We're probably gonna start climbin here pretty quick and I can't wait! It's such a rush bein 30+ ft off the ground with nothin but your spikes and your hands holdin you on the pole (til you belt in of course, then it's all good) Quick updates on everything... I got a Nikon D60 for graduation so I'm definitely gonna have to post some pics. I keep puttin it off damnit! Anyway, I went to a tough truck, mud bog, quad race, monster truck show in august and it was pretty kickass! I got pics from that too. I got to help work on the trucks (even the monster trucks) and i helped the monster trucks load up at the end of the show. It really pays off bein the sister of a racers girlfriend I always get in the pits and it's frickin sweet!!
Down here in smalltown USA, I've neen bailin hay and ridin horses a bunch. I got into the pits at the sprint car races and it was pretty fun. They've got a huge dirt track and the 360ci sprints are fast as hell!
So that's pretty much it and life is goin really good right now! I could do with a little less shit from the guys, but I can handle it. Only real problem is I seem to have lost my phone so thats a little set back, but hey! I can sleep at night now haha!!

I went and walked around the arenas like 3 times before I actually went and took pictures, which I'll have to post some of even though most are blurry (the kodak camera is kinda losin it) My fave car by far of the entire show was this sweet '68 Chevelle in a nice burnt orange color and man was that body straight!! The paint was flawless just like most of the rest of the car.

There was this little track set up in the back of one of the arenas where a bunch of guys raced little remote control cars. They were super fast!! There was this sweet '67 Nova sittin right by the track. It had a monstrous blower and a plastic windshield built for drags. There was also a bright yellow Cutlass that had an almost fully chromed engine with gold parts here and there to accent it. It also had a little model of the car sitting right on the front.

I did a little shopping and got a Chevy Ave. sign with a bowtie right in the middle and a tin sign with a roadster sittin at the tree waitin for the green light. I got the roadster one for my dad and he really liked it! Anyway... I'll post pics with comments describing the rest of the show...

1. I am pumped for deer hunting because I get to go up to "the farm" with a .32 Winchester lever-action!! Sweet gun (No scope, it's open sights for this chick)

2. I'm freakin out about college even though it's a long way away...for now

3. I really wanna get my driver's license so I can get either a '91 Chevy Silverado or a '75-'87 Chevy Blazer. What can I say? Born and raised a Chevy girl.

4. I really like my room and I think it's awesome now that it's all decked out in tons of pictures of cars, trucks, four-wheelers, dirt bikes, drag cars, animals, and tons more stuff! Feels like home again

5. My dad is pretty much my role model and I wanna be just like him

6. I'd rather hang with a bunch of guys than girls because guys have way more fun doing stupid and potentially dangerous stuff, whereas girls sit and gossip and crap like that (or atleast almost all the girls I know that hang in groups)

7. Dirt biking and four-wheeling is the s###!! I love it and go any time I can

8. Finally, I like singing and playing Miranda Lambert songs because they're fun and fast-paced

I had a blast goin through the Zoo (the camp area where it's basically no holds barred). I played catch with Bobby Deschmidt from Interstate Batteries and one of his buddies. We watched a MX expedition right across from our camp spot. There were 3 guys and they did a ton of tricks and talked about the tours they were doing.

When we were watchin the races, we got to see everything besides the pro stock cars and drag bikes come by our camp site because we were right next to the return lane. We met some guys from the Powerade sponsors and they gave me a Tshirt and some NHRA stickers. They were real nice and came back to talk with our crew a bunch of times.

Bud Corner was the spot to be at night. On Saturday night it was literally gridlocked with vehicles end to end from all directions. Nobody moved much for about 3 hours. We talked a lot with the Bud boys who started Bud Corner. There was a stage right across from it where live bands played Friday and Saturday night.

I was able to get a bunch of pictures just from our camp site because pretty much everything went by where we were. I got to drive a new Polaris RZR, a Yamaha Rhino, and a scooter on the roads. Overall it was a blast and I'm definitely goin back next year!!!

We compliment each other's personalities well and help each other achieve personal goals if the situation ever arises. I am glad that we have been able to make everything work between us and not let petty differences stand in the way of our love.
Right now I feel I can not hold back sharing this... We are engaged to be married! When he first asked me to marry him (he has asked more than once), I knew it wasn't just puppy love. Our relationship has become serious and I am hoping it stays that way. I know nothing can ever stand in the way of my love for him.
