my lovely laptop has a virus
the same one it had before

i got the same virus over the summer and i took it into the repair shop on the island and they fixed it and it was fine. they downloaded Spybot Search & Destroy on there too and told me to run it regularly.
guess i didnt run it enough
because i randomly got a virus

i'm gonna have to blame mark's internet though...because i dont want it to be my laptops fault
i love my laptop
it never did anything wrong
why is it sickk??

but yeah, my mom said she would take it into a computer repair shop sometime this week

just moved here today
the decision was made a week ago
everything was pretty last-minute since my mom quit her job

so now my mom and i are livin in paola, kansas with her boyfriend, mark. he has a nice house though. so cool beans. im trying to be optimistic.

but i miss my friends in iowa a LOT. i wont see them again for a looong time.....sadnesss

so yeah i'm gonna be living here until december 23rd, when i come back to washington.

i don't really know what i think of thanksgiving, because its sort of encouraging people to become morbidly obese. like, its the one day of the year you cat eat as much as you want and people dont judge you.
but you're eating potatoes and turkey and stuff.
not entirely the most healthy thing you could be consuming.
and you're eating a lot.
therefore, its kind of encouraging obesity.

ughh. i hate the world sometimes. well not hate, but really strongly dislike. im against the word 'hate' lately.
i was just on facebook talking to someone and they brought up something and then i wanted to know more about it and they were like 'nvm i cant say anything about it' and im like wow really. like im gonna tell someone. i have better things to do with my life than spreading gossip and other lame shizz.
aaand yeah. im just sick of when people do stuff like that
so im left here

this weekend was alright. friday night i stayed at my friend katie's. pretty fun. we stayed up all night and played wii. ok not all night but til like 2:30.
the next day we just kinda hung out at her place and played more wii and played with her rabbit.
then i came home.
i dont really like being here when my moms boyfriend, mark, is here.
lately hes been trying to act like my parent
and not in a good way
in a "do your chores" way.
and its pissing me off.
he tells me when to do the dishes and stuff and im like >:V
but i do them
so i dont piss off my mom
because whenever mark and i get in fights, my mom gets really upset. its retarded because she always sides with him. and im like um excuse me? you pushed ME out of your vagina. not him. me.

so when i got home i of course immediately had to do chores. i cant just chill out and deal with myself, i have to do the mother effing dishes which piss me off because seriously, people are capable of washing their own dishes instead of making me do all at once.

then today i went and worked at a waffle breakfast which was like a fundraiser for the school music department.
the only good thing about that was getting out of the house and also getting 2 community service hours

because i need 20 by the end of the school year.
and i only have 2. haha.
after the waffle breakfast, me my mom mark and the dog (boomer) went on a walk on the boone river trail which was kind of relaxing
only because i got to listen to music the whole time
and not talk to anyone
wow, either i'm turning into a hormonal bitchy teenage girl, or my moms boyfriend is a doucher.
probably both.
so then i went home.
and had to do my laundry. which sucks ass because the washer leaks out the bottom onto the floor and the floor in the basement which is where our washer and dryer are is painted and the paint peels on ur feet and its just generally an unpleasant experience.
so i did laundry
and then i had to completely clean my room
i got to watch a couple movies though which was kind of nice.
i had top ramen for lunch
and leftovers + a piece of pizza for dinner
(waffles for breakfast)
it was a pretty lame day
then again, it was sunday
and sundays are always lame
because they're the day before monday
and monday sucks major monkey balls
so yeah
thats pretty much it
sorry for being such a complainer but whatever its what i do.

Last night was the homecoming football game, tonight was the homecoming dance.
That's better.
Okay so last night the Lynx (our team) played the Comets (from Charles City) and unfortunately lost.
But that's not the point, they gave it their all and we love them~
Oh, and before the game was..wait for it...wait...THE HOMECOMING PARADE!! Woooooo!
I got to be in the bed of the truck pulling the float, unlike everyone else who had to walk (except the other people in the bed of the truck which was three other girls and this like 10 year old kid and the "zombies" that got to be on the float instead of walking by it).
So yeah I was pretty much VIP. Suck on that. Haha.
Okay so that was Friday.
Today is Saturday. ToDAY sucked, but toNIGHT was awesome. I had to do chores all fucking day. Ughhh. But then around 6:00pm I got to start getting ready for homecoming. I put on my purdy dress and did my makeup. Trey got to the house a little early but whatever...I didn't get to do my hair. Lame.
He gave me a pretty flower corsage thinger and i put it on my wrist. It was sweet of him. And then he had a matching one that he pinned to his shirt. Well actually I guess I technically was supposed to but I couldn't so Mark (my mom's boyfriend) tried and it didn't work for him either so Trey's mom did it haha.
I didn't want to stab him, I'm sorry!! I couldn't do it, I would've felt bad if I poked him...lol.
Okay okay, so we went to my friend Katie's house where she and her boyfriend/homecoming date Adam were waiting. Katie is friends with me because we are both fish in the school play, and Adam and Trey are friends for god knows why haha just because they are.
So then we went to a Chinese resturaunt called Chuong Garden (pronounced Chung Garden) and we had dinner (known in Iowa as "supper" I don't know why...) and it was good. I had a hot and sour soup.
Yummm.
And a Dr.Pepper.
I think I'm just writing this so I never forget it, maybe not even for your benefit haha.
Only Drew reads my journals anyways.
Whatevzz.
So then we had some time to kill so we drove around randomly with Katie's parents til like 8:45pm. The dance started at 9pm and ended at midnight.
Then, as we were in line, it came to my attention that I need to have a student ID or whatever to get into dances which of course I didn't have one...because I'm retarded like that.
But I got in anyways.
~'Cause I got friends in all the right places~ haha good song.
So then I got in and Trey and I got in line and got our picture taken.
Oh did I mention that Trey paid for dinner, my admission, and the photos?
He's amazing. I don't understand it.
Okay and then we took our picture and it went pretty well I think, except my face twitched on the second shot so I hope the first one was ok...lol.
Then, we actually went into the dance.
And danced.
Wooo.
It was super fun, I had a fantastic experience I mean like wow!!
Ok, then finally the dance ended and Mark picked me up and gave Trey a ride home.
And it was good.
Yeah I totally skipped all the romantic/sexy moments just so you didn't feel uncomfortable. You're welcome.
Okay yeah that was about it. It was SUPER FUN.
Like best night ever no lie.

Lots of people might get intimidated by the thought of going into high school for the first time, but personally I'm psyched!! I'm in Iowa now and I'm going to be going to school here. It's a public school!! Way different than the private school I was in for the past two years. There are a bajillion people in my grade.

Not really. Only 150. But still, thats a lot bigger than the 9 people in my grade last year lol. Yeah, that's right. 9. Believe it. (Ew I just sounded like Naruto D: )

I had Orientation last night and I met a girl named Emily who seems really really nice and we're friends now... I'm glad I have a friend because if I didn't on the first day I would feel like a fish out of water. Suffocating and being watched by everyone.

And on top of that there are some HOT guys in my grade!! Yaaaay~~ With only 4 guys in my grade last year it is a giant leap of wonderfulness. So yeah. I have to ride the bus but I'll live. Unforunately it gets here at 7:30am so I have to get up at like 6:30am. That's 4:30am Washington time :C Gross. I hate getting up early.

So yeah this year I'm a FRESHMAN!! And apparently at the school I go to all the upperclassmen have their own pet Freshman. I wonder whose Freshman I will be...lol.

I bet you want to know about Iowa!! Well at this second it's super super humid and so I feel all sticky and hot and nasty. I want to shower really bad...I definitely will do that before bed haha. It smells like pig crap in some places but for the most part its tolerable. Either that or I'm just already used to the nasty smell haha.

I look out the window and I see my yard with like pretty trees and grass and stuff. And a huge cornfield. I look across the road and I see my mailbox. And a giant cornfield. You just can't escape the cornfields unless you're in town haha. It's sorta weird.

I did a little bit of school shopping the other day. I really need an iTunes giftcard. Not really relevant but it's something I need to go shopping for. So yeah there's really not that much else to say. I went fishing today with my sister's boyfriend Kris and his friend Colby. Caught one and had to set it free because it wasn't 15 inches. Iowa law. Lameness lol.

And Mexican candy for it.

Now I can enjoy the long sunny days and sleep in.
Except unfortunately it's been quite rainy where I live lately but still the idea of summer is nice.

ATTENTION EVERYONE: I'M MOVING!!!
Yeah, that's right. I'm moving from my current home in Washington to Iowa to live with my mother and half-sister for a year. Pretty exciting! I'm really psyched for it. I'm going to come back to Washington though after Freshman year ends. But still, I'm happy for a new beginning. I've needed one for a long time.
Too bad it's not California, though. I love Cali. Home is where your heart is, right? Well my home's in Santa Cruz, California.
Unfortunately the rest of you doesn't go with your heart always, which sucks.
Basically what I'm trying to say is that I get to move with my mom for the first time since my parents divorced which was when I was four.
This is going to be a really good experience!
It's going to be a little bit strange though, because I live in a small town and go to a private school in it so it's like 10 people per grade and now I'm going to a public school in a big town, so I think it will be a big difference.
I'm going out there at the end of summer vacation on like August 16 or something. Whenever the county fair ends. I can't miss that!! But school in Iowa starts on August 25th. It'll be a tight squeeze but I believe I can make it work.
So that's what's new in my life.

Today was a good day, I suppose.
I was bored most of the day but then Drew got a hold of me and we came over here to her house and chilled out and had dinner and walked her dogs to the pond and back.
Yesterday I got to go babysit a little kid named Dustin, which was nice.
Except I got totally ripped off.
I WORKED FOR 6 HOURS AND GOT PAID $20.00! SERIOUSLY WTF.
But I had fun so whatever. And they fed me dinner. Mmm taco salad.
And on the third day of summer vacation I got in trouble and was grounded for a day, which wasn't so bad because a day is nothing really.
Yeah I bet you want to know why I was in trouble, you little gossip queen/king you...
I lied to my dad. No big deal really haha. I don't care.

I hope to have a good summer. I'm going to summer camp for 2 weeks in a leadership program, which should be interesting.
Not that I'm not really a leader already.
Then my grandma and aunt are coming up in between end of camp and beginning of fair.
Then I'll have the fair.
And then I'll go to Iowa.
Yay Iowa!
Then I'll probably experience my first year of high school in a totally new environment and quite possibly hate every moment of it.

My right ski just stopped and the rest of me kept going. Next thing I know, I'm missing both my skis and I'm completely flying through the air...I did about two flips and lost both my poles in the process. I landed completely sprawled out in the snow.
Oh, and I lost my goggles and hat, too. It was that bad. Joe and Jed snowboarded down to me really fast and I was convulsing...They asked me if I was crying and I turned up to them and I was laughing my ass off.
Ahh, I'm such a psycho. I laugh at my own pain lulz. ^^
Anyways, that's basically what happened but it was soo awful. I had to ski all the way down the rest of the mountain and Joe ditched, so Jed and I went down.
Soo yeah. I might have splintered my shin but I definitely bruised the bone. Ouch. But that's basically what happened.
Lol, I'm gonna get it checked out tomorrow. But apparently I was still feeling well enough to learn how to swing dance when I got back to the lodge.

I thought that my last journal was going to be my LAST journal of the year, but I decided to make this one too.

For all I know, I could make hundred more before the year is out lol...

Anyways, it's Christmas morning and I'm in California with my dad, aunt, uncle and 2 cousins. It's not all sunny but I can guarantee I'm not having a "white christmas" this year...

Maybe a rainy one, though.

I have 2 cousins, Kiana (19) and Justin (14)

I've been having a pretty good time so far. I mean, when I lived here I was with my cousins 24/7 practically and Kiana was my babysitter and Justin's. That was when I was 6 and Justin was 7 or 8. And of course, Kiana was 13...grrr

She loved to torment us. Everyday she would think of some way to make us do something awful. She kinda reminds me of Vicky from The Fairly OddParents, but she is a lot nicer than that of course. She isn't evil anymore btw.

Anyways she used to like make us do 100 situps and stuff and everyday was "workout day" and it succckkkeeed....

I hated fruit back then (luff it nao) and she knew it. So one day she and Justin tied me to a tree in their forest and force-fed me apples. It was really crappy lol.

She has a strange sense of humor, I guess...

But yeah, it's been good so far. She tried to lock me in a closet and force-feed me baby food (she loves it for some really weird reason...only the fruit ones; apparently they taste like applesauce?) but somehow I got away before she could get me in the closet.

HAHA SCORE ONE FOR LEXIE!! yusss

Well, that's my story. Nothing really special has happened to me so far, just playing lots of video games with Justin and escaping Kiana's evil clutches.

Makes me wonder what her parents were doing when I was tied to a tree...and what made them think she'd make a good babysitter for me lol.

Lexie is going to visit her relatives in California for Christmas. Lexie doesn't live in California. Lexie lives far from California. Lexie has to take a plane to get to California. Presents are normally wrapped. Lexie's dad does not want to wait and wrap the presents when they get to California. He also worries about Lexie finding her gift when he packs it up. So Lexie's dad decides to give Lexie her gift a few days before Christmas. Lexie gets a laptop and has a flipcow!! Lexie finally has a computer that doesn't hate DA. Lexie can submit more deviations of her weirdnesses. Everyone is happy, because Lexie has a laptop and she can use it to be on DA more often...

Okay, so there I was, sitting in a pink chair and this lady is like "okay, I'm gonna clean your arm" and i was like "OMGGGG" well anyways I sat there. Drew came along, of course...

I really didn't like her, she was like "look, i have to catch a boat and if you're not going to want the shot now, then we can reschedule it for another day" and i thought to myself ^{what a bitch...} and wow it was kinda retarded...

So she stabbed my arm really fast and it didn't hurt it just felt like someone was poking me kinda hard with a mechanical pencil...Then I thought ^{YAAAYY ITS OVERRRR} and of course, as usual, I was totally wrong.

I still had to get the Tdap shot. GRRR...so yeah i got that one too and it only hurt a bit more than the other. I was pretty happy that all of it was finally over. (Drew of course was in the corner snickering at me the whole time...)

So then the EVILL lady left me, my dad, and Drew in the room (that smelled like plastic and sick people) and said "If you want, you can have a toy before you leave." Which of course was like the nicest thing she probably has ever said in her entire life because she is a total impatient bitch..

So we walked over to the toy drawer and i picked a tabby bendy cat immediately and tried to leave the sick people room and Drew took like forever.

She looked at this thing that said "plak smacker" on it and she's like "oh they have a plak smacker" I said "what's a plak smacker??" and she was like "idk, apparently it smacks your plak" and i was like "ok wow, that's a toothbrush..."

She was like "oh.."

And we've been laughing all the way back to where I am, at school, lol dont ask why im here cuz there is no good reason...

Drew came too and it was a little better with her around...but you'd be surprised how you get tired of people when you have to be around them for five days in the wilderness. Yes, the wilderness. It wasn't little campsites in a nice quiet forest. It was the freakin' wilderness. It sucked major "bootox".

I shared a tent with Drew and this other girl named Melisa. It was okay for the first few days, but that was when we didn't have to backpack. I actually didn't mind it at all and I thought "Well this is an easy trip..." and boy was I wrong!!

The last night, we forgot we had some food in our tent...and when I remembered I told Melisa, who was the only one who actually hung up her food on the bear thingy. I did not want to go out alone, so I woke up Drew.


BAD IDEA!!

If you ever need to do something with Drew, you had better make sure she is awake...She got so mad! Looking back it was kinda funny...but at the time it wasn't. Seriously, she will think of any excuse to get people to let her go back to sleep.

And on the 3rd night it rained really hard and our tent flooded a little bit. Lucky for me, I was in the middle!! teehee~

Well that's about it! That's my retarded school trip, and I'm sure there are way more to come. Hopefully they won't be as stupid as this one though.

It was a hot day, so Drew and I decided to go swimming. First we thought we'd go swim in a lake, but the lake was way colder than we suspected, so we went to a pool. After hours and hours of fun in the water playing games and laughing, we went back to Drew's house. While in the car, Drew's mom got a call from her dad saying Waldo (Drew's amazing, beautiful, intelligent golden retriever) wasn't feeling well. He hadn't been able to keep down any food all day long, and he was beginning to worry. So we sped to Drew's.

When we got there, Drew's dad was on the phone with who I would later find out was the vet. After he hung up, her mom walked over to him and he said something in a whisper and she started to cry. I told Drew that I thought they were going to put Waldo down. I didn't realize at the time how right I actually was...

Drew's dad, Steve, told her to go in her room with me too and her puppy, Rupert. Drew refused. She told him she was going to go with him. He wasn't going to stop her. She owed it to Waldo. So, I went with them, knowing Drew was going to need someone to hug really badly. It was really sad, because they put Waldo on a blanket and hauled him into the car, using the blanket as a stretcher.

After a teary-eyed car drive, we were in town. Phyllis, Drew's mom, asked me if I was sure I wanted to go with them. I was positive. While we went to the vet's, I thought about how much fun we had when we were on a trip. Drew , Waldo, and I all went on a trip and we played at the beach with him. We threw rocks into the water and he chased them. He was supposed to be on 'bedrest' but instead we gave him the best trip he ever had.

At the time, we had no idea it would be his last.

When we were inside the vet's, the vet lady explained to us that we were giving him a gift. We were ending his suffering. With that, she gave Waldo a shot of clear stuff, like water, in his side. I started crying. I didn't know if that was the stuff that killed him or not, but it wasn't. After 10 extremely long minutes, the vet whipped out a buzz-cut razor thingy.

She was about to shave his paw and give him the lethal shot.


I couldn't take it. I left the room. I couldn't watch a defenseless animal die, even if it were for its own good. I waited in the lobby with a black cat who's name was Winnie. After a little while, I came into the room to get a tissue and found that Waldo was gone. Drew was crying and holding onto his neck. She was sobbing her eyes out and so was I.

Even though he was already dead, I petted his flank and said "It's okay." Drew just kept saying "It's NOT OKAY!!" in between sobs.

It was a very very very sad day, and I won't ever forget it. We just kind of left after that and the vet said she would take care of the body. I guess she was gonna cremate him or something.

After that, we went to the store and bought tons and tons of comfort food. To give you an idea, Drew's parents spent $20.00 on just jelly beans. As a matter of fact, I'm eating those jelly beans as I tell you this story. They haven't run out yet.

Anyways, I think the saddest part is the fun I had with Waldo while he was alive, and knowing I won't ever get to see him again. Ever. I miss the trip we were all on when he was alive and well.

I hope he had the best last trip of his life. I'm glad I got to be there for him during his last moments. Well, his last few. Like I said, I didn't stay for the last shot.

So yeah, school started the day after Bumbershoot and it has been okay so far. One of our teachers is a strict beyotch but I'll deal with it. Maybe she'll motivate me to get my butt in gear. You'd be surprised how I actually enjoy school where I live.

I get to see the band I've been obsessing over for the past year-LIVE! Ask any of my friends...well actually ask Drewzers and Tina. They're the only ones who know me well enough.

Anyways it's really exciting and I can't wait. I don't think I'll be able to sleep the night before...is that normal before concerts?

me too. and no, i don't have any wise advice to give you about it, because thats what i'm doing. sitting in front of a computer typing letters that dont make much sense.

why couldn't i just cut to the chase? i'm bored.

so yeah i have absolutely no idea what to say. I got back from sucia with Drewzers and it was a pretty awesome trip. if you've ever played Pokemon Ruby version on a Gameboy then you would understand how hard it is to defeat the elite four.

well i had so much time on my hands for a period of time that i did it.

but the game didnt end...it goes on.

i wonder if the Japanese ever run out of ideas. are they just sitting in a big white room with labcoats thinking of the next million years it will take to solve the newest pokemon game?

umm i went to the fair and it coulda been better but i wont complain. it was much awesomer than just sitting around my house being a lazy butt like usual.

and ya i got a new computer monitor (or rather my old one because my newer one decided to not work and so ya now i have an old school gaylord)and it sucks because it doesnt really fit the computer itself becaues there is a big old black bar on the side and its retarded like forever.

not much has happened out here except my dad is being weird and like he says i cant date anyone until i'm 16 and then he has to come with me to the movie theatre or watever too.

WHAT A HOARBAG! he's gayer than kevin the mystical gay blind dog...

I have two stories:

Shocked by Lightning!
and
Pool Humiliation...

Okay I will start with
Shocked by Lightning!!!!!

I went down to the river here with my sister, Chantel, and we went tubin' on the river. It was a really nice day and we were like a long way down it (past quite a few rapids) when big black clouds came and it started pouring down rain soon after. And if that didn't suck enough, thunder and lightning stared up and eventually the lightning struck the river and we got struck by lightning. I've told this story so many times by now that it isn't even a big deal so I'm not making it sound very cool or scary lol. Then we got out for a while cuz we were pretty freaked out and then we went back in and climbed up a muddy bank and our mom was all freaked out becuase we were in the rain so like she was there an hour early with my step dad...
then we got pizza. The end.


Ok that was a dumb story but i swear to god it happened. it was soooo startling.


Pool Humiliation...

Before i got struck by lightning with my sister we went to the pool and this kid who was like 11 or maybe 12 walked up to me and asked if i wanted to hang out afterwards. He was obviously hitting on me. It was so awkward i hid behind my sister and eventually said NO. then later i was eating nachos during a break and he tried to rub my shoulders and i slapped him lol. and then he walked away and left and came back again and i went on the waterslide and he was with his friends who were prolly the ones who dared him to hit on me and he was like "HEYY BABY!" and i glared at him and mouthed "F U" and went on the waterslide and then my sister (who was finding this quite amusing) and i went to the DQ and had a malt and a cookie dough ice cream. (yum) and yeah thats my story. i was embarrassed.


looking back on it, i shoulda just said "sure, u can take me to ice cream. BUT U HAVE TO PAY!" that woulda been better. lol ok well i will fill u in on more iowa adventuers later!
