Seriously. Art? Wut? Oh, right, I guess I do draw sometimes.... heheehehe....

I want to do some Final Fantasy stuff, since that's been the mood of the summer. Also some Seiken Densetsu stuff, because THAT bug is biting me too. And I intend to STOP drawing exclusively on post-it notes, damn it all. I even bought a sketchbook and I'm going to force myself to use the blasted thing, so help me. >_
That is, if I can put this gosh darn game down for longer than fifteen minutes without getting the shakes. XD

...Well, barring one or two that are technically unfinished according to my personal standards of approval. I'll get around to them, someday.

Additionally, the new Delain album, April Rain rocks my socks pretty good. For those familiar with the project/band's first venture, Lucidity, it's pretty much more of the same. Which is FINE by me.

Now, I have more WoW characters and sundry other originals I really need to get around to drawing and updating... at least my muse seems to be partly done with her vacation.

In honor of that, I think I'll go slaughter some stuff in Sholazar Basin now. ^.^v Cheers!

I've got some other junk of old that I finished ages ago and just never got around to scanning due to a pile of clutter amassing around my scanner and rendering it unreachable. Thanks to the spring cleaning bug, the scanner has been excavated and I'll post stuff again.

Still attempting more writing... the trick of course is finding time and brain power both. And a lack of noise-- which almost never happens around my house. Rawr.

That aside... now I need sleep. x_x;

So, alas, I have no awesome drawings these days. Not for lack of stuff I SHOULD do-- several characters are in need of up to date portraits, both in the original arena and in the World o' Warcrack fanart. Thanks to the addition of the barber shops, several of my folks and Cyhirae's got some visual tweakings.

I'm going to try getting on the bandwagon of writing more... So there's a WoW ficlet somewhere in that mix.

Fallain: "Well, let's see... I really stopped counting at 22 or so... So we'll say about 1,022 then? ^.^"
Jugo: "Old enough it shouldn't be important to you. *flat look*"

2) Height?
Efir: "What, are you implying I'm short or something!? >_< Cuz I'm not, dammit! I'm a growing boy, awright!?" (; He's 5'1"...)
Fallain: "Oh, about 5'7" or so... *shrug*"
Jugo: "5'7" and three quarters of an inch. *blink* ..What? How am I supposed to make robes that fit if I don't have a precise measure? Ugh... *SIGH*"

Efir: "Course not, heh! ...Well, Naris always gets on my case about my manners, and the Chief really hates it when I barge into his office after a case-- Kevat just grumbles and keeps tellin' me I should use the doors instead of the windows to go in and outta the house... uh.. ....o.O? What..?"
Fallain: "I suppose that depends on who you ask. ^.^ Althar never could take a joke... I suspect even now he'll be hellbent on snapping any broomstick he sees in half... o.O; But honestly, you can't expect me to charm the cleaning supplies around HIS schedule, can you? Heheh.. *...grin.*"
Jugo: "I'm a Sin'dorei. *eyebrow raising* Do you really even have to ask?"

Efir: "#O_O# Uh- w-w-what!?"
Fallain: "*blink* Oh my, how forward. ..Well, the answer is no. But I hope you won't take that as assuming I'm promiscuous or the like. It's a need; you crave it the same as you do food or drink, and so it should be sated accordingly. That's all. *dismissive wave*"

Jugo: "Nonexistent. *GLARE*"

Fallain: "I'm quite sure my spells made absolutely certain there would be no unwarranted... packages... left in the care of my partners. So, no."

Efir: "Ice cream! Best stuff ever! ^__^ ..Oh, but pizza's pretty good too. And sandwiches-- gotta have fries though-- and I guess burgers. Ice cream's still the best though."
Fallain: "Hmm.. I can't say I have a specific favorite... any well-prepared dish will do, I suppose. It had best look good, too. Presentation is key."
Jugo: "I don't care; as long as it isn't FISH. *shiver*"

As I've been feeling the need for a tiny break from WoW the last couple days, doodling is going in full force.

So YAY! I have deviations that number into the triple digits at last!! I still have some older stuff to dig up and stick in here... plus I'm in the process of tweaking the comments to make them a smidge more organized.

I do try to keep them concise as I can; knowing what the original characters are really about is kinda important, no?

Astute watchers have probably noticed a rather huge amount of artwork being put up from the Dark Games saga. Let's just say it's currently where the muse is hanging out. She's feeling like a pervert, I guess.

Here again is where I plug Cyhirae's corner, as the story itself is half hers. The poems circulating around Dark Games will help immensely in grasping some of the characters, for those who're interested at all. ^.^

So here I thank those people, Moon Guardians or otherwise, who have faved my stuff or offered thoughtful commentary to my art. I really do eat up all your comments--I especially like the ones that offer up some specific or thoughtful feedback on the work too. I like to know exactly WHAT about the pictures people like, so I know if it should stay or go in future scribbles.

Also... my ego isn't that fragile, so if you see flaws or don't like something, criticism (of the constructive kind) is always, always welcome.

I've been on a doodling kick lately, so stuff both old(ish) and new is going up, rapidfire.

- Imported FFIV DS last month and devoured it. Loved it.
- Bought Dawn of Mana (PS2) on a whim and currently working on it. It makes me HAPPY. ^___^

- Slacking on journal entries for Mythology class. How hard can it be to BS seven pages of random thoughts about stories? I do that daily.

- Inspiration from Dawn of Mana has led me to fiddle with a 'new' art style. YAY. More to come on that, I hope.

- Sprained my foot last weekend. It sucked immensely, it looks hideously purple for the bruising, and still hurts a smidge... but it's on the mend. Some days you seriously shouldn't get out of bed.... it's dangerous! o_O

And the artwork! Finally my gallery is catching up to current. At least we're into 2007 now... YAY! XD

I'd definitely like to throw up more art to get caught up to the present day, but it's going slow... because I have to pick and choose from the slew of scribbles, then edit them for posting quality, blah blah blah.

I will get up to current, though. And there will be fanart in that mix too. World of Warcrack- er, I mean, WarCRAFT. Ys. All my dearest loves, really.

But lately I'm also hitting the old skool Final Fantasies! You know, the games most 20-something RPGers probably cut their gaming teeth on as kids: Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy VI... the GOOD ONES. And oh, the new translations for the GBA ports, they are good.

However, I require Square translate the new DS remake of FFIV. I may import the damn thing anyway, simply because it's that awesome, and because it's a nice excuse to try and practice my limited Japanese skills. YAY! XD This likely means a flurry of FF-related artwork in the near future, because I'm obsessive like that.

That's not to say that I stopped drawing. Oh no, I kept right at that. Hopefully I've improved.

In any case, I'm trying to put up my works, old and new, in the order they were created, so my progress is a little more visible. Pretty much everything is sketch stuff these days, because I'm just not able to make myself knuckle down and work on a picture from start to finish as much anymore.

One day I hope to get some better digital tools beyond ye olde Paintshop Pro. I've begun to miss coloring my art... ^.^;;

Ah, well. That's neither here nor there, for now. Hopefully you enjoy what you see. I always welcome comments. I don't really mind critiquing, but I'm not obligated to listen to it, so HA! ^_^

It's going to be awhile before I have this gallery up to current with all my junk. Hoo, boy. Mind the dust, kids.
