Blargh, I'm so tired. Today's been a relatively good day. A quick hello to anyone who may be seeing this. Yes, this entry it mostly just for the awesomeness of the free trial of sorts with the journal CSS. I would've filled this journal with an emo-tastic life dump, but I'm in too good of a mood right now, and don't really have the time

Well, I didn't get to go to the first day of the con, even tho there was a lot of stuff that I thought was cool going on...¬—¬ stupid school. >—<

Saturday:
Well, we were leaving my house at the time I wanted to be there XD 's dad was kind enough to drive us down, and I still can't believe we fit everything into that trunk o_O We checked into the hotel, and our fridge followed soon after...We did a little shopping, and finished paying for her doll!!! lol He's so cute!!

That night was the masquerade, and I must say it was pretty good! lol There was a Joker/Harley(/Ivy?) group!! When I saw them I was like "Oh, the Harley looks like one I've seen on dA!" lol Just looked, and (who's Harley I was thinking of) said they were going to AnimeFest, so I might've seen them. XD Either way, the costumes were impressive!

OH! And the Ramen and Rice concert was SO. MUCH. FUN!!! Their were a lot of songs were I was like "Wha?" and I had to turn to the people next to us, but on two I knew what they were right away and others didn't, and both were Ghibli songs XD Shows how much of a Miyazaki nerd I am! ^_^;

Went to bed around midnight to wake early and refreshed for the next day!

Sunday:
Had a decent night's sleep, tho I debated just getting up at least once before the alarm rang. We got down to the con and basically just walked around, and listened to the Ani-Idol competition held by Mu Epsilon Kappa, UNT's anime club.
When cosplay time rolled around, we flew downstairs for a pizza for me and to split, as well as some pudding and cheese and other stuff we brought from the room. As we walked up to the line, they were moving people about and telling people to curve around, and I turned to my mom and said "Are we sure this isn't AKON?" (read the Saturday night part of my AKON journal if you don't get it ;]) But we got decent seats, and the cosplays were very funny, and I got some pics, which will have to send to me b/c my cam broke before the con and I had to use hers.

Art Auction = EPIC WIN!!! There were 2 official Ouran High School Host Club Jackets that went for $500 a piece (), and then a picture of Jack Skellington went for $1000!!! 8D It was epic awesome. Buuut then we left, 'cuz they were going to begin auctioning the adult stuff, and we just didn't want to see that XP

And then and I went to the rave. 8D It was so much fun!! Tho we agreed that next time we bring glowsticks and a bigger posse XD

Monday:
Poked around a bit, and packed up our stuff to leave. I won some of 's art at the auction today, and I'm reaally happy about it ^_^ and I got to chill with the BJD people today as well, so I'm happy. :3

Friday, Day 1(1):

We got to the hotel around 3-3:30. This by itself was a bad move, waiting for my friend to take us instead of having m dad just take us and go. But we got there, and it was a parking lot of luggage carts and people walking around trying to find their rooms or friends or whatever. Here's where I made some new friends: this guy, Zieg, and his friends (and mom? o.O I'm pretty sure it was his mom...). They were fun, and we kept joking that if we didn't get to our rooms soon or get food soon we'd maul the pizza guy. Yes, there was a pizza guy v.v Poor guy, having to wait in that sea of people for the right person...

I met up with and our friends. She wore a Mrs. Lovett costume that was DA BOMB! ;D She's so awesome. I think I still owe her money. ^3^;; I love you, liebe! Hehe...*sweatdrop*

After wandering the Artist Alley for a little while, we got in line for the concert. THAT was a taste of hell. >-<* Grrr, the wait was unbelieveable, but the bands were pretty good. ^^

Friday Night-Early Saturday morning, Day 1(2):

Budo Grape was the opening act of the concert, and I must say that in my opinion they were pretty good. The guy in our group thought their music was weird, and that he might've enjoyed it more if he was high o.O The music did get pretty out-there, and the went for SO LONG (DX). It was kinda sad, because the moment they got offstage people started chanting for Versailles (AWESOMENESS 8D), and pretty much nobody left when it was mentioned that Budo Grape was doing autographs.

Before Versailles came onstage, the Con Patrol made us "take two steps back", like, 20 times. And I thought it was because the people in the front-ish area (in front of my "row") weren't moving back much/at all. And Versailles took SOOO LOONG to get onstage! We ended up just sitting on the ground and waiting until the lights went out, meaning the band was on stage. Side-note: Passing water back is a wonderful thing, and can help keep people from passing out/fainting.

When Versailles came on stage, everybody screamed/yelled, depending on their gender XD Our group pretty much lost our voices from screaming so much. But can you blame a girl? Those guys are HOT!! XD And they only took breaks every now and then between every 2-3 songs. Then when the concert was "over" and I lined up for the autographs, and on our way over to the line we heard the band doing an encore, in which they apparently played Revenant Choir, which is like my most favorite song of theirs. -.- My mom ended up getting moved to the front because she had 5s, and she begged to let them let her buy a 2nd CD if I could be pulled out of the line (one for me and one for ). They were supernice and let her do it and now we both have our CDs! Fun-fun all around! ^-^
After that (a.k.a. Kenny ^-^), who was actually staing with me and mom, and I went up to the room and crashed @.@

Saturday, Day 2(1):

Yesterday got up and when stright to Artist Alley> I'd bought one or two things there Friday, so I was mostly looking. Kenny was a little upset over the fact that one of the artists she wanted to buy from wasn't there yet, even though I told her several times that and artist who is at their booth until 2 in the morning the night before is probably not going to be up and ready to sell and 10 in the morning that day. She ended up buying some pictures for me (which I paid her back for) and we oogled over 's books that she bought. We then stood in line for the Versailles Q&A.
