I took a lot of pictures, don't know if I'll upload them all but I'll definitely pull out a few that I really like.

Okay, LONDON.
I finally tried fish and chips. I went to this place in London on Baker street called the GLOBE. and HOLY HELL theyre fish and chips were amazing. I went to buckingham palace, the british museum, london tower ... big ben, but that's the boring stuff you don't want to hear about.

and PARIS.
Yeah so I went to the Louvre, another palace place, saw the Eiffel Tower, and I have some beautiful pictures of the tower to post. The Louvre is huge, it took us an entire day to go through that place. They had some really nice art there. But more importantly, I tried STEAK TARTARE.It's like raw ground meat, and as nasty as that sounds, the place I went to made it really good. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try escargot -- my dad said it wasn't too good anyway, so I took his word for it. I had mussels there though, and I'm not much a fan of sea food but I had to say, the mussels there were very good. But desserts, holy hell, I had a dessert waffle and that sounds really simple, and it was really, but it was just so good. And of course their bakeries were full of delicious goods. You don't know what a croissant is until you've gone to paris. They make croissants that are like crispy and flakey ont he outisde but get soft on the inside. Lol I sound like a food critic ... but what else do you go to PAris for!

So yeah, I'll be around all summer, don't know how much I can go on the computer though. I hope you all are enjoying your summer.

Oh and who won Britain's Got Talent? Not Susan Boyle! Not Shaheen! DIVERSITY. They were good. They're dance routines are so creative. Although Susan was great as usual and the saxophone player as incredible. I wish America had that talent.

I'm flipping out because school isn't out for another like 20 days. But after all the testing and crap, it gets better. Hellooo, summer.

Anybody watch Britain's Got Talent? Normally I hate reality shows, but this one's good. I know I'm American (and unfortunately, America's Got Talent is horrible, the judges, the acts, everything -- America's not very talented), but I go on the itv website and youtube to catch up on everything. And I know there are a lot of you from Britain here, so. Anyway, lots of incredible acts, but some acts that made it to the semis were ridiculous. Like the Star Wars guy, the DJ, the guy who swung like a trashcan hooked to his ears (btw, that was disgusting). This is who I think have great chances of winning:

watch out for a long journl..

so aabout two and half weeks ago i suffered a rib injury. during a soccer game (and mind you i'm talking the high school team, which does have huge seniors and juniors and i'm only a 13 yr old freshman twerp... ) in slide tackle attempt, i slipped all the way onto my back and along with me came someone from the other team and his elbow jabbed right into my ribs. sounds like a pretty pathetic way to get such a bad injury, but the truth is truth. so yeah i went to the emergency room, told me i broke a few ribs.

and they don't make you wear a cast.you just gotta suffer.there's really no way but for it to heal on its own,. they wrap your chest isntead and, yea, prettyy uncomfortable. ive had to take lots of medication lately, mostly painkillers. i've been in bed recovering for a while, and these recent few days of going back to school literally felt like hell. breathing hurt like hell. moving fucking hurt like hell.

so today i finally got myself to a laptop and tahnks to cheesefreaak i'm here on dA lol. haven't really been in the mood for drawing, or making tags, or getting on the computer even. so this makes up for those recent weeks i've been gone. and i'm seeing a doctor tomorrow morning, so i can wake up a little later tomorrow, which is why i'm taking the time to write this. yes i do have a bit of hw to be catching up on instead of doing this. fortunately some teachers understand what i'm going through and they're giving me less of aburden. well, others, they feel theys hould be giving me more sincei missed a few days of classes.

like i've said in past entries, the mood icons don't show up, so it's been stuck at nutral. but if i had to describe my mood ...it'd be fucking miserable

The US brought home 110 medals - 36 gold, 38 silver, 36 bronze. Well I'm proud to say that I'm glad my country got the most medals, but all the athletes did great. China, 100 medals, and 51 GOLD MEDALS! That's incredible. China was really great this year. The opening ceremony wowed the shit out of me, the closing ceremony wowed the shit out of me as well. It takes a shitload of guts for any athlete in any country to be able to particupate in the Olympics and to be able to do their best under all the pressure.

We all know Michael Phelps? The dolphin shaped like a human? Wow, so much recognition and fame in two weeks. That 1/100 of a second win was so impressive. Athletes like him are real role models. It's amazing that he used to be bullied as a kid from what he looked like. People like him are real aspirations to be able to go through all that and still be able to pursue their dreams. HELL, he's a chick magnet AND an athlete now. It is a shame that he was unable to be at the closing ceremony in Beijing - he was in London instead. And is it just me, or have a lot of you been noticing that famous people's parents split up when they're young. It must be awkward knowing that your ex-wife or ex-husband is the father or mother of a famous celebrity and feel regretful for leaving someone with such great talent and success.

I'm also glad the USA basketball team was able to get gold, and redeem themselves. Kobe, Dwayne, and LeBron did amazingly well. [hehe, did anyone see Dwayne Wade's lay-up in the finals, where the ball rolled loose from his hands very early in his drive but still went for a lay-up with no ball in his hands XD] But yeah, they were really impressive.

And at 16, Shawn Johnson was able to take him a gold medal (was it gold?) is extremely amazing. AND those little 10 year old chinese gymnasts were able to do so well too. Wait til they actually ARE 16, and they will be beastly. Personally, I thought Alicia Sacramone was the best gymnast. She fell a few times, but again, it takes a lot of guts to get back up there. She was just great. And I feel bad for that gymnast that started before the green light and get a 0 score for starting before the judges said so. that's bullshit is it not -_-. She did so well, and judges docked every single point she could have gotten that time because she didn't start the right time. Sure, they have rules, but that's just a little bit cruel isn't it o_O.

The Olympics actually felt a little short. Two weeks to accomplish so much. So congrats to every athlete in the Olympics for doing their best, gold winning or not ;D.

So yeah I just went through like 250 deviations, since, being the lazy butt that I am, I wasn't able to look at them when you first showed them. I have like ... 285 left to go, a few of them being pretty recently updated. So yeah, I commented a lot, and there were also a lot that I looked at but didn't comment. so, let me assure you, I will get through all of them. If I don't comment on them, you'll know that I at least looked at them.

I just got my wisdom teeth extracted this morning. Felt terrible then, and especially right after the operation, but now the pain's subsided, thanks to the medicine I've been taking. Most of it anyway, just a bit sore right now. And yes, I'm young to be getting my wisdom teeth removed, but it was because the teeth above/below it was getting in the way. Of course they put me to sleep and all. In fact I was awake talking to the surgeon after the anesthesia, and then next thing I know I'm waking up. I don't remember anything in between O_o.

I'm feeling a little bit drowsy, but since I got the whole day off from school, fine by me

Assuming that most of you are older and maybe some of you have gotten this already, do you know when the drowsiness or soreness in the mouth will subside completely :S? My older brother got it like maybe two years ago, but he's not a lot of help lol.

THE MAIN POINT of this journal was just to say that I've rearranged my gallery a little bit to make it more eyecatching. If you take a look at my dA gallery (click Browse Gallery under Recent Deviations) and you'll see I did some reorganizing and rearranging. You can still see all of my deviations, they'll just all be in certain folders. The featured only shows less than half of all my deviations so that visitors only see my best work x3. And that they don't need to rummage through pages to find some of my best work.

And @Cheesefreeak, I don't quite remember what journal it was in, or where you said it, but we were going to have an art trade quite some time ago. Unfortunately, my poor memory fails to recall what I was supposed to draw x3. Refresh my memory ... ?

I'm probably going to try some more things like that puppy that I drew. But, I'm kind of busy now, and I doubt I'll be able to make a whole lot of drawings these days. I'll certainly try when I have the time though.

I'm the drummer in a band, and during one of my fills, one of my drumsticks snaps in half in the middle of the concert. I wasn't embarrassed, it was actually kind of funny lol. The crowd thought it was funny. There was an intermission, and then I had to find an extra drumstick, and I did. And ironically, the sticks were a good quality brand. Lol ...

Recently I hurt my knee during a soccer game, which didn't give me a lot of opportunities to go on dA or draw or anything. I didn't feel like doing a lot, so there you go, an explanation to my inactivity.

I know I haven't been very active. In fact I have about 140 deviations that I have yet to look at, and nearly 60 messages I have yet to read. I might get to them, but I'm just letting you all know that I appreciate all of your work.

You don't have to read what I'm about to say, but if you want to get a feel of what I'm feeling, I suggest you do. Perhaps you feel the same. I hope you do. This little speech is just so that you get an idea of what I'm seeing. I know most of this might seem like I'm complaining to you about what I'm seeing. It's more than that -- at least what I'm trying to get across ...

Recently on AQ, I spotted a tag created by someone who OBVIOUSLY used my "Everything Lost" tut. It was basically a rip of my tag, except the person did not physically take my tag and call it theirs, but instead followed every single part of the tut and remade my tag with the same stock, same colors, same lighting, same placements of effects, same text, same text placement. I can't say that I'm not annoyed by this, because I am. I created the tag. He just remade it using everything I did. That's not what I call making a tag. And that's not the purpose of following a tut. It's one thing to follow a tut and get some ideas from it, and it's also another to get some influence from others' tags and tuts. I already see some of my friends getting ripped and I felt terrible for them. Now it's me. When people copy my work and claim things that I did as theirs, I don't feel appreciated. And now obviously, someone does not appreciate my work from this act. That is why I'm annoyed.

You see on AQ, not a lot of people care so much about how good of an artist they are themselves, just that they have a good reputation. And people there will do things like ripping and copying just to a get a higher status and reputation on AQ. I tired of people like this. I'm not saying that everyone on AQ is like this, I'm saying that there are people like this. What's the point of being an artist when your "work" is not something YOU created? Nothing. And that's exactly what the person obviously can't see. What is with this? On dA all people care about is being a good artist and being the best that they can be. Well, why isnt that so on AQ?

And now that things are changing, what's going to happen then?

I probably sound very irritated and annoyed. Well, I am. Not at any of you, just of things that are happening. there are other things going on in my life right now. Everyone goes through these things, terrible days in life.

Evidently, things are not going too well for me. Hope you understand.

ANYONE WHO IS NOT A MEMBER ON THE AQ FORUMS CAN IGNORE THE FOLLOWING:

Apparently, I've been gone a while, not only on deviantART but also on other forums, and anyone from AQ, can fill me in on some of this. The new change is actually kind of disappointing. Approve artists? Imo, I don't think there should be a requirement of being approved for anyone to be able post art. I have a feeling this isn't going to be going in a way that would please me. It's disappointing for me because the Digital Arts is being 'torn down'. The DA was like it's own little place. And now it's being combined with everything else. I'm not that active there, but it still matters.

I've been working on a tag recently, on and off. mostly off

. And I've been able to think of some ideas for some pencil drawings, but they never came around. Hopefully I'll be able to make something this next weekend. I've already wasted away this weekend

Those of you from the AE forums know that these Neopets were drawn a while ago, but just posted them on DA.

In case you're all wondering why I decided to just suddenly have cute little Neopets invade my DA, it's because I've run out of animals to draw, and Neopets are very fun to draw (give it a try, folks ... seriously).
