Speaking of that issue quickly, I'd also like to state what I plan to do if I feel that this situtation is not getting better and not getting resolved in a way I feel fit.

Drawing character sheets, or at least trying to. I'm sooo tired. ;3; all i really want to do is fall asleep, but can't or else i won't sleep tonight.

anyway. I'm having major problems with my internet connection downstairs. >| The one up here is fine and it connects and it's actually faster than the one downstairs! An this laptop is running on Windows 98!! >_< I don't know what it's problem is. My brother seems to be able to connect just fine, while my mom and I can't get connected, or GET connected but only at about 14-19 kbps. Then the internet lags like crazy and I get disconnected. It'll tell me that the connection was interrupted, that it didn't respond in a timely manner, etc. etc.

And of course, this means, until i can actually get online, there won't be any updates unless I can find the external floppy drive for my laptop. :\

sigh.

i think i'm gonna take a nap.. bleh.

So, yeah... after I go to New York and become really broke this April, I'm going to get a job so I can save up money and buy myself a laptop exclusively for art. And i'm going to spend OVER 100 dollars on some art program that had better be worth it. @_x

Sooo, yes, I'm not dead, just completely busy. Dinner Theatre just ended, and now, right after, starts the Full Length, which really isn't a full length since we couldn't find a good one. Which is why we're doing two long, one-act plays. A straight play, Black Comedy, and a musical, Weird Romance. I'm excited--though i was disappointed when I didn't make cast, I was still proud of myself for having courage enough to sing at my audition.

Plus, I'm going to be Stage Manager/Asst. Director-ish-type-person, because my teacher recognizes my goal to be a director at 7@7.

I'm so excited. <3

had surgery yesterday! o-o so I must tell you about that.

12:00, we went to the hospital. They had me change into the hospital clothes. One of my nurses told me mark which foot was to be operated on (yes, that thing which haa been plaguing my foot since early last summer, was what I went in for), and of course, my way of dealing with nerves was to be giggly. So I wrote a big "YES! " on my foot. with an additional smiley on my toenail. Also, there's an arrow on my ankle. My mom also suggested writing "No" on my other foot. We're weird.
Uhmmm, so yeah. During our nearly 3 hour wait, the nurse came in to prep me for the anestesia 'n such.. put me on the IV. which at first scared me. o-o though it'd hurt, but she put this numbing stuff in my wrist where she's stick in the IV. she also had to draw blood. All the drugs I received, I received through my IV. oo oh, I also couldn't eat from 12 am before the surgery to after the surgery. so I was already dying of hunger. @_o and, yeah. they made me take Pepcid AC, which gets rid of stomach acid. Know why? 'cause anestesia makes you nauseous & throw up. and if I threw up while I was asleep, it'd probably kill me. o-o that whole, drowning in your own puke, 'n all.
uhm, okay. So, yis. 3:30, I went under. it's all pretty blurry to me. ; anestesia kicks in real damn quick. And first, they gave me this stuff that made me giggly and relax. So I was already half asleep when they got me into the operating room. I remember.. about.. four people? yeah. they put the anestetia in my IV, and put an oxygen mask over my mouth, and..then it all goes blank. o-o

When I woke up I was kinda crabby. I woke up, blinked..blinked summore, and my nurse told me what beautiful hair I had. I recall trying to smile? O_o and thanking her. She asked me if I wanted something to eat, and I said no. Then I laid back down, and I think I slept a little more. Then I woke up again, and she gave me crackers and gingerale. n_n yummiyummi gingerale. the whole while I was eating, I just sorta stared off. o-o I was reaaaally groggy 'n it felt like I had just woken up from a long nap. My foto was all wrapped up.

then they took me to a recovery room, and while they went and got my mom, I slept. oo more. they wheeled me out~.. yay~!

my doc had to move a nerve out of the way to operate best, thus making my foot numb. o-o so I don't feel any pain, really. I've got stitches -girlygiggle- my foot'll be unnumb soon, so 'm hoping it won't hurt. @_o and yeah. So, I slept on the couch in my mom's room. oo 'cause I did not feel like hobbling upstairs. @_o myu. aaaand.. went to bed at 12. woke up at 4:00. o_o

last night, I went to a football game with my friends Ally and Kate~! we had lotsa fun. but.. our team lost to Newnan for the first time in ten years! @__x myu. it was a really close game the whole time, though. oo 14 to 17, and we went into overtime. jaja~

LMAO~! it was sooo cuuuuute.. -L- Poor jacob. Child frightener!

I got my His and Her Circumstances DVD~! Good lord I love thsi anime~! *__* I'm definately gonig to try and cosplay Yukino. -nodnodnod-

anyway, I have hardly been online AT ALL this week, as seeing as our hig school's dinner theatre started this week. oo; Right after school, I go to the drama room, and work my ass off until 9:30 (or later). x3 It's fun though. Our stage manager is also the set crew's (I'm on set crew..or was it called stage crew? I don't remember, I'm just preoccupied with carrying heavy things oo; ) is also the set crew's chair person. He's very funny 'n nice. I've made a lot of new friends, like Ally, who is on set crew with me. xD but yes~! Yesterday was our opening night, and tonight is our second performance. yi~! A lot of the actors & actresses are really nice to me, too, even if they sometimes don't take care of their own props. xD (you see, the prop commitee went to hell in a hand basket, so they've been trying to depend on us to get them all their props. oo; well, our stage manager dooes nooot like that, 'cause it really distracts the stage crew 'n stuff.) Doc, who is our sponsor and one of the directors, says we're the best stage crew. -gleam-

yeah~! so, not much artwork on the way, and I probably won't be on much until the week after next. oo;

but yes. I've been searching for that picture with out the girl in the cosplay dress, so I can save it, and use it as reference when I make the costume. and I can't find it ANYWHERE. @__o

just updating a few things.

inked that "Love" sketch. Turned out pretty good, but there's a few things I need to fix. I'll upload it some time.

well, the "surgery" on Wednesday was a total bust. I have an absess around that little foreign body, and he tried to make it drain.. but when he poked it open (aka, SHOVED the sharp ass knife into my foot--I had no pain killers AT ALL @__o;; ) it only dripped blood.. with me writhing and screaming my head off, O__o ..so, he put me on antibiotics. tried to make it through school on Thrusday, but I ended up going home, because the crutches were exhausting me. I feel like such a wimp. @o;

so, went back today, and he was supposed to knock me out and take care of it.. BUT HE DIDN'T.. @__c.... so moma was pissed, and smtohered my absess in ichthommol all over it. Ichthommol is stuff used on horses when THEY have foot absesses. oo; sbsesses are evil, believe me.. our horses KEPT getting them. @_o;

anyway. so. YEAH, got to stay home again, yay..

stressed. I'll go to jail if I strangle my mother won't I?

okai. So, tomorrow, Oct. 1st, I gotta go in to the.. foot doctor and have a little surgery, 'cause.. y'all know how my foot was hurting me all summer? Ah, well, guess what, there's a huge thing sticking out now. Foreign object Dr. Mulidhara says, and that's what i've been terlling the foot doctor all along. He kept saying, "..It's a foot."

ah well. so, I feel like shit right now, because EVERYONE I know is sick, oh, and I've got detention.. e_e

ANYWAY. don't expect many updates soon. on top of all this stuff, I've got to go to this awards ceremony thing for a website I made with a group last year--we're going to be recognized as state winners. mmmm~, and some of the people asked the teacher we worked with, "Did you get permission from the publisher to use the book covers on the website?" And we hadn't, so, ja.. she talks to the publisher, and they tell her to ask the author of the books. And there's no response, as of yet. So, she e-mails me, asking if I'd draw the book covers, since I'M "THE BEST!!!" O__o ..aaand, yeah. So, you see. I have lots to do.

the only drawing I really do is in art class--today I forgot my cityscape thing at home, so I did extra credit by redrawing one of Van Gough's sketches--this one was of a large black woman--it's gorgeous. ^^ It was good practice on shading for me.

Goood looord i'm a tired girl. @_o; ..I jsut wanted to curl up today with my book and be all warm~.. n_n 'cause. ..it rained soo much today, and it was the perfect day for doing just that. n_n

mmh, got a sketch done in art~.. that i'll scan. It was done on cheap newpaper print paper.. xD; Because our school sucks, 'cause our art department has like, no money. oo; mmh.. Did I mention that my art teacher asked if I'd like to take an AP art class? ^__^ I probably did.

This was brought around, because, since AT&T timed out and is charging extra until next month, I have to use my AOL account. oo Thus, I looked through all the spam, and I normally only look at the e-mail address. And as I was reporting the spam, on one of the subject lines, it had "Furry" on it. @__o So.. I dunno if I missed an important e-mail or what.. 'm still trying to figure out if there's anyway to get it back. >__o;;

mmh. So, ja. I've got Advanced Lit. and i like the teacher! uhm then Pre-Algebra.. geh. The teacher is okay, but.. he drones on and on and on, and it's MATH. x_x; geh. then, Freshman Focus.. which makes you better at highschool or something.. Oo and according to what the teacher said, I don't need it at ALL. @_o I dunno. I think it'll be a fun class, though. Despite the.. er. ..children in there with me. I dunno. They seem fun, but there's some other kids in there I know from previous years of school. And I do not liek them one bit.. stuck up, unwilling to give anyone a chance. -shrug- I love the teacher in FF. She's the "no bullshit" kinda person, and she even says.. "No BS." and she's funny, and energetic. Then I have Visiual Arts I, which will be GRAND I love the teacher, she's so short~! n_n And she looks like Reese Witherspoon. oo and I think she likes anime, but i'm not sure.. she expressed her love of animation, and going to see animated films yey~!

that's only the first semester.. and I know, only 4 classes seems little, but our classes are about an hour and a half long. oo -nod-

Oh well, their loss~! ^__o

I plan to look at club volleyball.. -nod- and get on one of the really good teams, and become one of their best players; thus, the school begs me to be on their team, I think about it for two weeks, and say, "NO~!" -giggle-

-shrug- o-o Still pissed off about it, though. I mean.. all that time was WASTED, and I kept donig my best when I was injured. But whatever~. ^_o oh, and it doesn't help that my father keeps babbling about it. o_-;

've worked my ass off all summer to get on the volleyball team.. myu. and yis. today, they are calling the people who made it on the team.

I couldn't make it to all of try outs, because I needed to go see a doctor about my foot/ankle (he gave me an ankle brace).. und.. ja. I'm just hoping they keep in mind that -I- was one of the ONLY ones to show up on July 4th. and that I went to almost ALL of the conditioning, and I went to volleyball camp.

..aaaaand, yes, Casey just told me she's gotten her call already..

The dorms we stayed in at UGA were fuckin' GHETTO. oo;;; Danni was unlocking our room sayin' how she was SO happy to be off the damn bus and she couldn't wait to rest--and THEN she opened the door and turned on the light.. ;

I have pictures, but i gotta get them developed. It was basically four walls; standing at the door, you're opposite two HUGE windows.. then, turn clockwise, and you see the wall with the two little prison beds Oo; and the sink. and mirror. turn clockwise still, bypassing the door, and there's this huge, metal shelf thing.. ; desks, too.. and the phone.

RAWR. my foot is still swollen~. And while doing some conditioning with jump ropes, I did something to my ankle, and it's really swollen. o-o Dad thinks it's sprained.. and if it doesn't feel better by tomorrow, then he said that we're gonna have to make the desicion to not go to New York on Saturday. ;-; But if we don't go, then jsut the two of us would go up there some other time. ^__o

gwr. I also got to call Ezy, because Dannii had a calling card.. ^_^

but anyway.. the volleyball training schedule was killer.. x_x Mostly, it we got up at six. Have breakfast (I had to hobble over to the dining hall, which is up some stairs, after you cross the parking lot) and be on the bus by 7:45. @_o; then we'd train untill lunch (12:00), then go back and do some more! then get off at dinner, and get back to the dorms for bed around 10:30, and bed time was usually 11. (like we obeyed.. e_e)
So yes.. was NOT fun for my foot. constant trips to the trainer's room to get ice and a wrap around my foot~. And then a wrap around my ankle, too. oo
We did good during gthe tournament! We had to play a LOT of Varsity teams, and the score always even something like 30-27.. us getting 27. ^__o We won atleast two games, I think. I was middle, I was~.. passing balls, blocking, and hitting.
Rawr, and when we had our little karaoke night~.. our coaches left us. It pissed us all off~.. and when we got back, they had left Roxy (our bus driver and one of the girl's Mom) a note satying they had gone out to get wings.. when we all know they had gone out to get drunk; they had done so last year too, is what said our Warsity team. oo And indeed, one of the coaches eyes were BLOOD SHOT o-o -nod-.. he was so drunk. @_o..

Oh, and also, Grandpa is in the hospital now, with pneumonia.. yesterday mom said he was doin' better, however.

The dorms we stayed in at UGA were fuckin' GHETTO. oo;;; Danni was unlocking our room sayin' how she was SO happy to be off the damn bus and she couldn't wait to rest--and THEN she opened the door and turned on the light.. ;

I have pictures, but i gotta get them developed. It was basically four walls; standing at the door, you're opposite two HUGE windows.. then, turn clockwise, and you see the wall with the two little prison beds Oo; and the sink. and mirror. turn clockwise still, bypassing the door, and there's this huge, metal shelf thing.. ; desks, too.. and the phone.

RAWR. my foot is still swollen~. And while doing some conditioning with jump ropes, I did something to my ankle, and it's really swollen. o-o Dad thinks it's sprained.. and if it doesn't feel better by tomorrow, then he said that we're gonna have to make the desicion to not go to New York on Saturday. ;-; But if we don't go, then jsut the two of us would go up there some other time. ^__o

gwr. I also got to call Ezy, because Dannii had a calling card.. ^_^

myu. My day didn't go well.. won't go into excruciating details (okay, so I will) but; Danni wanted to go to practice. As you all know, my foot is swollen. They dunno what's exactly wrong with it, thinknig it could be tendonitis, a bruise, or even a hairline fracture. (they dunno, 'cause when I went to the foot doctor, and he wiggled my foot all around, i was like, "That doesn't hurt!" because ..uh.. HELLO! I'M ON TWELVE PILLS OF ADVIL EVERY FUCKING DAY! o`__o; )
Anyway, despite my little injury, I tell Danni i'll go to volley ball with her. And what does she say when I call her in the morning? "We don't *have* to go~.."

argh. other thing've happened too. Grandpa had a little stroke.. yeah.

BUT~! sent me a recording of him talking all fast and smartly, and it's funny. "I sent ya something, YAY!" -snort-
