Well, actually I got back yesterday late at night <:
This is my first time trying to write a 'real' journal, so here goes nothing D8

My dad, two brothers, and I took a trip to Monteray Bay, driving by car actually took about five hours, but about 65% into the drive my dad noticed his gas gauge was really low... we looked for any gas station signs but unfortunately the closest one was 20 miles away, about 7 miles into the drive we ran out of gas... how fun My dad and brother were going to walk those other 13 miles and left his cell with us, leaving me stuck in the car with my brother at 7pm, when it was pretty dark. My brother tried to lighten up the mood by screaming like Snake and growling like those heavy metal doods, he made me laugh pretty hard, that killed some time I guess. After a few minutes my dad called us and said some really nice dood asked them if they needed help so they ended up getting a ride with him. That saved a few hours luckily. So we waited about 40 minutes longer and they came back with GAS.
We drove for another 3 hours until we found an Applebee's (lol). My dad called the hotel to notify them that we would be a little late. But it turns out they closed at 11. lol wtf. So we skipped Applebee's and went on to driving.
We got to the hotel about 2 hours later at 10:40. In the hotel we watched tv for a few hours and went to bed.
