoms. It is analogous to lancing a boil or draining an infection.

In this way, Anna got rid of symptom after symptom. But it must be noted that she needed Breuer to do this: Whenever she was in one of her hypnotic states, she had to feel his hands to make sure it was him before talking! And sadly, new problems continued to arise.

According to Freud, Breuer recognized that she had fallen in love with him, and that he was falling in love with her. Plus, she was telling everyone she was pregnant with his child. You might say she wanted it so badly that her mind told her body it was true, and she developed an hysterical pregnancy. Breuer, a married man in a Victorian era, abruptly ended their sessions together, and lost all interest in hysteria.

It was Freud who would later add what Breuer did not acknowledge publicly -- that secret sexual desires lay at the bottom of all these hysterical neuroses.

To finish her story, Anna spent time in a sanatorium. Along with albums to artists I have found everyone is on this site and everyone has released alot of music to the general public for free.

This is a very interesting read it is very lengthy but serves great purpose in trying to understand the un-understandable such as where life came from in all forms universal to microscopal. In search of my god and spirituality, my scientific side to life found itself to this essay. Not yet proven on the fact of a greater god physically I am starting to understand and trust in the fact that there is a greater god on a sensual or mental level yet proven in it's physical forms my search is still up for debate but believe soon whether scientifically, spiritually, mentally or physically the answers will prove themselves to be very much real. The excitment grows within how these forms reveal themselves to me in this quest of life.

The new album "As The World is Falling Apart" will touch on these topics of finding truth in the un-understandable within our inner selves ie. without understanding ones own self one cannot understand the world and without understanding of our earth cannot fully develope the understanding of the universe. Yet what guides us all is not in a physical sense but spiritual sense therefore by not being a physical object to touch or know that it's actaully really there. The key to each of our own lives lay in the inner depths of our own minds and without accepting and willing to detach from your everyday comforts, insecurities and fears you may not reach your personal truth, self worth and understanding of ones self. Happiness is the art of positive thinking within every situation you can take out either one of 2 things the negative or the positive it's the practice of finding and making the positive stand out and more powerful then the negative and to not let the positive affect you in a selfish way, for love is the act of complete unselfishness and once you controll selfishness you find love and happiness.

Thrue the examples from events, situations and eliminating those emotions out of those situations and events I have come to terms and accepted, understood that what your actually seeing may only be the mask of what really could be underneath all that destruction or chaos. For one can't really live first unless they experience or let themselves die first and thrue death you will be reborn and feel life for what it really is. This album is about being at rock bottom and maturing out of death into life and how to cope with these new frustrations and feelings by not telling you how but sharing with you the process.


Evolution: Fact or Fiction?

We are not trying to disprove evolution, but to show that it is not a tried and tested fact. A scientific fact is defined as “an observation that has been confirmed repeatedly and is accepted as true.” From the quotes above, we can see that observations and tests show inconsistencies, and that evolutionists themselves have not accepted evolution as true.

How could such divergent opinions exist, yet some consider evolution to be fact? The answer is clear. Evolution has not been sufficiently proven in the scientific community to be considered fact!

Further, by true scientific standards, is evolution even a theory? A scientific theory is defined as a “theory that explains scientific observations; scientific theories must be falsifiable.”

What this means is that in order for a scientific theory to be valid, there must exist a test that can prove it either right or wrong. Without putting the theory to a test, one can never prove it—either true or false!

For example, one could observe an orange sunset, and then theorize that the sun is always orange. There exists a means to either prove or disprove this theory, therefore making it a valid theory. Of course, if a theory is proven wrong, it should no longer be considered a valid theory. In this case, if one continues to watch the sky, they will see changes in its color.

Sometimes you need to experience every horrible thing the world can throw at you in order to get to those awesome things which last a lifetime.

Personally I needed to almost die to stop doing drugs, I had to ruin every relationship I was ever in until I found someone that I cared about who could impact me to change in the right way, I had to abuse everyone I love in order to appreciate them fully, I had to live on the street to make me not want to sink that low again.

I wish I never had to experience the worst of things first but I know in the end after it;s all said and done that what I will walk away with will be so strong and amazing that because I already experienced all the bad in traumatic ways I won't be affected by things as easily and it will be a lot easier to be happy and focus on who I actually really am.

there is only one more step I am so close I can feel it reverberating through my teeth.

"This site shows a portfolio of work broken up into company work as well as breaking it down to individual work showing our clients the diverse skill sets which we as individuals can bring into there projects vision. The site also includes our in depth look into design as individuals which is then collaborated into our companies view as a whole.
The site will be a 3d environment where each category has its own group of circles or shapes. The camera moves through this 3d world towards the section the user choose. The roll over states in the sub nav will give the visitor some kind of visual idea where each piece related to that section is located. The site will show visually how we as individuals can form together and externalize to bring multiple styles and skill sets to our company."

The way we hire people is based on there personal skill set and style. We are on contract basis only for projects that come to our company.
Right now i have a contract with teachers for thinking doing a series of educational dvd's for teachers. They are offering 20 grand per dvd and may want us to do the entire series if first one goes well which the estimated total cost would be around $220,000 for I believe just over 1 years worth of work for the entire series.

Adobe has integrated mobile interfaces into there products now. They have included a new piece of software called Device Manager which allows you or helps you to create interfaces for mobile phones. Photoshop CS3 has also changed there document settings now including all preset video formats with guides, Mobile presets and many other cool things.

The interface for photoshop has changed a bit for the better not only is there the same old tools pallet but they have also included a side pallet as well. Photoshop has now integrated Flash and Dreamweaver into the mix as well making it able to interact with these 2 programs a lot easier.

I am very excited about this new version it seems like they took illustrator and Image ready and compiled it all into one program, thank god they finally did this. In the end this is one of the most amazing new pieces of software I have seen come along. One more thing they have also integrated After effects and Premier Pro into photoshop as well also making it easier to use both programs at once and interact with each other.

Microchips which are implanted into the lid of the milk containers making the computerized fridge read the products information. This is design and I belive his is where it is going.

all that slowly disappeared as time went on but i think the side affects always grew from it because I never realized that they were there because i thought it was just a disorder I had that was fucking me up. In the long run it wasn't my whole life has been in the dark bad family life stressful school life and social life.

Anyways because of all this negative stuff and never being able to escape from it I have created this wierd altered reality in my head where it almost feels like that movie being john malkhovich it;s like I can see through my eyes but alot of the time I can;t actually control anything i am jsut watching out of my eyes seeing whats going on. I thought for so long i had bi-polar but I don;t think I do I just kind of think that I live in 2 reality's one real one that is awsome and normal then another one where I freak out and want to kill people and shit it's wierd.

Thats what I have come to realize is that there is nothing wrong with me it;s just how I have been treated and now to comfort of still wanting to be in that world for comfort reasons. But i think I am more confident now to get over this because i understand it more then I was before.

I ahve also been studying Photography for about the same amoutn of time 10 years I started in high schol then when I got expelled I kind of dropped that and found a new life in music. But within the last year I have been finding out new artistic approachs and concepts I want to delv into. So I am taking the time to studydigital design so i cn direct all my own art for all my music. I love having all teh concepts of the art created by me then it always be to branch away into a bigger conceptual project. the way I work with music is that even if you lisen to a song you won't fully get it til you see the films and the photographs the writing and so on I don't liek giving everything away in one piece. I think that's something I would love to see more in art and music is to not be so upfront with your ideas and goals of the piece but make them a thought piece make peopel think and let peoel make it there own if they really want to know the truth they will research it so give them something to research. But thats where I stand right now thats a bit about what I am about right now but it all changes day by day and sooo fast so hopefully you all come back and hear what i ahve to say in liek a week from now i bet it should be interesting.
