Let's see.. Oh right.

I got two new albums this weekend! One was Jethro Tull "Nothing Is Easy: Live at the Isle of Wight 1970". They were sandwiched between the Moody Blues and Jimi Hendrix. Now, I must say, this CD is most kickass. Any Jethro Tull fan should love it, and anybody who doesn't like Jethro Tull doesn't deserve to enjoy how wonderful this CD is.

I might just like it because I adore live recordings, but whatever.

The other one was the best of Faces. FACES.

FACES!!

That was Rod Stewarts band before he went solo. I'm pretty sure Ron Wood was in their before he went with the rolling stones, too. *checks* ok yeah he was. This album is kickass for reasons that you have to HEAR.

Anyway, this weekend I went to VA and hung out. Almost saw a Jazz band, but I didn't.

and you ask them "Where's the sound?"
The birds have all come down.

I looked into a band my mother once knew called the Throwing Muses. They have an interesting writing style (very 80s alternative, mixed with a bit of folk). I tried writing some songs myself with that style (ofcourse, I'm less cutting-edge and more traditional) and it came out rather well. I want to record a lot of it, and I'm really liking it.

I went to the beach, used no sunscreen at all and now I have a nice tan. Not sunburn. It was fun to shove my tan in the faces of all the family members who said I would get sunburn if I didn't put on lotion.

Haha, yes, good fun.

The bass guitar is fun. You guitarists out there shouldn't limit yourself, open your minds. Drums are fun too. I suck at them, but I love to play them. Sometimes I air drum and pretend the be like Bonham. Also, buy a mandolin. Those things are king.

And yes, I air guitar, and air bass, and air keyboard.

Air keyboarding rocks, by the way. I love it. If I could air keyboard for a living that would be quite the life.

This man looked exactly like my father, but I knew it wasn't him because this one had a deeper voice. He told me that he was keeping my father locked up. That was the longest dream I've ever had. By the end of it (after a series of happenings) I pushed the man off a tall clock tower, and I got my dad back.

Well my scanner is acting weird. I might need to replace it with another cheap one. Can't afford much else. Anyway, whenever I scan somehting, there's a big green and purple line going through the image, and it's about an inch wide. REALLY annoying, but what are you gonna do. Just another thing to raise money for. Man this whole getting money thing is a pain in the ass.

Anyways, I'm going to try my best to get tickets tommorow to see Jethro Tull. They rock, and that is obvious, and I would love to see them again. If I can't get tickets for them, then I'll try my best to get tickets for the Flaming Lips, which also put on a great show. They're a very phsychadelic, happy and optomistic band for those of you who aren't familiar. Very good music once you get into it. And they were awesome last time I saw them. Wouldn't mind seeing them again at all.

It's been raining like hell for the past few days, but today was sunny for a change! It's funny, because everyone thought that 6-6-06 was going to be a weird day with all these strange happenings, but it turned out to be sunny with happiness all throughout it! I never bought the whole 6-6-06 thing, because in reality it's 6-6-2006... there are three digits in there that aren't sixes. It'll be a long time until the date becomes all sixes. We'll be dead, so will are children, their children and their children. By the time the year 6666 comes, we wont really care about are remaining descendants. So don't worry everyone! It's not like anything's going to happen in that year either.

I drew some drawings that I really want to get up, but as I said before, my scanner is not working. That's really too bad. Oh well, it could be worse. Satan could have come and made the world ruled by republicans for eternity on 6-6-06. That was a joke, by the way, so no conservatives getting pissed off at me, please.

It's summer. I have a lot of time on my hands, so what do I do? Draw. And so when I draw some artwork that I really want to put up, what happens? My scanner puts a THICK GREEN LINE on every god damn thing I SCAN! Maybe there's some kind of FAQ I can read on the company's website. They seem like a helpful bunch.

Alright, well, I'm tired, it's about 3 AM here, I think I might fall asleep soon... I hope you all have had a wonderful day, with satan-free experiences. Goodnight!
