I'd like to thank him for his generosity and allowing me to take numerous photos of him, he's a legend for that.

if ya ever see him in Perth (mainly weekends) stop, watch, buy a cd "the Kilter Generation - Liverdance" or give him and the "amazing ashley" money, cause the two of them are AWESOME!!!

I sat out the front of my house this evening at 10:00pm to nearly 10:45pm. Still in my eyes one of the most unbelievable things that could ever be seen is right in front of you. Mother Nature is one of the most amazing and yet complex things that this world has to offer.
Most people will presume that storms, mostly lighting storms happen throughout the winter months. The months when the rain never quite holds out long enough so you can walk down to the shops and buy your milk and still remain dry. As fate would have it, it’s always a matter of 100 meters from your doorstep that the rain comes pelting down. Not just little showers of light rain, it’s full on, all out buckets of rain. Possibly because Mother Nature is watching you from a cloud going, well… they could use a bit of an exhilarating run back home, but I’ll make sure they still get absolutely saturated in the process. OR it goes the other way. You walk down to the shop, stop because you think you feel a drizzle of rain, then even though your head is SCREAMING “GO BACK YOU FOOL IT”S GOING TO RAIN” you ponder and realize you’re closer to the shops than you are to home and so continue going. Upon reaching the shopping centre Mother Nature does her rain thing and buckets and hail and all sorts come down, then as you step outside, not one single tiny little rain drop hits until you’re safely at home on the couch.
Though. The irony is this. This passed year 2006 we did not experience many winter days like those described above. We experienced some waves of heat, then rain, then heat, rain, cold, cool, warm, Mother Nature seemed to have been a little confused as to what season it actually was down here in the great Southern Land.
Though never fear, summer came around once more and the storms hit. Electric storms. Storms so unbelievably amazing that they actually upstaged the fireworks in both Perth and Fremantle on Australia Day. Mother Nature yet again astounds us with her magical power.
I’m sure any born and bread Australian will relate to the next piece of possibly over described weather but you will admit (those mostly who have traveled abroad) the storms and nights like this are uniquely Australian.
It’s hot, but not muggy, the air has a nice coolness to it, just enough so that the concrete underneath you is a fine relief to the sweltering, blistering hot day that had just passed. The breeze washes over you as you stand rather slouched in your singlet/ ‘wife beater’, shorts and the ever popular uniquely Australian, thongs (flip flops for those NOT Australian.) The house indoors regardless of how many fans you have blowing still manages to have trapped the heat indoors and so it’s nicer to be outside than in. So in all vein efforts to remain cool you step outside. Though what beholds in front of you is not quite what you expected. The sky is dark, darker than normal; it’s the cloud cover that has formed during the last remaining glimpses of light, the cloud cover that is the home to the brilliant FLASH of lighting. You stand, unnecessarily still and watch, somewhat captivated by the even, consistent, but quite, flashes of lightening. Then you see it. One astonishing almost fake, zig zag of electric blue lightening pierce the earth. The heat crossed with the dry electrical storm ahead of you makes you realize, as you relax and calm down by the evening breeze

It really is brilliant to be an Australian.
Another year has passed (nearly fully) and we are all for one reason or another still searching and seeking this internet site. Still inspired by other artists works, still amazed by the things a simple camera or pencil can create. Stunned by the love and conviction that some people pour into their works.

I'd like to take this point to that each and every person that has ever visited, seen, favourited, supported, been subject to or in any way been connected to my artwork. Thankyou... It means a lot. Yes i know it takes a bit of tolleration, just ask the girls!!! they'll tell you ALL about it....
So thankyou the ongoing support is always greatly appreciated... i want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and an amazing New Year, hopefully it all brings good wishes and amazing things to come....

i have to say... that having people come over from another country is the coolest thing in the world yet at the same time it is the most painful thing to have to deal with.
My cousin and his friends came over from england, all the way just for my 16th birthday... finally 16 yay!! hahahaha... well we had a brilliant time, had some amazing laughs at the littlest things and some very relaxing days on the beach, my cousin got burnt, on his feet and for anyone that has had that happen will know it's agoney to deal with though the little trooper did well and ended up toughing it out and didn't have a problem after that.

2 and a half weeks they were here for... 2 and a half. Then Sunday morning at 3 am they got on the plane and left for dreary cold england. I cried for ages, the house feels strange. anyone else know that feeling? the loss of something, the lack of a presense in the house? feels horrid. But if my cousin is indeed a man of his word then he'll keep his promise and return soon... which, fingers crossed, he will. Cause god only knows i miss him... i feel horrible at the moment, just wanna see the three of them again

well that's my speal done... love the boys to death, there will be pics up here soon so enjoy!!!

POWER RISERS - 10.8.06

i have in completetion learned the following things:
+ stilts are fun
+ more importantly power risers are fun
+ Tammy and Kat and power risers are even funnier
+ Passage is a cool place
+ Morbid is a cutie
+ being bitten on the neck... HARD... hurts
+ being picked up is scary
+ stacking it on power risers can cause serious injury

ok i went to the city today with a few mates to do a project on social injustices and 'street kids' and how they get effected. I quickly learnt these kids are fun to hang around with and really don't mean anyone harm they just need a chance. I met my mate tammy and she had *as u will see in one of my DA's* power risers, like stilts but fun... u can jump abnormally high in them.
She taught myself and Kat how to use them and never the less we had an entertaining time jumping about the town reeking havok... we got a warning from and officer
I met a boy by the very intreaguing name of 'morbid' in one of the drop in centres we visited... we eneded up hanging out with him.
He poked me a fair bit, ended up picking me up hugging me and biting me... interesting bunch of people the chase guys are....

i learnt that being overly cocky on power risers can cause in an awesome fall followed by and equally awesome trip to the emergency room to get tammy's arm fixed...
she broke it but the hilarity was nothing to be forgotten... needless to say she wont be back and bouncing very soon...

all in all and interesting and entertaining day...
PS 'street kids' aren't that bad... some are very nice... if not more open and accepting than most of the better sheltered kids....

such is life...
