In great news... I'm very close to being enrolled in San Fran's Art institute's online Fashion Design course! YAY! I just need to get Admitted. I know that's like the first thing you should do but in actuality I've been in touch with a Rep. and Financial aide rep to get things in order. Just need to Sign up and get enrolled and get my transcripts in! I'm so excited! I'm thinking of only taking 2 or 3 classes in spring and maybe one or 2 in summer.

I'm in a runt, I have been for months and it's irritating my. I HAVE been working on recoloring my rukia picture and I've been playing with a lot of techniques to no avail... *sigh* I wish I could find my passion. i've been wanting to work on some clothes for a while but when i get home I lose my motivation. I know I should just kick myself in the butt to get going...

I guess with the worry of finding a regular job that can help pay rent I'm really turning into a nervous wreck. I need to do something to calm my self out and relax. When it comes to money I become anxious very easily.

I hope to produce something soon! I'm working on a commish line art for my sister and i need to get back to coloring her color pic. *sigh* GET ON IT! >_<

'I'm just sick to make this announcement -- six of Volks' display dolls went missing overnight.

If you hear ANYTHING about these dolls, please let us know. Keep an eye on eBay, Y!J, and the DoA Marketplace, and we will be doing the same.

Here is the information about the missing dolls -- pictures will be up shortly. These are one-off, unique dolls. They do not have a headplate on the back of the head, they have an artist's signature inside instead.

(2) MSD Girl F-21 Fairy w/blue dress

(3) MSD Boy F-13 Fairy w/blue outfit (2 and 3 have matching outfits and long elf ears)

He wanted the other guy to help me but this guy said he had to go to the bathroom... then he had the gall to drop my order like so much trash.... Well... he had been saying stuff like "don't order me around I'm older than you and I was hired first." Etc.... Well, USUALLY my snide remarks kick in about that time... No, not this time. I might as well have stuck a vacuum in my mouth and turned it to high SUCK.... I said... "Well, at least he's not a jerk." .....................I KNOW!!!!! I'm so ashamed.... T_T I should turn in my Rank A badge in witty reparte.... And not one second later I thought... "damn! Should a said 'Just because he was hired after you, doesn't mean he doesn't do a better job."

I don't know about anyone else but I'm a history fiend. I love old books and paper work, as well as photos. So I decided to share. I have uploaded most of the pictures. I think they're a wonderful peek into the styes and ways of the times. I can't really pin point on time but they range from 1900's to 1930's I'd say.

Also, In other news. I've been taking a fashion illustration class as I may have stated earlier. I'm doing terrific in it. Everyone is always praising me and that really lifts my spirits. On the other hand... Work is so busy this week... It's crazy. T_T But on the other hand (if you where a Hindu godess) I get sushi tomorrow night and it's my mama's birthday.

In good news though... I'm in a fashion illustration class and it's going great! I'm lovin' it. The teacher is awesome! He's energetic and supportive of his students. He works with you and I just love the way he teaches. He amuses me. People in the class are always complimenting me and it feels good. For the longest time I felt pretty useless and untalented... I guess I just felt like I was getting nowhere. Papa and mama helped me get into the class and I'm happy they did. I'm going to see about taking 2 classes in the spring.

The thing that's frustrating me is that when I ask, I may get one or two people say something and then I get ignored. I'm trying to get things figured out ahead of time so that we have a location and everything prepared. I promise I'm not doing it to be a total pain. If I wait until a little before the meet then we won't have a reliable place. And I've asked a couple of times....

I'm talking about TIPPING. People don't tip the people they should anymore. Not only do they not tip... they try to justify it. I can understand if the service was honestly bad. But don't go making up shit when they've done so much for you. And don't be so stingy that if they miss one tiny thing you rant and rave and don't give them a tip... Just tip less. If you do stuff like that it just makes you look like an ass.

My theory is, If you can't or won't tip pretty much everyone in the place of service I.E. resterant, hotel, spa, bar, etc. then you shouldn't be there in the first place.

Here's a list of people you SHOULD tip:

Housekeeper
Waiter/Waitress
Host/Hostess (certain places)
Valet
Doorman
Bellhop
Desk Clerk (certain places)
Room Service
Bartender
Nail Artist
Waxer
Hair Stylist
Masseuse

But I bring good news! I got a job at Jo-anns superstore. I'm working in Home Decor and Apparel (which is the fabric section.) I had my first day of work last night and my feet hurt! I was training in Home Dec... I'll be there again tomorrow and I guess that puts me in Apparel monday and tuesday. I don't know about the rest of my training. I'll probably be swiching back and forth.

I'm now currently working 2 jobs. There at Jo-anns and I'm still at the Inn. I make more at the inn but I get more hours at Jo-anns... So I'm needing both since I'm part time at both. Jo-anns only offers fulltime to managers. I'm not sure if they offer them to supervisors. But I can still buy medical insurance from them! Which is a YAY! I need it so bad right now.

Now as to a personal problem I've been having. The last two weeks have been a couple of the worst I've had to deal with for a long time. Mainly, being incredibly sick but the other main issue and the one that effects all of our loving fans.... was that all of the computers in our house decided to die.

We were able to get two of them back up and running with new winXP PRO!!! YAY (we've been running 98 foreeeeever.) So I tried getting photoshop and such onto one of them but the copy that was burned wasn't installing! It said it would install but there was nothing to be found on the hard drive. I did everything... even got some other people to try. Then we tried uploading and downloading just Photoshop but it wouldn't install... and there's no serial code for just photoshop on cs... the cs wide serial code doesn't work on the individual programs... So I looked online. All I could find where the trial codes. So that's what I'm on... and it keeps booting me midway through a picture.... that I've been needing to get done... T_T I've wanted to cry, scream and throw things for a while now. I hate not being able to update and all.

Thanks to Rumor I'll be able to get that pic done and a VED for this week so you won't be missing another week. And Rumor'll be helping me figure out the CS thing... papa's gonna wipe the computer too.

That's the low down on the down low...

XD Although I love sho's vocals and hiroto is very adorable I think my second favorite (after the 2 first placers) would have to be Nao... There's just something so freaking adorable and Pinch-his-cheaks wonderful about him!

So some friends of mine where pestering me about updating my gallery here on DA and I agree that I needed too. So since I really don't have that many colored pictures right now I decided to put up my linearts.

I did them in a large batch but I've got a hella lot more where that came from. I have old art that I'll be putting up too. You can actually tell the difference between styles, mostly in the eyes and face, some in that hair. There are also those pictures that I may put up that look somewhat ungainly and stuff in the body proportions... those are older too. I'll probably mention that it's an old picture in the description though.

Also, Once the pictures get colored the linarts will be moving to the scrap gallery.

An outsiders opinion is really helpful... and yes I have never been in a true relationship and I'm 22. sure it sounds pathetic (weeps) but actually it's not that bad. I'm not heavily looking but if something happend by then I'd chance it. I know that it's not going to happen without an effort on my part and all that jazz. I understand all that stuff. What I'm saying is that I've got other things to worry about rather then going out every night to find a boy to play with. No I'm not a femmenist! I just need to smooth out my life before I try to get into a relationship.

Enough about that subject....I'm going to eat sushi on frieday with family and some friends. Mama called me and basically told me that we wouldn't be doing anything tonight because we're doing that of friday.... I Know we need to save money for it cause sushi is expensive when you're land locked. But damn if it isn't depressing to know that you don't get to do anything but sit on your ass cooped up inside your house for your birthday. I knew this was going to be a sucky birthday. I'm just tired of not being able to celebrate my own birthday on my birth DAY. It's always something like people have to work (it's normally on a mon. or weds.), Or people are friggin on vacation. So I have to wait forever, usually until my sister's birthday in august. As if I didn't have enough issues...I have an inferiority complex about my sister AND my birthday.... When she was 16 she got a car.... my 16th? I got a friggin stereo... not even a really nice one but a normal one....a pair, my sister got the other one..... And it's always been like that! GEH! And now that I'm older they'll feel they don't need to give me much of anything. This year and last year I was smart and had them pay fro me to atten A-kon... If I hadn't done that I probably wouldn't have gotten anything really.

I just hope that we can go do SOMETHING tonight. I'm tired of being in this god forsaken house! I would go over to my friends house but all we would likely do is sit around, most of them on their laptops and sariah on the vido game and me sitting there feeling sorry for myself. I'm bored, restless and want to do something other then watch a movie or something for my birthday! Sorry for the ranting.
