Lots of shit been going down; one friend threatens to commit suicide numerous times, other friend actually makes the attempt and is now back at Dominion. Why does everyone come to me when they wanna tell someone they're killing themselves? Experience? All I can do is give ya methods that don't hurt much and are relatively neat. If I was good at talking people out of it, I wouldn't have ended up at Dominion in the first place. Although if I wasn't good at it, my best friend would have been dead multiple times...

Anywhoozlebees... I am officially a cashier at Whole Foods Market in Reston. It's a hippie grocery store. I don't particularly care about saving the environment or 'organic' food(fun fact: the word 'organic' means carbon-based. therefore, all food is organic-- no matter what it is.), but I'm making $9 an hour. First day tomorrow. Weeoot. I don't think any of youse live in the area, but if you go by the Reston Whole Foods tomorrow evening I'll be cashiering my ass off.

Cartoons
Johnny Test is a pretty ok not bad but not really good either show. Saw Atomic Betty for the first time... Not impressed. Again, not bad, but not good either. I've come to terms with the fact that American Dragon: Jake Long reeeeeeally sucks, but I adore it anyway. It's all because of the god damn 'Hubba Hubba Hula'. God Damn. Oh and Spud is a hardcore stoner. What the unholy hell does Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi have to do with anything? Why is it not about two incredibly stereotypical Japanese girls who speak English phonetically, but about two neon-haired Americans that intermittantly spout random Japanese words and occasionally do funny things? Only good thing about that show is Kaz. Disney's Hercules is a rather underrated show. Goofy as all fuck, but still quite good. Dave the Barbarian is one of the best new shows I've seen in a long time. One thing, STOP SAYING BEJABBERS. IT IS NOT FUNNY.

Comics
Try to find I Luv Halloween by Keith Giffen and Ben Roman. The artwork is like a mixture between Roman Dirge and Jhonen Vasquez; only it's good. You freaks will love it. In one part, a little girl dressed as the tooth fairy kills one bully with a bra + rock sling, then gleefully strangles his sidekick. Then to make sure the boy is dead, she kicks him in the nutstash. Then she bashes his teeth out with a rock to add to her collection. Fun stuff.

Arts
Finally found my cartooning style. Took goddamn long enough. Doodled a bit today, rather good doodles if I do say so myself. I've fogotten if I owe anyone anything. Say something if yes. Say nothing if no.

Movies
The original Frankenstein movie is awesome, yet at the same time unintentionally hilarious. Saw kicks ass in every department besides acting. Blazing Saddles is a classic. If that's what white supremacists mean by the Jewish Media, I don't see the problem. Outbreak is kick-ass until the end when the Deu Ex Machina the Wonderchild shows up. No.

I've been thinking about the legal system of Foster's. Like what rights would Imaginary Friends have, by clues from the show. Also, the biological processes, what makes an Imaginary Friend an Imaginary Friend(they're all so different, yet they must have some similar biological structures). Then I started thinking of the ethical problems of that world, such as: Is it possible to create an Imaginary Friend that is identical to a human in every way? If so, what makes that an Imaginary Friend and not an actual human? Or: How do the religious fundamentalists view the fact that children are creating life with barely any effort(except Terrence... "HURRGH")? Or: What if you made an Imaginary Friend that copies a celebrity or other person exactly? How do you identify the IF from the human? And would it be legal to have, theoretically, hundreds of the same person walking around? There are so many good questions, because I have an insanely nerdy, overactive brain. I'll be writing essays on this, probably posting 'em here too. Keep an eye out if you like devising the laws that run a cartoon world. OH GOD I'M SO NERDY

And, we can ask the teacher(Ms. Wingfield who RAWKS hardcore) if there's something we want to study as a class(like forensics, anthropology, pathology, whatev). It is beautiful. My project will be about the preservation of organic tissue. Wee.

You know what? I can't fucking remember to start the voting, and it'll end up taking me another two months to actually tally the votes and whatnot, so fuck it. 6] The color you use most often is? Probably black. Or pink. Or blue. Or red. I don't know SHUTUP

7] What area of the pictures do you put most effort into? Hands and hair. Hands are tough, and I'm a perfectionist so it has to look right.

8] How long does it take you do draw a picture? Depends. Some drawings take days. On average I'd say anywhere from 15 minutes to a half-hour.

9] Do you keep your rough drafts? Sometimes. I give a lot of stuff away too.

10] What kind of font do you use most often? Verdana.

11] What's the dpi when you scan? 150 I think...

12] Do you do anything else when you're drawing pictures? The TV has to be on and I have to be in the living room(or at school). I need background noise to keep me on track.

13] How many pictures do you draw in a month? I don't know... Fifty? Something like that.

14] What kind of paper do you draw your pictures on? Printer paper. I use the backs of the papers no one needs anymore usually. My parents are always telling me to use a sketchbook, but it's too artsy. Bleh.

15] What kind of paper do you use for sketches and drafts? Notebook paper. the lines help me measure.

16] How long does it take to ink something? A couple minutes I guess.

17] Do you do fanart/other people's characters or original pieces/characters? Yup! Hehee.

What is up with these idiots complaining about a fucking animu import company? 4Kids or something. Seriously. Going into one of their 'discussions' is like being bashed in the face with a baseball bat forged of pure idiocy. They whine that the company 'dumbs down' the shows, makes them 'too kiddy'. Um. Their demographic is children. The company doesn't give a rat's ass about what you think, you're thirty-five and you live in your mom's basement. But anyway, these people are incomprehensibly stupid. They dedicate their everyday lives to focusing their impotent rage upon a faceless company that takes shitty Japanese shows and turns them into shitty American shows. They actually talk about causing employees of the company physical harm. Yes. That certainly makes you look rational, yes sirree. Why are people this stupid allowed to live? I just want to find one and scream real loud into their ear: IT'S A FUCKING CARTOON, GET OVER YOURSELF(take a shower, get a job). But then I'd have to hear their crap about how animu is an art form and Japan is the best country in the world and I'm not really an overweight, unattractive white person; I'm a magical elf/geisha/wolf/dragon/eight-cocked-cent aur with the power to shift galaxies and shit rainbows.

I got Mindless Self Indulgence's new album. It's... oddly coherent. And mean! Especially the song 'Stupid Motherfucker'. That's a personal fave, besides 'You'll Rebel to Anything(As Long As It's Not Challenging)'. Yay!

And I found an Information Society album. Obscure, sub-par 80s synthpop. For two dollars. Hooray! Let's groove to 'Mirrorshades'. Argh. This isn't even the album that had their one hit song. But I loves it good. Ha HA I am a crafty consumer.

It's funny that the truth about flesh-eating bacteria is a lot scarier than rumors or TV says. Apparently, not only are streptococcus bacterium causing necrotizing fasciitis, so are staphlococcus. All that means is now there's a slightly higher possibility for it to infect you. The icing on the cake is that the staphlococcus bacteria are rapidly becoming resistant to antibiotics; mainly because of widespread misuse(you don't really need to wash up with antibacterial soap every time, regular soap works just as well).

The infection can start out as looking like a zit. Wouldn't that be hilarious? You wake up with a pimple and two weeks later there's a giant hole in your face. And because it's resistant to antibiotics, they have to gouge the infected piece of flesh away, increasing the probability of sepsis. Fortunately, if you had NF you'd know it(and so would everyone around you). No one knows as of yet why strep and staph start digesting flesh. It seems that even if you rub yourself against someone's open NF sore, it's still very unlikely you'd catch it yourself. But don't do that, it's gross.

I can't stop devising a D&D Ed Edd and Eddy.

NERD. OVERLOAD.

Ed would obviously have Barbarian class, with his low INT and high STR scores, but I'm giving his a bit more WIS than the others... as he can be surprisingly lucid at times. He will make the best Barbarian EVAR with the whole bunny allergy and love of chickens and whatnot. Oh man. Oh freakin' man. Ooh! The WIS score also allows him to make weird references to crap! Score!

Edd's got Wizard class, as magic users are wimpy brainiacs. Wizard, not Sorceror, because Wizards have to learn magic whilst Sorcerors have an innate magic skill. Edd's got supah INT and DEX scores(remember that one episode where the Kankers were throwing water balloons at them for some reason? and he dodged them all? yeah that), but sucky CON and STR... I gave him the same STR as a pixie. Hee hee.

Eddy... I had some trouble with. I knew he had to be a Rogue, but what kind? Then it hit me. A Bard. Wheelin' and dealin' jack-of-all-trades who'll sweet talk you out of your life savings. Perrrfek. He's got pretty normal scores, except for CHA which he needs to be a Bard. Meh.

I'm thinking up campaign settings and NPC scores for the other kids. Auuugh.

Wow. People on this site are waaaaaaaaaaaay too quick to jump to conclusions.

On one picture, I said it reminded me of the problem with girls and their weight; basically the whole 'I'm so skinny and better than you lol' vs. 'I'm large and in charge lol'. NOWHERE did I say that the artist was on either side, NOWHERE did I say that either was necessarily better(in fact, I stayed on the side of HEALTHY people)... And she gets offended(and one of her friends too for some reason, i wasn't talking to her).

And then I expressed my distaste for rabid anti-smokers(the ones that think i don't realize i'm killing myself), and the chick gets on her Huffy bike(actually at first she was very polite.... then left another comment where she exploded for some reason) and, again, the entourage steps in and 'defends' her... By saying without expression we're zombies wordswordswords. Again, where did I say anything untoward?

And what is this hoo-ha when black guys drive like this, but white guys drive like this? It's insanity!(and I bet someone will take offense to this too, hooray for humanity!)

Hooray. Now I don't have to worry about coming out to my mom. I just have to live with her telling me that homosexuality is a grave sin for the rest of my life. Whoop-dee-fuckin'-doo. Let's pick and choose what parts of the bible we'd like to follow, eh? Anyway, where in the bible does it say a woman can't be with another woman? Most importantly, what does it matter? Is there any logic behind the argument? If a person's parents can accept their sexuality, wouldn't a loving God be able to? If God is a truly omnicient being, wouldn't God be able to see that all it is is two people in love that happen to be of the same gender? Furthermore, are there any actual risks involved? To me it seems like less risk, mainly because there would be a decrease in unwanted pregnancies, and an increase in adoption. Fuck. Arguing with a hypocritcal conservative Christian like my mother would be akin to trying to argue with a howler monkey. A violent howler monkey.

Just to make things clear, I really have no problem with the Christian faith, even though I choose not to follow it. Jesus is cool, lol. It's just the Christians that piss me off.

Lemme tell you this as a rhetorical story, alright?

Let's say there's a girl named Lucy. Now, Lucy's had trouble making friends all her life, but in high school, she meets some people whom she thinks of as he first real group of friends. She likes being around these people, likes hearing about their lives, likes being included in their social activities, likes that they all help each other out with schoolwork, etc. You get my drift.

Lately, Lucy has noticed that this group of friends doesn't seem to be reflecting her feeling back. She'll talk to them, but they ignore her. When she asks for help, they make her feel like she's an idiot even though she helps them when they have questions without batting an eye. When she sits in a group with them, they make her feel like an outsider, like she never belonged and never will belong.

This, of course, makes Lucy very sad. But one day, Lucy meets some new people. These people like Lucy for who she is. They like hearing about what she has to say as much as she likes hearing what they have to say. These new friends like a lot of the same activities Lucy does, even though they maybe aren't as booksmart as Lucy's old friends. The new group of friends make Lucy feel like she really belongs and is loved, and she ends up spending more and more time with the new friends.

Then one day, Lucy runs into one of the friends from her old group. Let's call her Carrie. Carrie and Lucy used to be really close, almost two of a kind. Now they barely speak to each other. Lucy cheerfully asks Carrie about something related to their Math class, Carrie answers Lucy like normal. Lucy then brings up the fact that a lot of people from the old group are starting to treat her differently, as if they're scared or worried. Lucy has noticed this for a while, and it's been nagging at her conciousness.

Carrie explains that Lucy's old friends are in fact, worried about her. They feel like they've been snubbed for this new group, and miss her presence. They want her to come back and assuage any fears that Lucy may be doing dangerous things. Carrie insists that the old group did care about Lucy and that Lucy had been at fault for distancing herself.

Lucy is dumbstruck. How dare they say something like that? All the while Lucy had known these people, they had shunned her, ignored her, acted like she was a freak, inferior-- an outcast. They had never tried to understand her, never asked her about herself, or about how she felt, what she was doing, what she believed in... Lucy had asked them these questions, however, and was usually met with a curt response, or them looking at as if she was insane. Lucy tells Carrie of these feelings, Carrie maintains her previous stance, then leaves as she needs to go home.

Lucy is left alone with her thoughts.

What is she to do?
