Finally, I knew what to do.

I would create a group based around Gives Me Hope [link] So, I emailed GMH, got permission, and created the group (though, sadly, not in that order). I recruited some moderators and came up with a purpose.

The only thing missing is members. Care to join?

(dA-GMH) is a group dedicated to sharing what gives you hope and also to giving hope to others. We don't have much right now (created this afternoon and one submission) but we intend to have more soon.

Updates
I have finished ~AtrishA's picture, but I have no scanner. I am in the process of coloring Mimi's picture, but I'm also trying my hand at doing it digitally, so it's taking a while. ~kerirae's banana is drawn, but, again, no scanner. I haven't started on anyone else's art yet. However, I have winter break in a week, so I'll have time

I have a lot of pictures of my BJD, Asha, and I just need to watermark them before I will upload them. Expect a lot of art from me before the end of January.

I've also decided that I might write about my characters. Once I decide what direction to take them, and get parts written, I will post them there.

Sketches will be placed in 's gallery, because 's account is only intended for photographs of nature, and this is my older account that is currently a place for fanart and stuff that's not too good.

These will be SKETCHES, meaning pencil and paper. HOWEVER, I tend to get carried away, so what you get MIGHT be in color, and it MIGHT even have a background. I mention this because 's mermaid is full color with a background... Whoops...

1. - chibi Vincent Valentine Status: gathering. I have the reference pic, need to start drawing.

2. - mermaid Status: FINISHED! I just need to upload it.

3. Shea- no dA account, but requested something during class. 1800s Italian girl. Status: I don't know how to make her look Italian. I'll figure this out after I draw Vincent...

4. - shuffler Status: not started.

5. - a Mexican banana with maracas and a sombrero. Status: not started

6. Mimi (doesn't use her dA, so no link)- her and her boyfriend, him hugging her from behind. Status: mostly finished with the sketch. This will be full color. I'm moving this from commission to a free sketch because the deal has changed. She won't pay me because she won't have the money for a while, so now it's a "thank you" gift since she constantly buys me food.

Why did you join this site?
I think I joined because I wanted to put my art up. I don't really remember.

What does your username have to do with you? Is it a combination of your favorite things, or a character of yours?
My username came from a story I was writing at the time about an underground gang trying to spread Harry Potter, despite it being banned around the world. I even had my name listed as my character's name for a while- she was going to be the one to lift the ban on the books, so I became the Lifter of the Ban.

What is your current icon of?
A drawing I did on the back of my scratch paper from a science test. I still have the paper- I pinned it to my wall, and if you look on the back you can still see my formulas (though I've forgotten what they're for... -_-'

This account has my older stuff and my silly stuff. It was my first account and I only kept it because I can't delete it.

No clubs. I'm planning on participating in a contest, but I'd have to remember to work on my entry, so that might not work out...

Mikan and Natusme- a fanart I did a couple Christmases ago when I got the first volume of the manga. It's a okay pic, nothing great. I messed up the colors... (they're supposed to be in red plaid, not blue yet)

Again, it's been about a year since I last updated. Since then, I've gotten my hands on my first BJD (Bobobie Mei I've named Asha) and am heading into my junior year of high school in about a month.

My parents have divorced.

I had a boyfriend.

My dad got remarried.

I turned 16.

I learned to ride a quad.

I discovered that Macs are not evil, and that I actually like them.

I can't think of anything else major. Hmm... Let's see...

Aside from my other account , I recently created another account I also got an account on LiveJournal [link]

I plan to start using it. I'm not sure exactly what I'll put in it, but anything important will be there. Much easier than trying to update the journal on 3 accounts.

On a side note... I GOT OVER ONE THOUSAND PAGE VIEWS!?!? Why did I not notice this sooner? I feel so oblivious...

Been a little while since I've updated.

The Cosplay in the Park bombed. And not in a good way. Nobody else was able to make it, so my dad, brother and I went to lunch instead.

School's started up since I last updated. Tomorrow begins my third week.

I'm interested in getting some BJDs by the time that I graduate in 2011. I'm looking to get 5 of the MSD/Kid Dollmores and 1 of the Model size. I even have a plan for getting my first 4!!!!

I'm going to buy one myself (almost halfway there!), get money from my dad to buy two (he's going to give me some money for dolls when he and my mom get divorced...) and I'm going to get my grandma to buy the Model doll when I finish reading the bible.

After that, I just have to save up for the last two ^_^

If anyone wants links to the dolls I'm planning to get, feel free to ask ^_^

OK, so I haven't updated as I said I would, but, in my excuse, I haven't been able to get my scanner to cooperate. So, this is just to let people know that I am still alive here! Woot!

What I'm really updating about is this June 14.

I'm hoping that I can organize some sort of Cosplay in the Park.

P.S. For those who know that I cosplay Matt from Death Note, I'm getting a new vest by the middle of next week! I'm so happy! My wonderful friend Katey is making it for me! It's almost finished now, and it looks really awesome for a first attempt at a Matt vest. Definitely better than my old ski vest that I have now.

It's very fuzzy.

Not sure yet though of where it should be. That park is definitely a good idea, though nothing will be set in stone until Sunday evening/evening of the 7th.
