Normally I have amazing patience when it comes to art and in particular looking at not so great art. But what I just saw made me want...to throttle the bastards who get away with drawing extremely...depth-less, mind-numbingly retarded shit and then calling it ........ anime.

Things like that have really been getting under my skin lately, it could be from my amazingly awful sinus problems and lack of sleep, but overall it's been bothering me. There are so many wonderful artists out there and all the mediocre ones are receiving the attention.

It's not about my work (I don't show half of the things I make) but god-blessit I'm just so tired of looking at fan art on the front page of deviant art. There is an invisible line that has been crossed and I have just completely lost my train of thought. D:

I am so happy to announce that for the first time I drew out Tamara. You guys probably don't know who that is, but I do, and that's what matters right now. Well, I'm going to post it, so you'll be seeing it.

I've been reading more books, sadly I'm having a real hard time concentrating on them D:

Writing more would be a nice thing to start with, I'd like to write more about Dante's Gate. I have such a hard time writing, mostly because I don't know how to start. STARTING~~ AAAAHHHH! I think if I found a place where I'd like to begin I bet everything would work itself out from there.

For now I'll just stick with less writing and more drawing.

ANYWAYS, The Wii has won me over completely. It's just too cute and adorable. My sister and I are hooked on this Marble Madness game, GAH! I wanna play it now! Twilight Princess is okay so far, Linky is adorable, and as usual, doesn't say a damn thing.

Though, seriously guys, the game I played the most is Tennis.

I love Tennis.
And my tennis elbow.

Also played We Love Katamari. It's okay. I'm not sure if it's okay to laugh about it... but... I think the creator man dislikes us. ( o-o )
Got a new game, I can't remember the title... Graphics are so-so, story: what story? I have no idea what's going on in it, the battle system is too weird, it's gonna take time to get used to it.

So then, Finally passed the 100 hours mark on FF XII, and now I've got a book to finish making.

Did I ever mention to anyone just how badly a dial-up connection is? The only good thing about it is that I am able to successfully play Legend of Dragoon while waiting for the site to load.

Well, I felt compelled to inform those who read journals that I am finishing commission stuff from.. oh god... September. I'm sorry that I haven't done this sooner. m( _ _ )m They'll be put up as soon as I get to a scanner and a faster interweb connection.

In the meantime spring break is... a very extended weekend filled with rain and... children under the age of ten. ( =_= ) I really wish I had come up with 3,500 dollars for Japan.

I was looking through the religous dictionaries in our library and decided to name them after Mesoamerican religions.
Yes, that's right, Mesoamerican religions. I'm not the most original person, I know it. TT.TT

Anyways: It was pretty neat seeing how the races have some similar qualities to the religions.

Humes = Otomí / Nahuatl
Demi = Haustec
H-??? = Mixtec
Lilliputians = Zapotec

I have only read about them and when I have lots of free time I'll do more extensive research.

Any thoughts?

Sad to say, I cannot scan them in until Wednesday. ( ;-; ) So I made a journal to share my happiness with you all.

It's a crack-fic. what can ya do? In all previous experiences with crack and crack-fics alike, I've found they've been too spontaneous and hyper for me. I never have enjoyed the feeling of waking up in a bathtub full of mashed potatoes with a duck and an unopened bottle of coca-cola, fully clothed.

But this one... It's a keeper.

In my sickly stupor I've some of the funnest paragraphs yet. Then again, it is 1:39 in the morning.

Sora's parents each latched onto one of their son's arms each, predicting his attempted flight toward Riku. He flailed helplessly. "We'll be taking our leave," Sora's mother said to Riku's parents, looking stern. "I'm sorry about our gay son and your muffins."

"We'll keep in touch," Riku's mother promised, refusing to look at either Riku or Sora. Sora was then bodily dragged from the room by his parents, protesting greatly and flailing around mightily.

I had a right time, went to the movies a few times -- saw Pirates again and Monster House ( I was fondly reminded of The Goonies ).

FINALLY finished Fatal Frame II ( Sister: "What do we do with twins?" Cousin & I: "Sacrifice them." ) We also finished Prince of Persia (again), Onimusha and Devil May Cry 2 & 3 (again). Played lots of Vagrant Story. We've been working overtime, yep.

I watched Fargo and was reminded that, yes, sadly... Some of us do sound like that.... :: SIGH ::

Went camping in Iowa... It was... a quaint state. I saw many many many seas of corn and soy beans. Spook Cave was... ok. We were only there for about a day and a half. Before we left we went canoeing on the Turkey River... It was fun until we tipped over. It was all my fault. ( ; ; ) Worst thing was, we tipped over in the n a s t i e s t part of the river.

Right, anyways. I was watching Power Rangers yesterday. Oh Johnny Young Bosch you crazy crazy man... Gah! Side tracked again! Right-o.

I'll be leaving for Chicago on the 16th of July after my mom's wedding. Most likely I'll be back around the 26th. I'm going to try to convince my family to visit the homeland... Sweden... :: sigh :: yeah. I doubt it, but I'd like to go.

I've decided to leave Dante's name as Dante but when ever I say it I'll cry out in frustration.
I liked the names you all suggested and might use them in different stories. If I do, I'll let you know~and then you can take credit for the name. Err. yeah.

I've got a lot of stories sitting on my desk now and am trying to work a little bit of each one everyday. Today I worked on No. 9 (and my French skills).

I feel as though Dante's name is too common so, he's gonna need a new one. But you're going to be the one to choose it ~ yes, YOU!

BE FOREWARNED: The title of the comic is 'Dante's Gate' so changing his name changes the title.

RULES: There are no set rules, just take this somewhat seriously. I don't want anyone to say "Hey! Name him Ashley! Ashley's a boys name! LOL!!1"
Because I will so beat you up.

I'll put up a character sheet of some kind for Dante so you can see what he looks like. Dante was only called Dante because it means "enduring" or something like that. (His full name: Dante Amasa ~ the enduring burden bearer)

It's a four year idea (five year?) I've been working with and it frusterates me to no end. I have a small 'comic' about them in a notebook (which regrettably I have put up on my account under scraps).

You probably won't understand anything, so if you choose to check it out here's a little ground for your feet:

Inez-Eden (god, female) planted a tree that grew flowers, each flower represented an emotion of hers, those flowers then matured into children. Most of the children got along fairly well, except for Kurai. Little Kurai had a secret crush on Nikushimi (Niku-chan for short ( n,~ ) ) and decides to confront him about it one day. Niku doesn't... err... return those feelings ( awww... ) and they do BATTLE! WHAAA! No, but seriously now, to shorten things up--Kurai eats Niku (yay for cannibalism) and then later he eats Kana and becomes Despair. Despair then somehow, with the power of mystical forces unseen, becomes Satan : shrugs :.

Kurai = loneliness
Niku = hatred

My stepmom and I were at Blockbuster lookin' for movies for Friday-Movie-Night, I was just moosin' about ( ( >,<; ) --{Nya} ) through the aisles with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children when I saw a-----GIGANTIC EYEBALL!! So I got that one instead. MMmyep, everything makes a little more sense now. I was a little dissapointed that the story didn't focus through Amamiya-kun's POV. But that's ok, it was awesome anyways.

I thought the ending battle was easy, long as HELL, but easy. Xemnas is just another Jedi-Sephiroth wannabe, I mean come on! He's got freakin' LIGHT-SABERS!!! Controlling Riku, I suppose, was the hard part. Anyways.... The 'Hidden Video' was AMAZING! Can't wait for the Third Game.. Yes there will be a third one. And I swear to God if Riku goes missing AGAIN I will throw the controller down in disgust.

GWAARR!!! I never know how to answer!! .: pulls hair out in fistfulls :. A couple weeks ago I was sketchin' some Dom pictures when a silly little freshman came up behind me. She was soo cute and innocent that I just had ta rip her apart. And--and-and she fondled my sketchbook with dirty fingers! She asked the usual questions: Whacha drawin'? What's his name? blah blah blah... I'm unusually nice to this type of frequently asked questions but... not that day. Then she said it. I'm not sure why but I kinda lost it. I told her that I had sold my soul to my lord Satan. My drawings are all for him and that if I don't draw them zombies will come up from Hell to devour me and my family. She left after that.
