I was walking home with my friends and we were talking about the internet, and we got on the topic of our home pages, and when I mentioned that mine is Deviant Art ()there was this long silence and then one ofthem proceeded to say "there are alot of bad artists on that site and ony a few good ones." and then he had the nerve to list some off (and I knew some of them) and then proceeded to say that there are some really disgusting pictures. Now I'm not sure what HE was looking at but I know for a fact that there is a mature content filter on this site and it is required that when submitting a devination the artist must specify weather it contains "mature content" (and I know you too are aware of this). The other thing is if you don't like a particulr artist thats fine, but don't dwell on their art style b/c you dont like it. IT'S WHAT THEY DO! AND DON'T SAY IT'S LIKE "THE ART OF A TWO YEAR OLD!!!" BECAUSE THAT'S 1.DESTRUCTIVE (and I stress DESTRUCTIVE)CRITICIZM AND 2.NOT VERY NICE!!!

sadly I don't think they understand what deviant art is about.

1. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "GOOD" ART OR "BAD" ART. JUST SCRIBBLES ON THE PAGE

2. deviant art is a WELCOMING place for ALL artists of VARIOUS TALENTS, you don't hve to be a vangoh to be included

3. if you (in your own opinion) don't/ can't draw than you DO NOT have the Right to speak against art or others

4. there are more than just drawings on this site. Have you READ the LITERATURE?, LOOKED at the SCULPTURES?, did you EXPIERENCE the PHOTOGRAPHY? were you not DAZZLED by the JEWELRY?

I'm feel particularly good, I dont think I regret anything I did last year which is always good, no real resolutions for this year other than taking the time to de-stress more often, optimism is a good thing to focous on....oh, hey, it snowed. the first snow fall of 2008...you guys have got to see this [link] I never thought cracton could look good but its not too bad out.

I'm mass producing some of my beaded bracelets which are custome made to fit specific wrist sizes. And being the me I am I'm not sure what the general size range should be

A MINI FIRST AID KIT FOR THE ACCIDENT PRONE ME!!!!!!!

It's going to be so cool. the box itself is going to be made of ash with oak or willow on the edges I have not decided yet. and the ash pannels are going to be cut into a fish net pattern (on all four sides, except top and bottom) with a thin piece of cherry behind it (so I can put in the deviders). and on the top is going to be the first aid cross in cherry.

In woodshop I am making a picture frame as part of the "safty" unit. It was supposed to be for an 8"x10" photo but the router ate a good part of it, so now I have one 4"x4" (inside dimentions) fame >_<

ok so I downloaded the FL STUDIO6 demo version......W8 I guess I should state what the hell it is, well its a music creation thingy, and it has like a-ga-ja-billion diffrent sounds and things to use and make music with, its the greatness... only problem with the demo. YOU CANT SAVE YOUR WORK!!!!! >_< *smacks head on computer*
(and there r some things u cant access, but they dont matter) so the other day I was trying to make a club music version of the 5second song bolero of fire (legend of zelda. Ocarina of time) and my computer went emo on me and cut itself from what ever power scource it devours and I lost everything I did. SO FRUSTRATING!. so now I have to write everything down in a self made record book [which is trez annoying because it was damn near impossible to figure out how to write it all down so I understand it and could remember it. but I eventually devised a way to be some kinda smarty pants]......*deep breaths* and thats not even the half of it.

I tryed finding a loop hole in the program, like exporting the curent work as a MIDI file and then importing the it hopefully being able to continue working on it BUT NOOOO IT HAD TO BE ALL LIKE, "GLITCH ON YOU AND IMPORT HALF-ASSEDLY SO YOU CAN'T TO WORK ON IT AND THEN DELETE THE OTHER FL STUDIO WINDOW YOU OPEND AND ALL YOUR WORK IS GONE" *cries* its not fair.....

AND on top of that everytime I close the program this pop up appears and offers 4 diffrent flstudio programs I can buy each one better than the last. I really want the producers eddition which has;

BUT THEY ARE GREEDY AND WANT $149 U.S DOLLAR FOR IT WHICH IS LIKE A-GA-JA-BILLION CANADIAN. but the more I screw around on the demo version the more I really want to buy it. but my job doesn't pay much and I have to save my money for when I go to chicago this may. and after that I have to send in my gamecube to be fixed because its not reading any of the disks and I've cleaned the laser and disks and it works on ocasion but its not now.

BOOOOOOOO I hate having to record everything on paper and then REDO EVERYTHING AND THEN EXPAND ON THE SONG AND THEN WRITE DOWN THE NEW PATTERNS CONTINUing IN A POINTLESS CIRCLE OF FRUSTRATING ANGRYNESS.

I feel as though I'm drownding in an ocean of my own musical anxt, talent, frustration, and creativity. my head is about to explode *sobs*

On the brigt side if I finish a song I can export it as an mp3 file. open it in media player, and listen to it any time I want....still wish I could save projects......it would make life much easyer and less stressful *inner thoughts*(WOW that a word and feeling I dont usually use/express...life must be really bad at this point)

So far I have created 2 full length songs. the first is called "crimson rave", it's a basic remix of the 5 second song bolero of fire made into a 4min club song, I plan on redoing it because I just found a whole bunch of new sounds to play with.

and the second is called "inside the witches house" That one started off as me screwing around with the piano roll for a channel I cant remember the name of and a channel called "tinkle" then it expanded, and I really liked it. everything from that song is all 100% original which is uber cool.

and I'm experimenting with a piece I originally wrote for the piano. I put it on a harpsichord piano roll and messed around with the pitch, length, vibe, ect. so it kinda sounds like a mix between a pipe organ and a harpsichord. i'm just w8ing for some insparation. Best part of all....90% OF MY CONSTRUCTION CLASS RESPECTS ME.

now I'm not sure if I mentioned before but I'm the only girl in the 4th period construction class but I am now.

At first they looked down upon me as if I didnt really belong there, (which I didn't care about because I wanted to learn how to build residential houses) but now most of them talk to me like a friend, and some of them even ask for my help. this means there is a possibility I'll get a partner to help me when we do the bathroom corner pieces, still unlikely because there is an odd number of students in the class, but at least none of them have tryed to destroy the picture frame i'm making.....As for the other 10% they are ppl I've disliked and who have disliked me since gr.1 so they can burn for all i care thats right BURN!!!!!!!!!!!!
