D: I still don't have a regular internet connection of my own, but I do have a laptop that I can use to pixel at home now! Hurray! ATM I'm working on lines for a gaia petshop (for someone else to run haha!) and trying to get back into the swing of pixelatin my little 5x5 heart out.

Is am excellent Gaia B&C shop/RP created by caroline_cupcake and Dahli Lama. :3 Earlier this year I was lucky enough to get hired on for making pixels for the shop, most awesomely: character portraits for a set of collectable cards revolving around the shop.

I'll posting(spamming) some of the NPC portraits up (but no player ports, because the cards aren't available in the shop yet.) All images were created by me, but the characters and concepts belong to the other members of the Cirque staff. They aren't for adoption, use, or display by anyone other than those individuals.

This has been and continues to be a fun project to work on, I'm afraid my style hasn't grown anymore consistant, but I think it has really helped me improve my pixeling.

My 8 facts:

1. My first fandom was Dawson's Creek. Yes. I know.

2. I have a father and number of half siblings who I have never met. I don't even know their names. D=

3. My first pet (of my very own!) was a gray tabby kitten, named....Kitten.

4. I was born in Livingston, Montana.

5. D= I once had West Nile, and I seriously thought I would die. (I didn't realize what it was, and didn't go to the hospital, =w=; I was lucky not to have slipped into a coma.)

6. I look on the '08 elections with a certain amunt of amusement and satisfactions. With so many strong possibilities in the running, the democratic and republican parties may finally split (like they should have done several elections ago!)

7. I love love love my dog, Detta Mae. Even though she likes to put all her chewies and toys in my bed when it's time to sleep.

8. Georgette Heyer is one of my most favoritest authors. I'm a total romantic, but I also have a strong distaste for generic smut. So regency books full of UST (unresolved sexual tension) and lacking anything more racey than a passionate embrace a few kisses really suits me. D= If you know of any other authors who write that sort of story, poke me with the recc!

My 6 things:

1. I dont look people in the eyes. Not because I'm trying to hide something or I'm like a compulasive liar, I'm not even that shy, to me its just a reallty intimate sort of action.

2. I only own one pair of shoes at a time. I'm not uber poor or anything, I can afford shoes, but...it just seems like something of a bother to have more than one. God forbid I have to choose which pair of shoes to wear on a daily basis on top of everything else.

3. While I draw facial expressions, I end up making the same expression irl. As in: I grin stupidly when drawin big stupid grins, I scowl when drawing scowls, and so on.

4. I have a fear of broken glass, but not of getting cut.

5. I tend to start gagging when I brush my teeth. In Florida I once saw a big red roach sitting on my toothbrush, and since then I've been kinda ocd when it comes to my toothbrushes. Its not as bad as it used to be, but I still cant help but imagine roaches and other bugs crawling over my toothbrushes whenever I use them.

6. I love the smell of books. One of the first things I do when I open a new book is inhale deeply to catch its scent. x: Occasionally I have been known to avoid reading a book because I "don't like the way it smells."

X3 All in all, I'm really glad I got used to using a mouse, it really helped me learn to use more control with my hand movements...plus it got me into pixelshit. But that didn't stop me from practically attacking the UPS guy when he (finally) showed up with the (much bigger than expected!!) packacge.

In other news: It is December. For Christmas I want the ability to shoot laser beams out of my eyes. Plz & ty.
