I should get drawing again, really... But... Let's just say the lack of confidence still gets me down. It's odd, yes, that I can actually name the problems I have with myself, and yet not do anything about it; that's where the fail comes in...

In any case, I've been watching K-On!, the anime that's been about and being really popular, mainly because of a particular character, Mio... Regardless, the anime itself has been epic win the last 13 weeks... It's a pity it's ended so soon... 3 months later... Hah. I still don't understand why Mio's so popular... I mean, she's... got a really cute personality, and the way she reacts to certain things are simply... as you might quote the characters in the anime itself, Moe~ Moe~ Kyun!. Okay, I guess I do understand after all, but regardless, I believe she's overrated >_< I still prefer Yui~! Klutzy and plain cute, Yui's the one for me, yes! Believe it or not, I'm actually waiting for the Yui version of Fuwa Fuwa Time XD~

Well, anyway, still up for Commissions, although I doubt anyone would be interested in an artist/colorist made of fail like myself... Either that or I should really make it more obvious~ I mean, not everyone takes their time to read my ranty, occasional posts, right?

In any case, looks like some of you guys noticed the new piece I put up; I'll be working on her on and off, because, honestly, I'm not sure if I'm all that motivated to continue doing any work...

So... Uhm.

Okay, I think I'll open up for commissions, but mostly color work. Chances are that, I won't be able do most sketch/drawing work, because of my apparent lack of skill >_<;

Soo... Price will be completely up to the requester, since I'm mainly doing this to be motivated. It could be some in-game money from some obscure game that I might be playing, I don't know, but I'll generally just take cash transfers, and the like, I guess. To keep things safe, I'll just keep commissions open to only people from Singapore, and if any people from outside of Singapore requests for pictures, I'll just see what I can do; chances are, I'll give it to you for free, with my "Philosophy" that art is meant to be shared and appreciated.

Three girls are involved here, so I'll just label them as Girl A, Girl B, and Girl C, for their privacy. Girl A would be the girl that has now labelled me as an E-stalker, Girl B being a separate person whose Photobucket had been... invaded... by me, and Girl C being one of Girl A's best friends.

Let's start with the MT Forums, where I first heard of her existence. I was practically a new guy on the MegaTokyo Forums, my interest piqued when someone I met off the m33w-fansubs c-box told me about how Fred, the artist of MegaTokyo, was fine with fanartists taking his lineart and coloring it. Me, having no talent whatsoever in art, but still interested in it, joined the MT forums shortly after coloring my first piece, also found in my DeviantArt Gallery. So, time passed, and eventually I got to know of a number of talented color artists, including this girl, Girl A, each of their productions fascinating me. It wasn't long after that I followed Fred himself after getting my own twitter account, and followed a number of other people on the Story Discussion Fan Works board.

Initially, I never even know Girl A had a twitter account. It wasn't until I saw another follower/followed friend of mine mentioned something to do with Girl A's name to her twitter account. Having followed other MT forums participants as well, I thought, oh, why not follow her as well? It became a big mistake, apparently. Having seen her twitter profile, which contained a link to her DeviantArt page, I clicked, and also, since I had a DeviantArt account since then, this one, and being somewhat of a fan of her work, I started to DeviantWatch her. It would be just fine, until one fine day, I happened to read, on my main twitter page, that Girl A had applied for a few characters for a couple of Role-Playing communities on Livejournal. Having been interested in Role-Playing for a while, and having had no experience in it in real life otherwise, I went on to try one of the communities she mentioned.

There, I tried to be friendly; something of great contrast to what I am normally like in real life, starting as a character that I happened to like alot, in a game I've started playing recently, back then, and speaking to a number of other players in the Role-Playing community. I talked about all sorts of topics, until one... dreadful, perhaps... day I happened to chance upon the topic of personal information, so to speak, asking two girls, Girl B and C, simultaneously, about a bit of their personal information, digging through Girl B's Photobucket, talking and speaking openly to her about it (she never said anything about it bothering her personally, while I also asked Girl C about her friend, Girl A, the following being the exact conversation:

Girl C: sup
Lifinia: .. wao I didn't know she had a fanservice icon o.o
Girl C: Huh?
Lifinia: Oh, never mind
Lifinia: Just looking through things XD
Girl C: Like?

On a slightly more cheerful note, Chinese New Year has just passed, so here's greeting a Happy Chinese New Year to all Chinese Deviants out there!

First two days of the Lunar New Year weren't bad! Red packets amounting to approximately USD$200(was actually about $300) from relatives, not including my father, who also gave another USD$120(was actually SGD$200). What's more, I won about USD$80(about SGD$120) playing blackjack with my relatives, at my grandma's place. Wasn't bad, wasn't bad... Maybe I'll be able to reach my target USD$50,000 to settle in Japan after all...

Now, to wait for that unit to arrive, even if it might kill my grades for a couple of modules... I can't get any work done without my laptop... The desktop doesn't have the necessary software, and also CANNOT detect USB devices... For god knows what reason... Argghhhh... The problem with custom-made things my mother buy from shady people...

When I think about Dev's Mood and what you're doing thingy there, I'm actually wondering: Why the hell do they expect us to be READING, WATCHING, PLAYING, EATING or DRINKING ANYTHING while updating our journals?!

Ah well, at least I -did- do something yesterday... and touched up the perspective piece a little more today... Seriously, that thing really kills me... Doubt I'd really finish it until a few months later... Lol... I mean, I can't really draw lines on the Wacom, so I'd have to hold shift and click spots for lines... Because it's Photoshop... Using the line tool on Photoshop = Shape Layers... which... is troublesome to work with... for someone like me, who doesn't know how to work with them well.

Ah well... Oh yea, did another sketch earlier today, which is probably just a continuation of something I did before; I added the body to the head of a girl I drew a few weeks back... Lol. Now then, digitizing the image properly will take a hellotta time... >_<''

Well, either way...

Today was a boring day, as usual, so I wasted my time away on RA3 (Red Alert 3).
RA3 wasn't bad, other than the fact that I get errors during campaigns, which causes my game to exit by itself... Irritating. I had to waste my time on skirmishes instead... Lol

In between, I got really bored, and, just by looking at that bottle right in front of me, thought, "Hey, why not?", and sketched it out on my wacom tablet Bamboo Fun a6.

Bleh, doesn't look -very- nice, but it's acceptable... sorta... I didn't even shadow it >_<''
