Not quite what I expected, but not in a bad way. Just interesting. Of course, I didn't know what to expect... Anyway, lots of fun, despite getting sick and blowing all my cash really quickly. I've never been so comfortable in a crowd before. Everywhere I looked, I saw people I felt I could relate to. Awesome feeling. The anime rooms were so nice and dark and quiet... Even with the occasional comment from the peanut gallery. Walking out of the Cowboy Bebop movie at midnight was weird because all of a sudden I was in a bright hallway. My eyes were all tired from being wide open all day, and relaxed from the darkness... A painful combination. And now I can't wait for Daisho Con in November! I've got to start training my cousin to watch anime so I can drag him along.

2. Prom-
And I went to my first prom. The next day, I was deep in regret. (Don't ask why... I needed enough therapy as it is without having to think about it again.) I had my first slow dance... which was sort of creepy, actually. But then, I don't really like the guy, and he was acting strange when he pulled me onto the dance floor, so... My dress was pink, which is my least favorite color, so that didn't help with the akwardness at all.

3. Culture-
This weekend is the annual Cultural Fest. My brother's working security, so if you go to SPASH and see a tall, skinny guy who currently has a shaved head and looks ridiculous, it's probably him. Unfortunately, no cash left because of the con, so... No shopping for me........ But I hate shopping, anyway.

But I do have good news. I just saved- I mean....

I got all of the ingredients, Nik! Tomorrow is (hopefully ) going to be perfect.I found some General Tso's sauce stuff in the cupboard that might be good in the spicy stuff instead of the soy sauce. And, for the soy milk, I got some unsweetened cuz I thought it might work better.

But that's the only thing I'm looking forward to right now (besides the con!)

We (Nikki, Michelle, and I) went to the Festival of India on Saturday, claiming that it was for our Cultural Club, of course, and got henna tattoos. Homecoming is a waste, by the way. That's one of the reasons I'm not going. And if I enjoy the week's fun instead, it's free AND I don't have to talk to people I don't like! Still, I want to meet Alex, but that's not worth going to the stupid dance (sorry, Nik!)

Despite what you'd think, the Prince of Tennis Musicals (TeniMyu) are actually really good. And Hiroki Aiba is FREAKIN' AWESOME! And cute.

Did anyone else feel "languid" on this Monday after Spring Break? It's one of the worst Mondays of the year, in my opinion. We need another week off, I'm not ready yet. But since it's going to get cold, I guess it's better to be at school then sitting at home.

But I did watch Kung Pow: Enter the Fist and Airplane. Both are comedy movies, and I highly recommend them. You just have to love a baby rolling down a hill, a karate cow, and French aliens. And, of course, you can't deny the awesomeness of the guy who looks like he should be wearing tights and a leotard and prancing about on stage.
I also attempted to play LOTR Risk, but bumped the board and messed up the positions of the pieces, so we gave up. Good job, Michie. I was just about to conquer Arnor, too.
Never play I Spy with the Nagels. You'll end up laughing your head off. Or maybe that was the International House of Pancakes' fault. I don't know, but all I Do know is that their blueberry syrup rocks!
Tomorrow is completely devoted to my chapterS and maybe a little Paper Mario. And I'll probably watch some PoT... maybe a little Reborn!... We'll see.

My cousin is one of the strangest, nicest, most fun, and funniest kids I know (besides Michelle, of course!). He, his twin sister Val, and our cousin Zach are all about the same age as I am, so we've always been pretty close. It's seriously like having three more siblings, especially during the holidays. We have so many inside jokes that no one else understands that it's crazy.

The week is almost over! One more full day of school and then 3 periods on Friday, and then it's the weekend! I can't wait. It'll be a lot of fun.

My mom has an operation or something tomorrow, so she's home from Menomonie for awhile. Next week is UW-Stout's spring break, too, so she'll be here for about the next 11 days (I think). My house is going to be very loud until she goes back to work. It's kind of nice to have her around for longer than just a weekend, though.

Atobe's Gift is really funny. Fuji looks so handsome in his costume when he's on stage with Oishi (who looks like an idiot). And the mean coach lady has to be dragged away from a dating game thing (with Fuji as one of the contestants. Wish I were playing!) by Eiji and Oishi. In her place is Fuji's sister. David (the pun guy) can't stop punning the entire time, and Saeki and Kurobane get annoyed. At first it seems like all five of the women choose Shishido, who's not very bright and didn't want to play anyway, but it turns out the machine thing is just broken (and Fuji's sister voted for him! she wanted him to at least have one vote).
It's definately worth watching if you're a PoT fan and can understand the jokes.

I'll put up something when I have time, Nik. Patience is a virtue.

My parents bake blueberry muffins (from a box, how lazy!) today. Not the best, though. The mix had turned or something.

Lots of fun to walk Crusty on the channels near my house because we had to struggle through two feet of snow. And since it's been so warm, the top layer of the ice is slush. It's a good thing that I have quality boots.

I watched Kaidoh's Unknown World, and it was one of the funniest PoT episodes I've seen. I really like the part where Yuta breaks a shoelace and immediately thinks of his brother, Fuji. It's so random that I couldn't stop laughing. I also enjoy seeing Kaoru act like a cat. He's pretty good at it that I wonder how much practice he's had.

Blah blah blah, Kennils, blah blah blah...

Fuji is hilarious and has the most beautifully entrancing eyes... sigh...

Instead of baking a cake, I made 24 cupcakes and a batch of homemade frosting. They were pretty tasty, if I do say so myself. Maybe I had too much time on my hands...

I started watching Reborn, Michelle. It's incredibly hard to follow without subtitles. I've had a headache from it since about 4 yesterday afternoon. It's fun to try to understand the Japanese (and fail completely, most of the time).

My mom came home early for the weekend, so my house is lacking its usual silence. It's normally fairly peaceful because my brother's gone. She won't leave me alone, either. She tried to get me to cook salmon loaf (disgusting!) for supper today, but I got off the hook.

I hope the people traveling are ok in this weather. It was warm, but everything might freeze and make things un-bueno.

Kennils rocks.

Went over to Aska's house with Nikki, and we didn't leave until pretty late. The snow was starting to come down fairly fast and the roads were empty. Nikki got hooked on a graphic novel (Michelle, what's its name again?) and read about four of them in one night.

Today is the first full day of our 4 day weekend! The Junior Rally was so supposed to be today, but I think they cancelled it. They're going to reschedule it, so we're getting another day off whenever they do. Ah, the benefits of being a Pacelli student.

I think I got an A on all of the quizzes and tests I took this week! Most of them weren't worth worrying about (at least for me!). I can't believe 6th hour's class average (W.C.) was 70%, just barely a D-. That's really sad. It was easy, but one of the stupid true or false questions is going on my Dead to Me List (darn one word changes that change the entire sentence!).

Good luck with getting to work without a car crash, everyone! (Especially Kennils, who's awesome.)

Only one more day of school before the weekend! I'm too excited to study for my tests tomorrow, but I already know most of the information, anyway. I'll probably try to concentrate and end up failing miserably.

Mr. Winquist (Winky!) said our test today was pathetic, which made everyone feel unconfident in their performances. He doesn't care, though. It's our problem, not his, after all.

I have a test (W.C.) and a quiz (Spanish) tomorrow, and two tests (Health and Phy. Sci.) on Wednesday, but then a 4 DAY WEEKEND!! It's going to be wonderful to chillax con mis amigos y mis primos (cousins). It'll be loads of fun, even if Michelle and I do have a Confirmation class on Sunday.

I'm looking forward to the dubbed version of episode 2 of T-PoT on Saturday. It's so hilarious watching the lips move completely independently from the terrible voice acting. The acting isn't as bad as the movie we watched in Religion today, though. Chris O'Donnell (Robin from 1997's Batman & Robin) looks ridiculous as he decides whether or not to "cut the rope." As Padre (Fr. Sakowski) said, the backpack that falls to the ground in the first scene has the best acting in the entire film. If you want a laugh, I recommend it, but otherwise, it pretty much sucks.

Kennils still rocks, and Fuji is still perfect.

I've finally found the cure for writer's block! This could change my life. I can't get out of writing something by using that excuse, now. Oh, well...

I couldn't go to church this morning because my dad had to work, my mom's in San Diego (for a conference), and my brother is at college. At least I have an excuse, but now that it's Lent, I feel really bad about it.

The T-PoT episode last night was HILARIOUS! The voice acting is funny because it's (for the most part) really bad. Ryoma Echizen's voice isn't as deep or as emotionless as it's supposed to be.
The live action T-PoT movie is extremely sucky, too. That makes it fun to watch, though. The actors are not good at all, and the special effects are unrealistic. It skips a lot of great scenes from the series, but at least it's entertaining. (The costuming needs work as well.)

School tomorrow is going to be interesting. I have a math test, a physical science test on Tuesday, Michelle and I have to work on our English project (we're presenting it on Wednesday, and we only have tomorrow to work on it), and we have a World Cultures review for the test on Tuesday. I'll get through it somehow, but it's not going to be easy. I like challenges, though.

My dog Rusty (Crusty!) is annoying. I had to take him for a walk last night, and the wind was so cold, I was worried about frostbite. Maybe (not mabey, Michelle) I'm just a pansy, but it was a change after last week being so warm. The snow we got overnight made my yard look like it was a winter wonderland this morning. It was so beautiful that all I wanted to do was go outside and write a poem. It was WAY too cold for that, though. It was pretty last night at about eleven because the snow was falling, but it was being blown really hard by the wind. It was so awesome that I spent a few minutes just appreciating it before going to bed.

I should go do my homework...
