Or TRYING to sell our home I should say. Cleaning like a mad women for a showing at 9:00am who doesn't show up, that sort of thing. It has been a little overwhelming from time to time and finding time to spend on the computer is coming few and far between. I hope to come back on here someday, but now is not the time. I am going to let my subscription run out, and renew when I know I will have to time to use it. I'm so sorry for those who follow me and are so amazing to me and my work. I just don't feel like I am doing much to contribute these days. I'm bound and determined to get back to normal...please bare with me.

We are so thrilled to have Cru home and healthy!! He had his two week check up on Wednesday and has gained almost one pound and has grown and inch and a half!! HOLY MOLEY! My husband is a big guy, so the doctor kidded me about Cru's football career and following his Daddy's BIG footsteps. We'll see!!

Maddie is adjusting to life with a baby brother. She LOVES Cru and wants to help all the time. However, she has shown a little animosity towards me. Which I know is normal, but it doesn't make things easier. She misses her Mommy one-on-one that's for sure. We are going to go and get our nails done together later, so have a little girl time. She's a great big sister for sure. I hope to do a shoot with the two of them soon.

I am packed and have the bags by the door for a quick get away to the hospital! I just can't believe that he's almost here...it's just NUTS! Washing tiny blue clothes the other day, reminded me of when started washing Maddie's little clothes. It's amazing to me that she will be 4 this summer. WOW...time. Where does it go?

I feel like I have been a really bad friend here on dA lately. In fact for the past few months really. Faving and not commenting. Adding to collections and not commenting. Not personally thanking each and everyone of you for your support. I have turned into a dA slacker... Which I swore I was never going to do! Life has taken over...life, aka kids. I hope to get back into being really active once again, someday.

We are currently in the COLD of winter here. And it begins... I am now 26 weeks along with this little guy and feeling fabulous!! Maddie is super excited for the Christmas season and really wants a lot of snow to play in. She asks for everything she sees on TV for Christmas, so that will be challenging. I am feeling the baby move, which is SUCH A RELIEF. Maddie is so stink'n excited about being a big sister. She hugs and kisses my belly everyday. Says "Hi little baby in there". Just melts my heart. We are enjoying the crisp fall weather and busy going to sporting events. My Husband Tom is being honored by his High School and being inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame, which is such an honor. We both went to High School in the same town and graduated with 500+ in our classes. So, to be chosen, is so amazing. I'm very proud. I am staying busy with shooting weddings, families and of course kids. My favorite. Life is good. BUSY, but good.

I miss you all, and hope to get more active again soon. Much to my dear dA friends. Thank as always for the 's and comments. If I don't get a chance you personally, please know that I'm so very great full.

I have not been feeling well at all lately, which is some of the news. I am again, pregnant and doing really well this time. I am 11 weeks and counting. We have seen the little heart beat and I hear it every week. I am so high risk, that I'm going to the doctor every week...A pain, but I will do anything at this point. I guess I just haven't felt like shooting or posting to be honest. I also did something on here today that I have made a point of NEVER doing and that's clearing out my notes with out responding to favorites added. I am so sorry, but I have absolutely no time and it was nearing 500. It overwhelmed me and I deleted them all. You all know I am so very thankful for all of the amazing comments, support and love from my dear friends here.

I guess I'm posting this to really say thank you to everyone and really to let you know my activity will be limited here for a little while. Just until I get some energy back!! Hugs to you all and much love.

I also celebrated my 6th wedding anniversary with my amazing husband Tom yesterday. We have now been together 14 years...Yeah, High School sweet hearts. Not there hasn't been their fair share of issues, but I will say we dig each other more today than ever before. Even with my 29 year old wrinkles!! He's 4 months younger than me, and believe me never lets me forget! I hope everyone is have a wonderful week. This artist has completely taken me. He does these pieces with a BALL POINT PEN. Are you kidding me??? I have watched the process of his most recent of Johnny Depp and it was truly amazing. The really cool thing is you can click on a link and watch a clip of the whole process.

What I hate more is trying to get Maddie to understand that she now has to wear more than shorts and a tank top outside. Now she must wear pants, sweater, socks, boots, a coat, mittens and a hat. I had my first Ultrasound yesterday and we found yet another little one has been raised up and is now with our loved ones who have passed. We have dealt with this in the past, but it's still never easy. For some reason this time around, I am much more angry than I have been in the past. Honestly, almost feeling a bit selfish in the fact that I have done this times before and am just really sick of it. I know that there is a larger plan and I am not in control, but I'll tell ya when it's your body that has to deal with it, that is a much "easier said than done" statement.

We are so very blessed to have our little Madilyn. Words can't describe how much she has already helped me with these times. Not many of you know this, but we actually almost lost Maddie in the first month of her life. She was born at a 4lbs. with a rare blood disorder that actually caused her little body to go into cardiac arrest. Those were the hards weeks/months of my life and puts other tough times into perspective. Now when I look at her running around and giving me those faces that I love to capture, I can't help but be so thankful to have her.


I want to thank you all for your wonderful support and kind words. I can't tell you what it means to me to have people I have never even met praying for me, and asking me how I am. Makes ya have a little more faith in this world with amazing people doing such things.

I am in awe that people rip off other people's work. I spent last evening putting a damn water mark on most of my images. I can not stand the look of water marks, but apparently they are needed more than I really believed.

Little stinker....

The Rules:

So, I thought my first journal would be something profound and wonderful....nope. I just need to say out loud and due to the fact that you all are the only ones "here", it's freak'n COLD out here! I need to see some pictures of the warm places you are all from!! It's -9 with a windchill of -26 here today. We can't go anywhere anyway, our garage door is frozen shut. Just insane. Schools are all closed due to the temp and the fact that the roads are sheets of ice. I'm certain many of you deal with much worse, but holy cow...it's a cold one.
So, I have a favor to ask of you who are basking in the warm sunlight. Just smile at the sun today and think of that poor chic freezing her butt off in the good ole U.S. of A.
