I could have used way too much more work on this. Art alone, there's more consideration for paneling, pacing, and generally plot.
Overall, should have started earlier, should have worked harder.

In everything else around, Yaoicon is tomorrow, hopefully two costumes to come out of that.
Want to illustrate more just to get more training.
If all goes well enough, I might have a solo, published Touhou comic come ALA (January)
perhaps to redeem myself.

School started a couple weeks back, and its pretty harsh.
I get a good one day off between work and school, and most of my free time (and money) has been being spent on San Francisco trips to the Baby the Stars Shine Bright/Black Peace Now store~

well I haven't been drawing squat, but that is 'cuz Sakuracon is but a few days away. I have wonderful progress done on costumes so I hope not to have the scheduled panic on Wednesday. This more or less is a "I'm up for whatever"-con, so until associated groups call for it, I'll probably be in my 25yr Lambo. Sometime Saturday I'll switch to Kaito for some vocaloid thanger, and maybe squeeze some pokemans in there. The Viral and Lucianno were postponed due to partnering issues, but I hope to get them out sometime. Didn't feel the Touhou this time around.
After to con I'm ripping my art-to-do list a new one, and will do at most one new costume for myself and whatever else some buds might need. I'm thinking a gender swapped Mokou. Oh, and I got table 87 so I'll be buggin' and all con long.

Went to a costuming event past weekend (updates on that later) and got slowed down in art.
More slowdown expected as spring break approaches, and during the break for costumes that need to be prepared.
So far for Sakuracon I have in mind:

Not much after that is Fanime so art and costumes will be pumped at double pace.

Other than that and related to that, just waiting for the seating chart for artist alley that people -behind me- in line have already gotten. Hopefully I don't get stuck too much behind, but I'll manage what I can.
So far so good on updating the comic, at least one a week is goal.

It wasn't that active, and I'm willing to blame the date and conditions, but I had a blast. I was gifted with very awesome neighbors, and a fellow smackjeever [link] !
I was constantly entertained by the antics of mostly reborn cosplayers that played many a games in front of my booth. Overall, looking forward to doing it again next year.

Second point. New year, I'm trying to fix bad habits. I am re-selling old art and hopefully re-wearing costumes I make. The sets of fanime 08 can be re-expected this year with some changes, and hopefully at ALA 2010. More on that later.

Lastly, switching over to cosplay mode. Though you can expect some random illustration here and there, and the re-return of 5th Aid, I have Sakuracon costumes and then some to work on. Con art will resume following that.

Since last around I've run into a handful of computer and medical related mishaps, and also preoccupied myself with plenty of housework, so I've been a little skippy on the updating. Now that my computer is up and running I can hopefully get the groove of things again, and get a chance to update my comic.

Other news include hopefully having a website/art journal halfway into January, and work on 5th Aid. (I'm serious! Illustration is getting worked on as you read.)

Illustration wise, I've come to notice I just don't draw enough random junk here and there, so I'm working to alleviate that situation.

The important point here is the plans for the coming year, which for the most part, is cosplay year.

AOD(san francisco):Feb 14 planning on doing artist alley
Sakuracon (seattle):April 10
Fanimecon (san jose): May 22 artist alley again
Anime Expo (LA): July 2

Needless to say that there will be a lot of costuming done (more on that for the future) and other miscellaneous events.

It has come to my attention that in comparative standards, I am critically lacking Touhou artz that should very well be abundant in my gallery. For shame...
So to it, the new campaign is to draw more Toe hoes. Perhaps on a faster produced stream of every other upload, or more so what I feel like.

Too much to go over, and I feel far too lazy to do that much recalling.
For a quick overview, AX was cool (except for my costumes) and I got to spend some time bothering and co.
It took me an entire week to realize that by stopping by the DA booth at expo, I got a subscription…neat!

I suppose I should spend time to make it well worth having it, or just get back to it in general. Either/or, let’s make the best of the coming time!

With things going as they are, I’m stabilizing from the backlash of famine, other finished products and moving. And to that, preparing for Anime Expo.

On the side note, I decided to give 'Katekyo Hitman Reborn!' a read. I have to say, I was probably being unfair to it, as I finished Soul Eater ('bout 20ch worth) before it, which in turn made this series torture to go through. The first 63 chapters were agony to read, with Lambo being the only to look forward to in them. I decided to give it proper treatment, and persevered trough until it started to put out. 100something chapters into it, I'll say it is starting to pay off. It was an endeavor.

Working towards AX, hope to be active afterwards.

It was good.

Artist Alley was too fun. I had a table with I sold far more that I ever thought I would. I have about 3 bookmarks and a button left. Unfortunately, the charms didn’t really sell so I have a stash of Pop’n and Lucky Star thingies lying around... oh well.
One of biggest highlight was probably meeting . My goodness her drawing is beast. But I enjoyed seeing so much Touhou at the con (I sent about every one of my friends over, and they all commissioned her, and I got a Wriggle bug)


Cosplay was even better that I set it up to be, even with a few bumps on the road.

Friday was Michel. Confortable, but it goes true that people think, for some ungodly reason, that it was Anime Tenchou. One person recognized me.

Saturday was Rinnosuke, which I actually didn’t touch up (worked on art too much) but the gathering was super fun. It was not only the largest amount of Touhou cosplayers I have ever had the pleasure to be around, but the unimaginable happened, and about half the girls...were girls!

I’ll cut Sunday short, and say I couldn’t get Anime Tenchou out. So I did Suzuymiya Haruhiko. It so happened that the gathering was that day. Unfortunately, I was caught by surprise when the dance started, so I messed it up bad. Other than that, it was the most well received costume I wore all weekend long.
I’ll post a picture of them when I collect them.

Fanime is 100 days away. Such an increment is usually relieving, but when you have more than 100 illustrations and 3 costumes to make, well.....
