Oh wow... I've so been neglecting on my deviantart (and my Youtube and my myspace). I haven't posted a journal update in over a YEAR! D: But not to fret friends, I am still alive and kicking. Now I have posted a few deviation semi-recently (in the last 6 months), but deviantart has not been my top priority as of late, (as you can tell by my lack of a subscription ) and for that I am sorry.

Since I have been so busy, you can imagine that I have a lot of stuff to tell you (of you do not have a lot of time, please come back and read this later, it is a bit of a long story).

First of all, I am now street legal! Yes I turned 18 this past year and will soon be celebrating my 19th birthday in december. I am (as you can probably tell from the title) a college student now, and am living away from home in my dorm room almost 500 miles from home. You'd think for someone like myself, who likes to be independent, that this would be great. However, its only to an extent. I like having the freedom to stay up till every odd hour in the AM, I like not having to take orders from anyone (well, except my RA & RD but they haven't bothered me much), and I like being away from my parents to an extent. However the main reason I am upset about being 'round .5k mi from home is I am away from my boyfriend and its driving me crazy!

My boyfriend is someone who payed for last years dA subcription, known as ~Goldfang, who I met at work. Back in my days at Rite Aid, which I am no longer working for even part time, I met him in August of '07 and we started dating after my first Christmas at rite aid back in the beginning of 2008. We've been going steady ever since. He is a gamer and artist like myself and I miss him terribly (if your reading this honey I <3 you).

Oh right, I didn't explain why I'm no longer working at rite aid... Yeah.

Okay so back in 2008 in the fall, I started getting colds a lot, which I thought was just allergies acting up, but it was not. After getting allergy tested (ow... needles ), I found out that I was not allergic to anything (or at least nothing common). The doctor believes that I have a condition that makes me more susceptible to common colds than the average person, an immuno deficiency, which made the doctor suggest that I get out of place that have lots of germs, namely my place of occupation. My boyfriend had quit not long before (just after reaching his 1 year mark), and my grandma made me leave. Now it wasn't my mom because I was living with my grandma at the time which i will get to momentarily. I was reluctant to leave, but grandma wouldn't drive me anymore, and although my co-workers would miss me and I would miss (most) of them, I had no choice. Now, as for my "condition" it is not life threatening to my knowledge, its just frakking annoying, and the fall into winter time of year is the worst, when i fell sick most of the time .

Now as for why my residence during that time was at my grandma's house is a bit confusing. Okay so in 2006, my family, meaning my mom, my step dad, myself and my cat, were all forced to vacate the home we had since i was 10, due to the place of residence needing to be taken up by the church (that we lived next to) for their new minister. So we needed to find a new place to stay, and in the town (and school district) I had lived in almost my whole life (i had lived in another town for about the first two years of my life) had no affordable apartments or houses to rent. However, there was a place to stay in a neighboring town that was out of our school district. As i didn't want to change school districts, I asked if there was some way I could still stay in the district. I worked out a deal, where I would live at grandma's part of the time and live with my parents part of the time, which worked out okay. Then in late 2008, when we couldn't afford the rent anymore, due to some old loans coming in and putting a stress on their relationship, so my parents moved in with a friend about 20 minutes away, and I moved in with my grandparents in order to stay in the district. A large reason I have been so distant is because of my addiction to veoh.com and its large amount of anime's subbed and dubbed, free of charge. I've watched a few (around 20) episodes of Bleach, Fruits Basket and Trigun of late which does eat up a good amount of free time (sorry, I need to stop with that ), but it is helping keeping my sanity intact at least.

Another big reason is I got myself yet another page on a site, this time youtube. I know its bad... but I have some animations from my computer graphics class that I would like to post on the web, and I don't think deviant films would much like them. Plus I got me a webcam! Now if only I could get the audio to work...

Probably one of the largest reasons it something that began over 2 and a half months ago. No no, I'm not pregnant (don't panic people, its not that scary), but it is pretty surprising. I have a boyfriend! Yeah, those paying close attention have noticed but that's like 1 out of 35. He's the reason I have a webcam, and he's been really sweet. He bought me flowers before our first real date, and he's very sweet. He's my number 6 on my myspace (but that's only cause my parents are most of the top 5). He and I have known each other since August and we met at work. He's a good guy and I care a lot about him. So yes, that is a big reason. Also, he's got me into playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl which doesn't help me get on too often. But I'm happy when I with him at least.

Also, because of work I got a decent amount of cash from my tax returns and was looking into the market for a tablet. Can anyone recommend a good one that costs under $300? Thanks guys.

Ok, enough excuses! I need to get back to work and start working on my projects needed over this break. I've got a Zelda costume to complete a history project to do, a huge packet to work on and Cello to practice! See you all soon

Though I think that I’ve improved greatly in this year (though it isn’t quite comparable to most of my fellow deviants), I’d like you to be able to judge for yourself. So in the next month or so (depending upon when I get the computer) I will be posting quite a bit.
I had a splendid holiday (and Birthday, though hardly anyone remembered), and hope the same can be said for you. In addition to the scanner I got money, DVDs (FMA, InuYasha, Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix, and Pirates of the Carribean: At World’s End), Games (Final Fantasy VIII, and Paper Mario: the Thousand Year Door), Coffee cups, a new shirt,2 Naruto mangas, a Best Buy gift card, a necklace, 2 tickets to see Spamalot (which was amazing by the way and utterly hilarious; if you haven’t seen it I highly recommend it – that means you Timmy), and I am America (and so can you) by Steven Colbert. I feel so spoiled *sigh*

Spamalot was amazing and I could not have had more fun this Friday going. I may have been stuck in Rockefeller center for a while but that did not dampen my mood. We (Grandma and I) went to a nice Italian restaurant for lunch and walked around to see the sites (but it was cloudy so we didn’t go on the Top of the Rock) including Macy’s. The play was utterly gut-busting, with uproarious songs and laughable topics from many sources. The song “always look on the bright side of life” was in it, there was a silly surprise in the beginning, even the overture was funny! Best. Musical. Ever. Well, comedy musical anyway.

Speaking of musical, I went to go see Sweeny Todd, and it was excellent as well. If you don’t mind the gore or gross stuff like that, it is a must see. The music is charming, and there is even a rather funny part. The acting was excellent as well, and I loved Johnny Depp (as usual) and Alan Rickman (he can sing, who knew?)

Now is the time of year when reflect upon the year past and make promises for the coming year. Here’s mine:
1) Become a better artist, and not just in drawing it, with color and computers too.
2) Time manage better. Honestly, I’m horrible at it because I can’t always focus on what I should be doing. It’s the curse of the Sagittarius to want to freely follow your heart and not be tied down.
3) EAT BETTER! This is a biggie. I never have time to eat healthy meals because I’m rushing everywhere. I want to lose this belly fat and I will, even if I have to cut out all my favorite cheese snacks!

I had planned on revealing my return on Wednesday, when I had requested off only to go about 40 minutes from home to go to an open house that had to do with the change over of my store. Our chain of drugstores has been taken over by another chain of drugstores, making it one of the 3rd largest in the country (Eckerd is now Rite Aid). However, this did not end up happening because I was filled with self-loathing... because on Tuesday night, on my watch, 5 minutes before the store was about to close... the store got robbed. Before any of you throw a million questions at me and start freaking out, I have a few questions I'm answering right now. 1) NO, he did not have any sort of weaponry 2) YES, I am perfectly fine (unless you count the fact that I am traumatized for letting this happen) 3) NO, I don't remember exactly what he looks like 4) YES, he stole a lot of money 5) NO, I don't think I'll loose my job. I'm really frustrated that this happened, and I just couldn't deal until now to post something. Please, I'd rather not talk about specifics, but I felt like a real failure. I'm just glad I had someone there to give me support, Danny who used to work at my store (he went back to college), really helped me out that night.

Another thing that really helped me out recently was playing Kingdom Hearts II, which I finally finished last night. It was amazing, and I really hope that there will be a third coming out. I probably will be doing some fanart (the Nobody Dragoon, Axel, and Riku are the top on my list). The story was deep, the game play was awesome and I could not get enough of Riku (you get to have him in your party near the end and he's the only one who helps you beat the last boss!!!!!) Halloween Town, The World that Never Was and Port Royal were my favorites, especially the part before Sora goes to see Santa. Hallow Bastion also was a lot of fun and there was just enough humor for my taste. Unfortunately, my game play was delayed for about a week, because my disc was scratched and I had to rent a copy from Blockbuster to finish the game. I still loved it.

The newest Harry Potter Book was excellent, bittersweet, dramatic, fast-paced, full of plot twists, and very dark. I am officially now a Snape fan, and I loved the Ron and Hermione moments. I really loved it. I could go into a full fangirly rant, but I don't have time for that.

If you're wondering what the departures are about, I'm headed out to see my relatives in Ohio on Monday, so I'm not going to be able to be on for a while. Just to assure you, I have been drawing a lot and promise to get stuff up before I leave, I'll be staying at my grandparents for the next few days, because my parents are going to a hippie fest on Thursday, and I will be able to figure out WTF is with my scanner. Okay, so don't kill me!

Oh, and before its too late, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEVIANTART!

Also, one last thing before I go, to all baseball fans, Barry Bonds just broke the home run record, and I got to see it.

I'm relatively satisfied with my grades (though the fact that I was so close to getting a B in Spanish is extremely annoying). right now I'm working a bit less than 30 hours a week (in two weeks I'm getting a big fat paycheck, which gets me all the closer to a new computer, a scanner of my own, and a tablet). My parents will soon get me a wireless router so I can go on the internet in the privacy of my own room (and no, I will not be looking up dirty things, so get your mind out of the gutter!). I recently acquired a web-cam, so I may decide to get a youtube account (guys, don't kill me...) as soon as my parents hook me up with that wireless router. The reason I haven't been scanning, besides the fact that I have work, is because of the fact that my grandparents have it and I'm not currently staying there. I may have some pictures on my memory stick, but I may be disgusted with how crappy they look (becuase I think I kicked my art up a notch, thus heightening my already too-high-for-my-own-good standards). Forgive me. I will try to post today, since I am off of work, but around 5:30, I have to go pick up my check and quickly cash it (in its meager amount, this check was in my last week of finals and the week following it, where I had only worked 28 hours in the course of 2 weeks). I have other commitments as well as work, the main on being school, and I really didn't have the time to fill you in (I shouldn't even be doing this now, I've stayed home the last few days because I don't feel well AND I haven't finished my project for math ). Finals are in a week and I'm in a frenzy. I NEED to do well, but I'm really nervous. Oh and by the way, the winter concert for my orchestra was canceled, but the spring one was pretty good. On our group competition that we do every year with other schools in our state, we got a gold (but not with distinction, its alright though, this is the first time we ever got a gold in high school orchestra, with a new teacher to boot, and our high school's been around for about 10- 15 years). I got 5th chair (of 13) which made me happy (and nervous),
but the stress of cello has been whisked away.

My job (luckily) is at a local drugstore, and I work as a cashier. It gives me a chance to work on my acting skills, because you have to be pleasant to all the customers, and I have to be super nice... because I'm not all that knowledgeable on where things are I've been there 2 months and I still don't know where thermometers are. The guys there are asses mostly, but one of the assistant managers, Mike, is really nice and laid back. The other one, Joe, is a bit more of a stickler, but he's pretty nice. My manager Erin is really nice and lax, but she's never around when I have my shift. Arlyne (hopefully I spelled that right) is the expert in the worker store, and she thinks I'm doing pretty well. Jess is new(er than me but you wouldn't know it), but she loves to drive me nuts (like a big sister, you could say, she does help when push comes to shove). I'm the youngest in the store, but I, made it here thanks to my stepdad who works in the company. The store is not too small, but were switching over to a new company soon, so we're going to have to re-learn the store. It's certainly not a bad job, I get paid about $235 on average every two weeks. I put 100 away, and the rest is mine to have fun with.

However, in all this suckyness, there is good news! My new computer is finally done, and will be sent to me sometime before mid Feburary. I can't wait, this willl finally clear up some space in my room (because I've been storing my computer stuff in a place where I could be putting other stuff).

I had a great time in Ohio, spending time with all the animals (lotsa people have them there, at least in my family), and my little cousins (I got a bruise or two from them climbing all over me). I went to Mass (which I cannot remember the last time I went to) in order to help out my older cousin with her kids (and also, Grandma gave me $16 to babysit) and it was acutally kind of intresting (though slightly awkward being an agnostic who had just reread Inherit the Wind). I spent some time with the relatives too, it was good seeing everyone around this time of year (and some of the Ohians ahve an awesome Christmas display). I also played a bit of Zelda: Twilight Princess which was beyond awesome, I love the wolf form you get to play, and having Epona around most of the time is great (plus not having to memorise all the songs in nice, it's specific to the peice of grass you play). Midna is awesome, and having the characters older gives the game a more serious feel, especailly Zelda. However, Midna keeps things light, though some of her hints are pretty useless (for example: "Now all we have to do is find what we're looking for!"). Ugh. The contact with animals is cool, but the odd thing is, the chickens aren't afraid of you in wolf form. You would think they world be. The transformation could have been more detailed (and slower), but I still love that game.

Now, all that may be cool, but that's not why I'm so giddy. I got a ton of neat stuff (and everyone liked thier presents from me). I got: Forever by Judy Blume (whos books I have never read), A Subcription to Jane Magazine (so I actually know what girls are gossiping about), $100 gift certificate to to Fashion Bug, $75 gift certificate to Mandees (Happy Bunny here I come), the first 3 books form the Warriors: The New Prophecy series by Erin Hunter (all of which I've read already), a $25 gift certificate to Borders (which I can use to buy the last 3 in the series), the first Eragon book, A VCR for my room (trust me, this will come in handy), a flash drive (which I can use to store deviations on), a FMA callendar, A RuroKen and Naruto Manga, a FMA and InuYasha DVD, Ultamate Avengers 2 (I didn't ask for it, but oh well), Eveanesence's Fallen, James Blunt's Back to Bedlam, Pirates of the Carribean 2: Dead Man's Chest on DVD, Tickets for a NJ Nets Game (where we lost but I got an Offical NBA Basketball signed by Jason Kidd *squeals*), a gift certifacite to a comic store (which I spent already), a My Chemical Romance CD (which was the one I had already so I returned it and got another FMA DVD), about $280 in cash (about half of which I'm spending of a PS2, and yes I know it's pathetic, but I'm getting one anyway) and A CELL PHONE! And yes, I do feel very spoiled right now. But, I just turned 16 and could not be happier (unless I had gotten a tablet, but that's asking too much).

Now, some of you might be wondering what my grade status is right now, and sadly, my spanish is still low, and the quarter's just about over. Oh well. I'll have to try harder for next quarter, seeing as the school won't let me just drop out. It hasn't killed my average too bad, I still have about a 91 total GPA. Aparently, if I get most of this junk drilled into my brain, the Regents (State exam) is going to be really easy. If I can manage to get an 80 or above on that, then some colages will be willing to let me NOT take foreign language in collage, which will make things muche easier. Plus, it'll look great along with the 4 honors classes I'll have taken by the end of grade 11, though I haven't a clue how many I'll have attended and passed by my graduation. Chamber is also still an issue with the concert being next weekend, I really have to work out those kinks, and make it sound great, considering I'm a third of the cellos.

I am also glad to inform you, the Teen Titans movie Trouble in Tokyo will be airing September the 15th! The 2nd GBA and Second Season will be coming out that week as well, and another new DVD release has been announced: Judas Contract! It may be done in the comics style (though I don't know who will be animating it), but it's gonna rock! Rally the troops people; the protest will begin the second round soon!

*sigh* I also want to let you all know that I will not be getting my own computer until next month (just in time for the school year to start up...) and I apologize for not getting a lot of deviations up. Moving is taking a toll on me and I have a festival to preform at this weekend. I have done a lot of drawing, however, I have not been able to scan much (thought I've been drawing like crazy, and I finished writing "So Good to be Home" Ch 1, now I just have to type it). I was going to do it yesterday, but I was shopping for school clothes (a hoddie, a t-shirt, shirts, pants, jeans, a pair of shoes, a new backpack, a new fashion trendy belt, a new purse and some things I'd prefer not to say: $350 being able to get all school clothes in one shopping mall: priceless). I still have to go shopping for the actual supplies (Staples, here I come), but I did get plenty of stuff (including gum on my sandal, a mirror brush for my purse and blisters on my feet), and I'm not doing any more shopping this week (except maybe for some make-up at Eckerds).

Alright enough of me just going on about crap, I have tricked you all into looking at this journal because has declared me victim for his newest tag!

I first started drawing with Cayola and what I drew came out like crap.

In eigth grade, I first found out the key to how to drawing well: use circles, ovals, and lines to build your drawing. Yopu have to use that to make the shapes of your drawing first and the add the details.

Only this year, I have discovered how to build wings (semi-)well.

I also have figured a bit about coloring and shading, though I haven't taken an art class in 2 years.

If you haven't noticed, I have a fetish for drawing magic creatures.

I still have no idea how to work photoshop.

I have no steady painting hand and I suck at it, even though I have fun sloshing around acrilics.

I suck at action poses.

I really have gotten the hang of propotion and hands only because of my hours of comic book reading and cartoon watching.

I have worked to change my style on people over the course of the year and I have come to a style with the simplisticy of Butch Hartman's Danny Phantom, and the body type of Teen Titans and InuYasha, along with a compalation of anime and westen styles on they're faces.

I'm really trying to master the styles of others in my fanart.

Oh, and if anybody knows anything about tricking out cars, they will be able to help me out with chapter 2. I will really apriciate it.

Oh, Also, I hev been seeing a lot of great sequels these past weeks, and I highly Recomend Pirates of the Carribean 2 (but you should watch the original before, otherwise, you may get confused) and Clerks 2 (pure and utter hillarity, you don't even have to see the first one, the only charicters that are the same are Jay, Silent Bob, Randal and Dante, no Caitlin Bree or Veronica and the recap the important points of the old movie). Also, F&F3: Tokyo Drift is awesome, especailly if you love Japan (only thing it has to do with the others is racing).

1) When I start packing/ cleaning I get psycho about it.

2) Whenever I go into a room that suppoesedly might be mine to move into, I usually think it's small when it's square.

3) I tend to space when I'm on the phone and on the comptuter at the same time (and apparently I make funny noises) too...

4) I hate using Tablespoons, they're just too big to eat anything with!

5) I don't get sick very often, but when I do, it's really bad.

6) My feet are very sensitive to heat and cold. Usually if I touch you with my bare foot, it's like ice.

Oh, by the way, I FOUND A HOUSE! I'm so glad, we're signing the lease on Sunday and then we can start moving in next week.

I’m so HAPPY!!! Finals are over, school is out, and you what that means! That’s right ladies and gents, boys and girls! I finally have more time for dA, and will submit more! I will also have more time to work on fanfiction, and I will be submitting the first chapter to a long awaited (sorry for taking so long) sequel of “The more Things Change” [link] real soon. I am halfway through writing page 12, and this story will hopefully be updated at least every other week.

I don’t know my exact grades yet, but I will let you all know soon, however, I do know that that Earth Science Regents was exhausting (we had to do it in the gym, in the summer heat… not fun…), but not extremely challenging.

I promise I will get to all of the people's galleries that are on my list, I'm gonna get to it real soon.

I think the worst is already over; I really hope this isn’t the calm before the storm… If you’re confused, I bet you’re not the only one (in other words, let me clarify). I’m talking about most of my exams being over, however, I don’t know if the last one will be the hardest one yet. Here’s the schedule:

June 1-2, and 5-6: Comprehensive Foundations of Music (83)
June 13: Global History 9
June 14: Spanish 2, English 9 (which makes no sense, why put the two languages together?)
June 15: Math A
June 16: Earth Science

I know that Spanish and English are what really had me worried (mostly Spanish, I have difficulty remembering foreign vocab), and they weren’t that hard. However, I’ve no idea how hard the Earth Science will be (Math is easy). I hope you all can understand why I haven’t been submitting lately. I also have the impending move (which I made some headway on, the desk is organized and the stuffed animals, which I refuse to give away, are packed). I also have my sanity o keep in check, and to do that, I need to have some time for me (translation: I need to watch cartoons and read fan fiction so I don’t go psycho).

I promise that when my exams are over, I will submit lots of things to make you happy (and I’ll be sure to post something tomorrow), and I hope to have all of my submissions in my folder in before the move (August 1st, just a reminder). I've been trying to make up for prior lack of posting with a surge of it now. I have some pics in my folder I consider dA worthy, and if I can clean that out early in the summer I have no excuse not to practice (other than artists block). Hopefully I can post tomorow, I've go no time tonight because my bitch of a spanish teacher gave us online hw with 74 questions with translations (the 74 is in that count and I suck at those). Plus she expects us to do a rediculus amount of corrections all in one night. Plus I have englis reading still to do and a test on the Odyssey tomorow. Tension is mounting, especially with regents exams less than a month away, my concert being next week (and NYSSMA for my orchestra), as well as a project being due on the 23rd. I really am freaked.

This weekend was fun. I went to my first sweet 16, hosted by my 10th grade friend Kim (who's friends with ~SFAngel and ~Phsyco-Bunny, they came as well). It was a lot of fun. We ate, danced, lit candles, mummified our friends and shared memories. I was exausted afterward though. Saturday I cut my foot on glass, but I'm ok. Sunday was boring because mom was sick, but I got my room cleaned.

Me and my freind Jill were thinking of Starting a band, her on guitar, me on bass (I'm learing the electirc), both of us singing along with Lauren, and our friend Kim diong our photography. I'm also the official artist . I have wrote a song for us to sing, and I will post it as soon as I photoshop the drawing I did to go along with it. We're still looking for a drumer, although we might have a second guitarist, Michole. We have the tenitive name of The Outsiders.

Speaking of photoshop, I need to photoshop the +1000 hits, since I found out when I got home form cello lessons I have attained my goal. I should be able to post it by my 6 month dA aniversary. Hopefull by a year I will hav over 2000 hits.

Also, I preformed in NYSSMA this year and I am in level 5, and I did much better than expected. I got a 93/100, and the main problems I had were bow hold, intanation, and expression, as well as doing horrible on sightreading (7/10...) I'm still very satisfied and I'm glad I did so well, I thought I was going to do horrible!

Edit: My favorite Basketbal team just one playoff game 5!!!! We are 3-2 in the seires our lead!!! LET'S GO NETS!!!

I have been tagged again by the honerable so here goes!

EVERYONE That reads this journal entry have to do this things (unless you really hate these kinda things... then you can skip over it...):

I've been pretty busy lately, however, since my 10 days of vacation (no, not 2 weeks, ten straight days of doing what ever tickles your fancy including weekends, I am in day 4 right now) I've finnally been able to relax and not be pressured. All of my bloody tests and essays are done (just have a lab left) and I actually have been exersizing!!! Yes, you heard me right: exersizing. I went for a walk in the woods with Remo on Sunday, yesterday and today I went for a walk by the shoreline (while listening to my Zen Nano), and I did a lot of walking when I went shopping yesterday for an oufit for a friends sweet 16. It's actually quite refreshing, and since I do it in the morning (yes, I only sleep in till 9 in the morning! and I get up at 5:30 on school days! You all probably think I'm crazy by now) I don't burn my entire day away by doing this. I think I'll start doing this in the summer time too (which to my relief is only 1 school quarter away!!! The lst day of school is June 23, and I am so happy about it!!!). Another thing that makes me gleeful is that a few of my grades have gone up, and I also have made the high honor roll again Even though my spanish went down 3 points (bringing me to a 77 ), a 99 in Orchestra, a 98 in Gym (Physical Education for those who like to be politically correct) and a 98 in Comprehensive Foundations of Music (better described as Music History) has mannaged to keep my total grade point average to a 90 (and my grades have not been below a 75 since 6th grade! ).

Alright enough with my party fest, It's time to move on... to a very important announcement! As you probably already know the mighty has agreed to do most of my scanning for me, and he will soon be settled in with his move to give me the JPEGs (sp?) of my drawings! Also, my grandpa has a scanner he knows how to use and he will be taching me how to do so soon! I can't wait to be able to do my own prints without waiting!!! Soon ye shall see some of my better drawings (then the lame ones I currently have posted) and my slightly improved style (though nothing compared to some of the awesomest of awesome people below).

Here goes!!!!

1) The only flavor of ice cream I will eat is vanilla, and if there is none of that and I want an ice cream like desert, I will just have plain whipped cream!

2) If I made a sundae with all my favourite sweet snacks, the only way I would eat it is layer by layer.

3) My favorite way to have eggs is without cheese or meat, just with ketchup on it; except when it's egg on a biscut, then I won't have anythoing on it, just hash brows with it (By the way, I'm talking about McDonald's hashbrowns, not frozen ones ).

Ok... now that I got that out of my system... It's time for a real update.

Recently, as you may have heard, my step grandpa died, but he had a big party beforehand, so he got to enjoy his last day. I hated going to the funeral, but it wasn't as showy as most Christian Funerals (he was Jewish) and I got to learn a bit more about Jewish culture. One of the things I learned is that the imediante family is supposed to stay together (so I didn't see my step dad for about a week) and cover all the mirrors in the house. Still it was far away enough that I managed to enjoy myself at I-CON (I deal with my problems by tackling them when need be and forgetting about it later).

I had so much fun at I-CON this weekend, I got to meet Vic Mignogna (who is super nice and funny, and the voice of Ed) and I don't care that I had to wait 2 hours for his autograph!!! *is hyper* I also got Ruroni Kenshin Manga vol 9, and 2 packs of Magic (the Gathering) cards (and now I can really kick some ass!!!). I also saw the majority of Chronicles of Narnia and got lost on Campus (Stony Brook University)!!! Dressing up as Kagome was fun but I only saw 4 other InuYasha cosplayers (1 InuYasha, 2 Kikyos, and a Miroku). I did happen to see a LOT of FMA cosplayers (like 12 Eds, and 4 state alchemists) as well as some Narutos and Vash the Stampede (Trigun). The 2 days I had off for Superindendants Day were boring, and I didn't even get to sleep in (Some birds and my cat woke me up at 8:30...) I also left my hw for the last minute again (because of my hw-Nazi teachers...) but at least I got to enjoy I-CON.

Ok, now it's time for me to annoy you with all the awesome people I know...

In the meanwhile, I have been drawing a LOT, including to OCs, more fantasy stuff, DP fan art, and InuYasha fan art. Also my mind has been concocting ideas for fanfiction, but besides the sequal to TT: The more things change [link] that I have started, I have wrote nothing down *gets ed by fans of her writing* I'm sorry, I haven't felt too inspired to write lately. I'll get to it eventually...

In other news, I am planing on atending a local convention called I-CON (It's Island Convention, not International Convention Of Nerds!) in two weeks, but I have yet to obtain my costume (I'm going as Kagome, the only reason why I wouldn't go as Raven because there's no way in hell I'm showing THAT much leg). The one guest I'm very excited about is Vic Mignogna (Voice actor of Dark from DNAngel, Toxic from Peacemaker, and, most importantly, Edo-kun from Full Metal Alchemist!). Because he is coming, yesterday I went to the comic store, and in adition to the 8th volume of RuroKen manga I procured, I also got the first four episodes of FMA on DVD!!! I have a DVD I can get signed Speaking of DVDs, I still have yet to obtain HP: Goblet of Fire...

Also, I might not be on as much, my mom is now making sure I earn my alowance, which means I have to wash the dishes, take out the garbage (and it's more of a chore for me, I have to go down the stairs of the aprtment, walk behind the barn, up the hill, and to the dumpster next to the graveyard) and do dinner once a week... and do the kitty litter once a month ah well, at least I'm earning my five bucks....

Some new people came into Warner Bros. Feature Animation - new bosses
- and as part of their "We're here, we're the bosses, get used to it"
they had all of the existing shows come in and re-pitch - the
producers and writers had to come in. It didn't matter if the show
had been on the air for 10 years or 5 years or if it had only run 3
episodes - they had to come back in and re-pitch it.

The producers of Teen Titans, which I really think is one of the
greatest shows out of Warner Feature Animation in a very long time -
and I'm not just saying that because I work on it, I'm saying it
because it has this amazing crossover appeal to little kids and to
teenagers and also to - you know, there's even some college-age kids
who like the Teen Titans.

They had to go in and re-pitch it and for whatever reason the new
overlords over there didn't like it. There's a petition online, and
I'll put a link in the show notes (I've got to find it) - some of my
friends from Titans emailed me the link, where people can go and fill
out this petition. If enough people send notes to the new producer
folks over at Warner Bros. they may put the show back on the air.

As for Valentines Day, I hope you have someone special you can cuddle up close with tonight, however, I am sad to say that I do not. I gave out 5 cards with little bags of chocolate to my guy friends over the past 2 days, and all I got in return was 5 "thank you"s, 2 hugs, and a promise for a gift in return tomorow. None of them could have got me a little card? I still didn't get to give out my last card because one of the guys isn't here. How can you not be in school on valentines day after we got yesterday off??? (we had one of the best snowstorms ever sunday and I was so happy we got yesterday off too, we had almost no snow all season) I'm a little annoyed, though I was pretty sure I wasn't gonna get anything (see this poem here [link]), but I was hoping to be proved wrong. Oh well, another sweetheartless valentines day to add to the record.

Now for my opinion on season 5's ending episodes *spoilers*

In all it wasn't quite as good as prior seasons. I loved some of the new charticters introduced (like argent and jericho, exepect to see them in my fan-fics) but you won't see them probably much any more on the little screen... I aslo loved how BB got to be the big hero and the great plan that the used to infiltrate the Brotherhood's HQ. I totally loved when Raven was keeping an eye on Teether, Timmy and Melvin, making sure they were safe. What a good mom she'll make someday... *coughchoughbbcoughdaddycoughcough* However, some things have been really bugging me. How the hell are Malcior and the Puppet King back??? I mean, Raven had Malcior in her book and she wasted Puppet King's controls whith Starfire's powers. They shouldn't still be up and about. Also, didn't Red Star die in that explosion he was in? They brought him back way to soon. I was agrivatted by the fact that the Brotherhood of Evil became like the Legion of Doom. It became too much like Justice Leauge, with the huge clash of heroes and villans. Calling all Titans and Titans together was in all decent, but it felt like it should have ended there.

Things Change was an okay episode, but it did not give me the sence of closure we needed. It was giving more questions than answers (What was that mosntrosity they were fighting? How did they beat it? Did Terra really want to forget? Was it because of Beast Boy?). It did pretty much close off the BBT hope, but now BBR didn't get any reasureance. They left it too open ended and what annoys me most is that no romances were really cemented (I'm a hopeless romantic who's POed ok?). They were nuged at throughout the seires, but nothing was really asured. in most cases, (InuYasha, Sailor Moon, ext.) at the end of a seires (be it book or tv) a romance is usually finalized and made definate (I'm not telling you what I heard about Inu!!!). This frustrates me and leaves me dying for more (I will be doing a comic in protest to TT's cancelation). *end of spoiler* I really hope the movie will give us the closure we need. First off, mt step-dad's dad was diagnosed with lukemia, (but wait, there's good news!!!) he is now feeling much better (WE HAVE KILLED THE CANCER!!! YAY!!!) but he will still be in the hospital for a while. Also, I am going to be allowed to see the Jay and Silent Bob movies now (i've seen the Clerks cartoons and am now dying to see more of the rediculous humor created by Kevin Smith aka Silent Bob)

The last things I have to tell you is Holiday-Related News.

I had a very good Christmas, The only thing I didn't get that I wanted was some InuYasha volumes 10+ on DVD and a gift card to best buy (which I only wanted to I could buy new GBASP games). What I did get however was: A Zen Nano (my first mp3 player), A bunch of new shirts (Including a Rolling Stones shirt), 4 pairs of new jeans (now I have a pair of nice jeans for every day of the week!!!), A heart neclace (which will match nicely with my yin-yang one), Charlie and The Chocolate Factory on DVD(which I watched on new years), A Good Charolette concert on DVD, Christmas With the Kranks (DVD), 2 new Greenday CDs (Bullet in a Bible, which comes with a DVD and American Idiot), the only Greenday CDS
I own, A digital camera, A memory card for the camera, A Teen Titans Graphic Novel: Beast Boy (it has his mini-sieres and Teen Titans issues 13-15 so I finnaly found out what I missed in issue 13), 2 disformed Teen Titan boble heads (Cy and BB), New pajamas (most of my old ones were destoryed at the laundramat) and last but definitely not least, The miseltoe pic from ~lynz25, which is here [link] and totally awesome. Oh and the last thing I wanted to say (before I got to premoting more people) was that my New Years eve, sort of just blew over.

I've been crazy running around, hw sux, but no it hasn't been keeping me from art, I just can't figure out how to work my scanner... Maybe I just need a program to download stuff onto... Ah well, I've been doodling alot and have made 2 good werewof pics (I plan on doing a comic that protests the cancelation of TT), an angel of death pic, a bbxrae misseltoe pic (love them) that if anyone wants to take a crack at fixing cyborg go right ahead (why does he have to be so hard...), a nessie pic and a bunch of other good pics that I have found that I did over the summer (including my demon pic....). Anywho once I figure out how to get the scanner to work I will get decent stuff up (be warned, some of my proporioning sux). I will soon post someting, and once season 5 of teen titans ends (sad but true) I will do a InuYasha Teen Titans crossover fic, and possibly soon a teen titans high school fic (and there will be a school play possibly... can anyone say West Coast Story???). I wanted to say just how wondeful this site is and this community is. Everyone has been freindly and even though I have not yet posted anything I already am watched by 3 people (thank you Phsyco-Bunny, punkychick1, and SamishiiHanyou; I hope you are reading this!!!). I will post some art (or maybe a poem soon), and I thank you all for stopping by.

Random facts about me:
1) I have been on the honor roll for 9 straight quarters now (all of 7th, 8th and the start of 9th so far) and this is my 5th consecitive time getting high honor roll (I REALLY don't mean to brag, I'm sorry if i sound braggy, i'm just happy that i'm doing well).
2) I love animals and have a cute, frisky, crazy kitty named Ozzie (after the Ozzbourne, yes) and he had a brother named Jack and a sister named Sharon. (the shelter named him but it stuck)
3) My fangirl squeal has become eeekk backwards, weird but true.
4) I am a Teen Titans adict but I don't want the majority of my school to know so I rarely tell anyone
