School's just started, and people around me are already suffering from deprivation of sleep (but not me, cuz I'm lazy)

Today was an interesting day. Began with awesome French teacher Mr. Fukazawa. Was supposed to have a test but didn't have it due to:

1.photocopier screwed up, turned sheets black

2.he gave us the test which we did before Christmas break

Went to chem and phys. Had some fun during cad. We were learning how to rig characters. In short, Tubby's alive.

After school was the best. Our school was having a grad fashion show tryout. What it is is for grads to raise money towards their graduation stuff. Today was just for people to go up and "strut their stuff". The real fashion show will require an entrance fee, and all the clothing are made by grads who take textiles. I was gonna go tryout but discovered my English teacher was one of the judge. I was going to do what Alvin and Miguel asked me to do, but Ms. Wolinsky would've killed me if she saw it. To put it simply, what I was going to do involved a scarf and a hell lot of nerves. The first guy who went was a grade 8. Walked a little too rushed with no attitude. Got up there, and out of no where, whipped out his tidy-whities, and started swinging it above his head. That was so frickin hilarious.

Out of curiosity, who thinks I should tryout for the fashion show next year? Put it in your comment!

Funny thing happened while working out. I was on one of the step-cardio machines going around 7.7 miles/hr, but when I looked at my heartbeat on the monitor, it said 50 beats/min. Just wtf. So I decided to test the machine. I thought about all my unfinished physics hw and the upcoming french test, and my heartbeat jumped to 60-70. Nearly fell off the machine laughing.

Went to the dentist today for a checkup. Sorry Erin, I didn't find the grad planning sheet, but we could always resort to my plan. Any who, you know those instruments dentists use on your teeth and it starts to spin? Well, he pressed that thing to my most sensitive tooth, and it was just painful. The sound it makes is one of the few sounds in the world that I hate, even worse than little kids fooling around with a violin on the E string (for those who don't play the violin, little kids fooling around on the E string is like dragging your nails across the chalkboard).

So tired. Off to nap, followed by *oh, the horror* physics.

Merry Christmas! I'll just go over the proper thank yous.

Thank you Erin. I promise you that I'll wear that shirt you got for me under my tux at the graduation ceremony/dance. And when I get on to the stage, I'll take off my tux, and watch everyone's reaction.

Thank you Viv and Denise for the cards, but I don't think we've been contemplating over our "plot" since we were born, Viv. And if we did, well, what babies we must have been.

Thank you Mike, Joyce, and Marlon for the candy canes. Mike, your special comment was pretty damn close to Joyce's, even though I had a hard time deciphering your writing.

Oh right, before I forget, thanks to Erin for the candy cane delivered during Bio. I think Mrs. Poon was reading and laughing at it.

Thanks to Dad for the necklaces and bracelet. Thanks to Mom for the scarf, though I wish she picked a cheaper one.

No thanks to the weather for not giving me a white Christmas.

Thank you, everyone, who wished me merry Christmas/happy holidays!

Merry Christmas!

P.S. Hope everyone likes the presents I got for them.

Ahem, I'll explain that later.

Woke up at 8:30, practiced violin for a while, then set out to Minoru to exercise. I have decided to swim+workout everyday till school begins. Got there, workout for an hour, then started swimming.

Now, as for the "I HATE CHLORINE!!!!!!" comment. I just realized today that my skin is sensitive to chlorine, but not so sensitive that I swell up like a puffer fish by a mere sniff of it, but it is enough to cause bits of my skin to dry up. And when it does, it itches and I can't help but scratch it. Needless to say, it is not a pretty sight. But it disappears within an hour or so, so it's all good.

While swimming, I had a close encounter of a "Joyce moment", except I was on the receiving end. I don't know how it happened, but I was really close to being sacked. The girl who almost sacked me was apologizing like heck, but I told her it was alright since no harm done. She was still blushing furiously as I was leaving.

Went to Richmond Centre to buy gifts for everyone, but left fairly quickly because I had absolutely no idea what to buy for people, and my shoulders were in indescribable pain, mostly likely because I haven't worked out in such a long time.

So now, here I am, going to take a nap. But before I do so, I like to wish all those who are Christmas shopping better luck than me in finding whatever they wish to purchase for their loved ones.

So...it's winter break. Feels like it's almost over, though it just started. Anyways, today was a fairly fun day. Woke up at seven in the morning (damn internal clock) and just laid in bed. Gotta love that feeling. Got bored, so got up, made a quick breakfast and practiced violin for an hour. Ate a quick lunch since I was to meet some people for skating at 12.

When I got there, it was just Pat, then Hussein came a little later. Finally, Anwar came at 1 with his little sister. Maria and Gladys showed up, but didn't feel like skating. Got tired, so stood and watched little kids skate into each other (it's not as violent as it sounds). Oh, before I forget, must mention how Pat almost killed Anwar.

We were just standing around when Anwar decided to push off against the wall and skate backwards. He lost his balance and dragged Pat down with him. Lucky for Anwar, Pat didn't land his skates on Anwar, though he almost sat on him. We skated around till 3 or so. It was pretty fun, though not many people showed up.

I learned a valuable lesson today: watch out for LSO (Low Skating Objects, in other words, little kids with big helmets).
