So Anime Evolution starts friday, and a bunch of my friends and I are driving down to Vancouver tomorrow!

This summer is going to be INSANE! I'm playing photographer for my friends wedding, there's Animethon, Tap into a Cure (maybe), and just non-stop things happening. Expect lots of art, or photos @ ~Mercurys-Ocean, and what ever I come up with.

So CCE is this weekend! I'll be heading down to Calgary with a couple friends for the convention, purely as an attendee (If my car ever gets out of the shop!! Almost two weeks now!). After school this year, I definitely couldn't afford a table lmao.

I have no idea what I'll be doing. =/ But conventions are just to much fun to miss lol, plus there's some great guests this year. Reboot, Harry Potter, and Heroes FTW!!!

This summer will also be Otafest, Anime Evolution, and Animethon!!! I have a table for Animethon, but gave up the table I had for AE because school ate my art money.

Maybe I'll do a half assed cosplay? When my grandmother died in September, I happened to get her sewing machine! Can't say I really remember how to use one. It's been at least 6 years since the last time I touched one.

I'm doing a massive clean up of my room. There's just to much crap in here still. Maybe a lot of old CDs, drawings, prints, old drawing books, old regular books, and jewelry. I'll get through it all eventually.

So I missed my DAnniversary AGAIN! April 8th marked three years for me on deviantART! In a couple days I'll also be hitting 15,000 page views.

I just wanted to say thank you, because in the last couple weeks I've had quite a few people looking at my art work, whether it be just passing by, watching, or favoriting. I really appreciate it, because I want my work to be known, and recognizable. I know lately, with my drawing classes and such, I'm going through a bit of improvement, and slight style changes, but I hope you'll enjoy what comes.

Animethon Artist Alley meetings are still coming. The next one looks to be on the 25th of this month. I won't be able to make it because I'll be at the Calgary Comic Expo, so I hope if you guys are interested, you'll head on over to the Grant MacEwan downtown campus on the 25th at 1pm for the meeting.

Here's some of my work from that account! I've been trying to update it a bit more lately, especially since I'll need photos for projects and such.

Because I just spent the last hour wondering why my footer was appearing the same size as my headers. I had added code for a header and left it open It was affecting the text in my footer.

So it's that time of the year again kiddies! We've already had our first Artist Alley meeting, and things are looking GREAT! Head on over to the Animethon website for art contest details, and then feel free to move on to the Animethon forums for some Artist Alley info! We'll have another coloring book this year, and we're looking into more group projects for us all to participate in. Please, if you have ideas, share them.

Anyways, this will be my third year in the Animethon Artist Alley, and this will be the second year I've posted in my journal looking for other Artists to join on in. We have a great time every year, and meet lots of good people. There's no table fee to enter. Just follow the rules, submit your contract by the due date, and attend a couple meetings and you'll be fine. If you're looking to go to a meeting, feel free to tell me and I'll let you know when Nik (our friendly neighborhood Alley coordinator) has the next one planned.

In following =DracheaRannak's lead, I've begun my own Sailor series, but I've chosen to go with Marvel and DC comic girls. I doubt they'll look as good as his.
