That said, I am likely to be getting on more often now than previously. As of my last journal, absolutely nothing has changed other than everything. I'm no longer working on elbiB ehT, I'm only rarely taking pictures, I'm rarely working with Apophysis, and I will not ever be drawing or using Terragen again. However, I will be starting work on a few new projects, and will be posting as often as I have things to post. Journaling and commenting more often than that, and maybe handing out more favourites.

Many groups/people on my watch list are about to be thrown out the window. As I won't be getting on often (in theory), I'd only like the few I really like to stay watched. Having 600 or so deviations from watched accounts when I log on is really annoying.

That said, you should see some new fractals from me at least once a week now. I'll try to update more often, but... Well, school's eating up as much of my time as it can. I'm also going to try to go on some shoots with my friends, so you ought to be able to look forward to some new photos... tentatively set to next weekend (or probably soon after).

I've got a ton of deviations from the people I watch to go through, so please don't be offended if I can't get around to looking at all of them.

To promote tweaking (probably the most fun thing to do with Apophysis), I will now supply the flames of any of my fractals upon request. I will also be posting the flames for my fractals in their descriptions systematically. Anyone wishing to tweak of my fractals should feel free to do so, but must keep a few simple rules in mind:

:bulletblue:Rules::bulletblue:

:bulletred:1) You are not to render any tweaks of my flames unless you ask permission.

:bulletred:2) You are to credit me in any posts of rendered tweaks anywhere with the creation of the orriginal flame.

:bulletred:3) You are to notify me that you are tweaking one of my flames.

:bulletred:4) Please leave the names of tweaked flames as close to the orriginal as possible, so everyone will know which flame you tweaked.

:bulletred:5) Please do not post the tweaks on the page of the deviation, post them here instead. This will make finding them a whole lot easier for me.

:bulletpurple:This isn't actualy a rule, just a guideline. Please tweak anything you find interesting that I've done. Even if you don't get something you believe worth rendering, please post it here, so that other people can tweak your tweaks. That's the fun part!

Breaking these simple rules will result in me taking down the flames from ever description of my fractals, and adding the name of the deviant who broke to rules to my banned list. Deviants on the banned list will be denied requested flames, and will have permission to post tweaks removed.

First off, I plan to use Where the World Ends as one of them.

I'll have to re-render it larger, and with a higher quality, but I'm fine with that. It still is one of my best, and my favorite.

Fourth, and the final fractal I'm currently thinking about, I want to use Ragnarok. It's probably the busiest fractal I've ever gotten, and everything in it just clicks perfectly.

I'm waiting for the next *Apophysis Weekly Theme Event to be announced to I know what I ought to be working on in Apo next, but it won't be until next week, so I just have to sit tight for a while. I'm really bored with straight Julia flames, but I love the Julia effect, so I'm going to be experimenting with a lot of mutli-variation flames. There's still a lot to try with Bubble and Julia, so I need to do some more work there. I'm also considering Cylinder and Julia, and I'll exeriment with pretty much everything.

I'm going to be experimenting with the new journal options I get for the next week or so. Eventualy I'll get a header made, and maybe a footer to, but until then it stays as is.

Terragen is still way outside my thought bubble of late, my camera only slightly closer in. I'm still working on those drawings, but nothing besides the first has come out well at all, so it'll probably be the only I scan and post. My problem is having way too fscking huge an Apo muse right now, I'm almost dreaming Apophysis right now.

Oh, and if anyone knows how I could possibly get my hands on the 2.03d pre-release, I'd be very grateful. I've seen some of the stuff that's come out of it, and I really don't want to wait.

I'm now making my own flames, and, as I have stated, the Julia variation is really, really fun to play with. The first (and currently only) order of business is creating some Julia-based flames similar to those ~2B2H did, and have been a great inspiration in getting me away from the boring randomly generated flames.
I have a feeling the next order of business is more work with the Bubble variation, as I really like it.
Also, if you like flames, you ought to go check *Zueuk's Apophysis work, he's bloody amazing.

I haven't touched my camera or Terragen in a while, so I don't think anything in either of those categories will be submitted... Well, maybe not at all this month.

That said, I'm currently doing some rather abstract, if not very good, pen drawings at school (out of sheer boredom). The first was very good, and I think I'll get it scanned by one of my friends and have it posted, but none of the others are really worth mentioning. Especially the second, it was way too forced. If this muse stays with me, expect some more.
On the drawing subject, I may do some more zen art during this period, although I doubt the zen will involve drawing this time. In actual art news, I haven't picked up my camera all week. Everything I'm around often enough to take pictures of I've already taken pictures of. I plan on going on a walk tomorrow to find some better things to take pictures of, though.

I just downloaded Apophysis 2.03c, and it's really buggy. I may end up not using it at all, but we'll see. My newest deviation, Tropical Flower, was made using it. I also have another that I was trying to render, but my computer froze in the middle of it.

As I'm now officially staff in =TerraGeneration, I'll probably be using Terragen a little more now. But, again, we'll have to wait and see how this actualy works.

Also, I have just joined *Apophysis, and will probably be submitting at least one of my Apo resources to them. Anyway, I haven't at all worked on elbiB ehT, because I'm lazy. Most of my poetry sucked, and I've been posting photos and fractals as I get them.
Terragen I'm not really working with, just because I don't like it quite as much. I'll probably get bored in a few months and do some more work with it, but not very soon.

elbiB ehT is sort of on hold until I can figure out what I want to make the first ten Commandments. But that shouldn't take long, I just have to look up the actual Ten Commandments.

Photos, fractals, and Terragen renders may be sporadic the next week or so, I've got a bit of homework I need to do. Procastination, although fun, doesn't really pay off in the long run.

I'm going to have another Apophysis resource up fairly soon, centering on symmetry. It'll just be a pack of all the symmetry-based flames I've saved, and all the raw images from the one's I've rendered.

I'm also planning on putting together a submission to the Progressive Harmony Contest ([link]), using The Fallen as my base image. I have less than a month now to finish it, so expect it soon. That's the main reason I'm posting this, the others being relatively minor.
I'm continuing work on elbiB ehT, but it's taking a while. I've finally started Book 2: Teh OldSchool Testaments. I look forward to being able to post Chapter 1: The Thirteen-and-a-half Commandments sometime this weekend.
I've been doing a poety project for Lit these past few weeks. Once I turn it in (date TBA, as I don't know it yet) I'll post a few of the best poems I wrote, hopefully.
I've taken quite a few new random photos, but probably won't have a chance to get them on my computer for a few days. I'll try to update sometime next week.
As for Terragen and Apophysis, I'm not really working with them at this moment. I've got a good bit of other stuff I need/want to do first. But I'll get some new stuff up ASAP.
