I’ll put it into simple words: my bus ran over a man. And KILLED him.


So you can only imagine how I feel right now.


Our bus driver is really nice, friends with everybody, and really careful. It sounds unfair that it happened to HIM, when there are so many inconsequent drivers out there.
It was dark, and the man showed up out of nowhere, and carelessly walked in the middle of the street. Our driver tried everything to avoid him, but it was useless.

We were heading to my University, which is in a city 1 hour from here, when I heard someone saying “ Pegou!!! ” (can be translated as “ [you] got it!! ” ) , and I suddenly felt the bus running to the opposite direction (it nearly hit a wall) and then, running over something.

It’s the worst feeling I’ve EVER felt, I think only people who already were in the same situation can understand… I felt sick, with an urge to vomit and nearly fainted.
A guy near me said he saw something rolling to the grass, but since it was dark, he couldn’t tell what it was. We were unsure if it was either a dog or a man, but many people said it was probably a dog. Until some people started saying “It’s a man! It’s a man!” and I felt even worse.

Our driver immediately stopped and ran to help the man (which I appreciate a lot; many drivers just act like nothing happened and keep going their way). Nearly everyone in my bus ran to see what happened too. I stayed, with a few people – the thought of a man, a dog or anything being there, in agony, didn’t allow me to go check things out.
Then I called my parents and told my father to go get me at University, since I wasn’t sure if I could handle a class or not. Then I couldn’t hold it anymore and started crying. Some girls who were there tried to calm me and each other down, which may sound pretty simple, but really did me feel a little better.

Thankfully, the ambulance and police didn’t take long – we were at the city entrance. Then a guy returned, and said the last thing I wanted to hear: “He died.” He didn’t felt agony, he didn’t felt anything: he died instantly.

We got to another bus, and then to Uni. There were only 3 people, plus my teacher, in my class – the others were doing an exam – which I’m glad, because I burst into tears. They consoled me too, which also made me feel better. Thankfully class ended sooner, and dad took me home.

Our bus had one of its lamps broken and part of the window crashed, but I just cannot stop thinking about our bus driver. He didn’t deserve it. He tried everything to avoid that man. He was desperate, and I feel so very sorry for him.

That all was yesterday. As I was expecting, the newspapers from my Uni city published a report on the accident today.
Turns out the man has not been recognised yet, and there's even a chance he was an itinerant.

As for me... I am a little better now, at least better than yesterday. Couldn't take the accident out of my mind though. But worrying won't help anything. I should just pray for both the man and our driver, and know that things like that happen. And life goes on.

Time for more clichè phrases XD But I really wish you all kinds of good things. People here, at TLK FAA, at DeviantArt, everybody who honoured me with friendship... all you guys, all of you, mean a lot to me. It's been wonderfull to stay with you in 2006, and I hope 2007 will be an year of full joy and peace for us all^^ Thanks a lot for you support: for seeing my pics, reading my journal, well, for just being there.

As for how my night was, just as usual, we went to my granma's, because she has this balcony (although pretty small but oh well, everybody fits there so no problemXD) and we can pretty much see all the fireworks. The fireworks aren't everything, though. Only the fact that some people of our family (not everybody goes to my grandma, but it's a tradition over here lol, gotta love the balcony) are reunited already is so joyfull! Having some laughs, sharing stories. Truly one of my fav times of the year

And well, I don't know what else to say. Love everybody.

Besides, that makes him a Virgo (in Portuguese -Brazilian at least - we call the sign Virgem, which is VIRGIM translating so it gives me perv thoughts *suicide*), and that sign kinda fits him. Yes it does! Go read the horoscope, then watch the episodes he's in!!

Hey guys! Long time no update here, eh? Hehe sorry, I was just in a kind of artists block... and lazy. Hahah. I think lazy is the main factor but anywhooo

I've got 4 upcoming projects, and I'm quite excited about them I can't give you guys the exact date of when they will be finished, because I have a life outside the computer, and I decide not to spend too much time online because of it. Still, I'll soon post some pics of them. Here they are:

Delta - "Delta" is a story, or at least part of it, I've made up a long time ago. It's the name of a planet I made up, and it tells us the story of a woman's fight to save her village. This story is the less complete one, I actually don't even know how to start it, but the characters personalities are so strong in my mind that I will made up this whole story. It's more like a musical/broadway that I will write and, then, illustrate some scenes here

Delta Peace Keepers - This one has nothing to do with the Delta of above. It's yet another planet called Delta: I decided to keep the name for both the planets because it's not only a good name, but also full of meanings. This story here will also get illustration and comics, and it's about nothing less than the Mario gang. Surprised? XDD Hehe it fills out many questions, tells us characters pasts and.. why "Peace Keepers"? Because it tells Mario and his gang adventures, but not your average jump-here-and-there Mario adventure. This time they all got powers and can even turn into a respective animal to help conquer their quests and chalanges.

Orange The Bionical Lion - HAHA I think you guys weren't really expecting it XD It's a humorous story, though with lots of friendship. It appeared in my mind while I was trying to sleep, and it was like, 3am. It's about a lion called Orange, how he loses his tail and how a cientist replaced his tail with a new... and quite interesting... one X3

Sarabi's Hope - I'm not sure if I'll keep this title. It's because actually this story is a comic and has no title... now I remember that EfiWild, from TLK FanArt Archive has her story called "Nala's Tears" so, Efi, if you like, I can change the name, no worries here But the story is quite diferent from hers. It another of many "What if...?" from The Lion King universe. It tells us the story of Scar and Sarabi's son, and how Sarabi would put all her hope in her son, hoping he'd defeat... his own father. And also, this defeat would be even before Simba decided to show up.

Fada, A Justiceira - The title means "Fada ("faerie") The Justicer", and it's another story hard to atually work with. It's about a young cow - Fada - and how she fights against unfair things, I've got lots of characters in this one. Hopefully I'll upload some character sheets of even fanfic parts - I wanted to make this one a movie but since that's impossible, maybe I'll do storyboards and a fanfic.

One Piece pics - Oh wait, that's not a project... well, actually it's also lots of teories and fanon, I pretend to upload lotsa pics about One Piece characters, what's happening to them right now, what happened in their pasts and what will happen in their future. I have lots of pics ready, they just need some color and explanations so expect those soon

And that's it. I think I'll put name abreviations in my deviations (haha rhymes lolz) so that you'll know which story I'm talking about (i.e DPK for Delta Peace Keepers submissions).

This absolutely DOESN'T means I don't like to talk in it: I LOVE IT. I don't wanna you guys to think of me as someone annoying/silly just because I don't give my names there and there. C'mon guys, don't feel intimidated by the fact you must note me! I love receiving notes (and who doesn't? ) so it'll absolutely NOT bother me! And I'd love to talk to you guys!! So, feel free to note me asking for it, and why you wanna talk to me! I'll surely answer your note as soon as possible Now, being more specific:

ICQ = My number is there cuz I rarely log on my ICQ. I could say I abandoned it, but I didn't, in fact, I loggin sometimes. But as I said, veeeeery rarely. I don't like ICQ that much, it's kinda slow here sometimes and, even if I got A LOT of people there, there's rarely someone online there. Still, if you wanna talk to me on there, cuz you got no MSN and no AIM, just tell me "hey Lila loggin there so we can talk!" and I will

AIM = I'm not in there that much too. I'd say, 80% of the times I'm online. That's mainly because I got more people on my MSN. Also cuz well, I forgot XDD~ Lol yeah I'm that stupid. But if you wanna talk, sure, note me and let's do it

MSN = I'm in this one like, everyday. It's my favorite messenger, because it got lots of tools, it's easy to deal with and I got lots of people there too, including people I know in RL. So, you'll most likely find me there Just note me, okies?

Now, for a main problem... the TIMING. I'm Brazilian, and it may be WAY diferent from where you live. And I rarely am online on afternoons, only at night. I loggon at 8:00 pm/20:00, or sometime after it. But that's HERE. I don't know what's your timing there so, if you don't find me online, that's the reason.

And if you wanna add me and don't know what to say... don't worry I'm at the same situation XDD But trust me, you won't bother me. I'm often bored and I love talking to someone In fact... I'm the one who's afraid to bother someone XDD~ Sometimes I don't speak to people not cuz I don't like them... but cuz I'm afraid I'd bother them XD Yeah, I'm weird like that. So if I bother you (or not) please tell me XDDD
But well, seriously, here are a list with a few things I like to talk on messengers and, in front of each item, what I like most:

- The Lion King = yeah, for this one, you can talk about ANYTHING XD~ *love love love* But especially it's songs and stuff about other languages. I LOVE collecting TLK in other languages, especially its songs^^

- Mario = XD Yeah. I like Talking about it shaddup XD~ Especially Luigi, Waluigi, Daisy, Popple, Prince Peasley, the Starbeans Clerk (who I named DouglasXD) and all Mario and Luigi RPG (Superstar Saga) in general)

- One Piece = this is all ~RKPiratedrawer's fault XDDD~ I like talking about Bon-Clay (Mr.2), Luffy, Usopp ( <3 ) and... LuffyxUsopp mwehehehehe...

- Other languages = yeah! I'm silly like that^^

- ART = I LOVE ART. Anything goes here: illustration, SIMBOLISM, great artists, techniques, etc.

- Music = again, ANYTHING goes here, but especially soundtrack's music, Tchaikovsky, simbolism, THE BEATLES, old groups - 60s/70s, classical music, great musicians, baroque music, etc.

- Stupidity = WHOOOOOO

- *insert something I may have forgot here*

- Etc = yeppers, anything

People always say that that's a special birthday, say that you even need to put in a dress and them dance with your father, invite 15 couples and etc. I wish I could do that XD But instead, I'll be inviting my friends and we are going to eat pizza^^ That's pretty enough to me, I'm going to invite my best friends, the ones I grown with

And you know what's interesting? My sister's birthday is EXACTLY the same day is mine, but we are NOT twins: she's 7 years younger than me. And even for more coincidence (if such a thing exists), we were born almost in the same hour, only 15min of diference.

So, for her, there will be a little party on the school (we both study in the same school - in fact, I ALWAYS studied in that school, and my sister is following in my "paw prints" hehe such pride XD).

And for both of us, there will be a little party here, only for family. That's great I love old musics and so does my uncles, so we will enjoy lots of Beatles, Bee Gees, etc

Well, actually I cannot say it is a FAQ, because no one ever asked me those questions XD But anyway, maybe you guys wanna know. 3 questions so far, all about my fursona (Lila_Vulpes, not Lee) maybe I add more later, but I don't think so... only if some other curious question pop in my head

Okay, what’s the matter with Lila_Vulpes’ earring?? It seems to be floating!

Well, actually, I could say it is; Even since I first drawed Lila_Vulpes, I wanted her to be a little cartoonised, especially the earring. So I made it in a cartoony way: in some cartoons, you can notice that earrings and even some other things don’t have a specific outline, what made them seems to “float”. Lila’s lil’ triangle is, actually, connected with her ear, but doesn’t seem to have a part in a small hole, like normal earrings. It cames from her ear’s outline, nothing more.
So that’s why: just a cartoonized way to my lil’ Lila’s earring^^

Ahh, okay. Then why it changed from a ear to another?

Actually there is no reason I just started drawing it in the other side and neither noticed that; But, as she had lots of changes along the time, I think that doesn’t matter;
In the first Lila draw, and some others after, it was in her left ear. Then, now, it’s in the right. It would make even more sense if it stayed in the left, because I’m left-handed, but we can say that she changes it when she wants too; Hehe but normally I draw in the right ear, yup.

Why so much yellow???

Becaaaause when I was making her colored at the first time, I was with the yellow pencil in hand and, as I didn’t knew which other colors to use, I stayed with the yellow in the parts were still uncolored But then I didn’t wanted to change it… she already had her personality and her characteristics, so it wouldn’t be nice to change…. The other changes I did were, I can say, just improvements I learned, and some lil’ basic things.
But the yellow was too “strong”, and so I make it lighter and “smoother”, and now it looks better, and I’m sure she’ll stay like that

About it, well, I really miss her, a lot. But I'm feeling better. I always keep in my mind that she doesn't deserved to pass what she was passing. She deserved peace, what she haves now, I'm sure And I know that, if she was still alive, I'd feel terrible when looking at her blind, white eyes (yes, she became blind because of her diabetes - or however to say that in English) and knowing that she would need insuline injections for the rest of her life.

But oh dear let me stop with that!!! I'm not going to remember all that bad things. I'll just remember our happy moments, like when we walked together, played together and when she sleeped in my lap

And besides, I have another dog to take care. It's Pepita (means "nugget" in Portuguese)^^ I put her paw in the scanner and uploaded it, hehe you guys may remember She's here, all healthy and happy^^

Like I said, the angels will welcome you... no, they alread have Hope you're enjoying there, Bambina^^

It happened today, I think. So hard, so hard to me to believe...
My doggie died. You guys now say: "Nahh, your dog? Whatever!"
No, you guys don't know... you guys don't know how much she meaned to me... how much it is hard to find out that who growed with you, who you spend whole 11 years, together, (you know, I'm 14 now, so I can really say she growed with me)... have gone. No, not gone. Have leaved her body here, just that...

So maybe I don't comment too much in deviations, or answer comments, but you guys know I read them. Just let a lil' time pass, and I'll be better.

I'm not going to say everything that was happening to her, for it hurts me a lot, but I can say she had cancer. Why am I mourning so much? I, being spiritualist, must know that she's FAR better now. That she's finally.... free.


But it's still so hard...
