I also finally uploaded something after a million years...it just happens to be Kirk/Spock. I'm writing a three-part dealie for a friend of mine who really loves that pairing.

Yeah, lots of fanfic-writing for me.

I have a panel on Saturday named The Essence of Harry Potter Role-Play at 3PM. You'll see it on the schedule. Anyway, for that panel, I'll be cosplaying as Bagpipes!Snape (yeah, that one commission I had Kelly Wormtongue draw for me [link] ). I hope I'll get people to come as I'm rather excited and nervous about it. It's a pretty chill panel, really. Come and go as you like, we'll just be discussing the awesomeness that is role-playing. I'll probably be in costume for the whole day, so you guys should know who I am based off my eccentric dress. XD

Anyway, I'll be gone geeking it out at the Star Trek gathering and also at the Harry Potter convention. I'll see you all around for those attending. ^^

Not really, but I just have way too much time on my hands right now so why not a new years update?!

I got my first commission back from of Cronos and Waldo, an (yes, an) OC of mine for the RPG Beyond Stone Walls. I can't help but crack a smile at how Waldo is portrayed. Oh, poor man, to think he is really the same guy as Cronos makes me laugh. Here is the commish on devART: [link] and the lineart: [link] . I do highly recommend her if you're looking for high-quality commissions at a good price.

But aside from that, I do intend to update my submissions sooner or later. Right now I'm trying to organize my thousands of favorites with no end in sight yet. D:

Also, speaking of commissions, I am still looking for *that* artist to draw a rather difficult OC of mine. Recommendations of artists with a more realistic and dark style would be much appreciated.

And if anyone is wondering, I am not submitting anymore art. I haven't drawn in years and I don't intend to pick up the pen and try again. I will doodle here and there, but writing is the craft I'm improving.

Anyway, waiting for my stupid paypal account to finish the transfer of funds. Thankfully, two of my commissions don't require payment just yet.

Anyway, as you can see, I've converted entirely to writing rather than abortive drawing from here on out. Yet, my writing is sparse with the new challenge that is university which consumes my life and freetime.

I'm still role-playing though, at beyondstonewalls.com which is Harry Potter.

Other than that, I'm looking through my watched artists to see who is open for commissions and such since I am getting desperate for a portrait for one of my rpg characters. Unfortunately, funds are tight what with me unemployed and the government only giving me a few hundred for several months.

I am not good enough of a writer to be writing novels and whatnot to sell so I suppose I will just have to keep working away at my studies and possibly get a job over the summer!

Speaking of summer, I'm attending Azkatraz in San Francisco this summer. Anyone else attending?

However, this year, they have been pissing me off a lot.

For one thing, there is no more group registration and it is causing CHAOS for my anime club which I am president of.

Second, they will NOT accept school IDs or transcripts as "proper identification."

The second bothers me A LOT because I have kids under 14 going with me, too. I doubt some of them have passports or any sort of government ID they can carry around with them. So that basically means some of them will have to bloody go through the passport process or go to the devilish DMV to get an ID at that young an age. I'm not sure their parents would like that.

Third, THEY OPENED PRE-REG LATE. UGH. That merely means that everyone will have to register fast, form hotel groups fast, and have money fast.

Overall, Fanime 2008 is more trouble than it is worth this year. What they need to do is to reopen group registration, start pre-reg early, and allow certain forms of ID. Hey, if a college will accept my transcript as a suitable ID, I don't see why Fanime won't.

Oh yes, just yesterday, I got an email from some person I never have heard of in my life. This stranger asked if he/she could translate my fan fiction (Two Sides in particular) into Russian. I was thrilled and very flattered and so, I allowed it to happen. I wonder if it will really happen? And where did this person find my work? On Deviant Art or Fanfiction.net?

So I added another story as well and I added the story in Fanfiction.net yesterday and guess what? It has over 100 hits already and it's surpassed Two Side's hits by 6. O-O Wow...just...wow...

Apparently, I have a lot of fans all of a sudden. It kinda scares me in a way that I don't know a whole lot of them.

But yeah, I should start my summer homework soon...I'll start it sometime today as I only have 11 days left before I have to turn the work in! >_<

Oh, and I miss TWF dearly and clearly am having severe TWF withdrawal to be going on Myspace so frequently. *facedesk*
